I was referred to Wolfgang by a friend and was happy to be able to get scheduled in for a hair cut/dye appointment this weekend. Booking an appointment was extremely convenient and Wolfgang was able to text me some dates that he had available. His appointments fill up really quickly, so do plan on booking a future date with him weeks ahead. From what he told me it's really rare to book a same day appointment with him. The salon itself was super cute/clean and very trendy. The other employees working here were extremely friendly and the atmosphere felt lovely. Wolfgang was had a good sense of humor and kept me laughing with all of his hair stories! My favorite part about the whole experience was my hair wash and (heavenly) conditioning treatment. TERRBLE!!! Bought a $107.00 Groupon for a haircut and full-highlights ot single process color on Sept 10. I called Wolfgang's phone number (where he says he'll return the call "as soon as possible," 3 days in a row leaving a detailed message saying which Groupon I had purchased and would like to set up an appointment with him. You can tell he does a detailed job and he said he treats all customers the same (irrespective of Groupon or not) in hopes they become return customers, which is all very refreshing. So, similar to others, I found the salon and Wolfgang through Groupon and Yelp with high ratings. So why not? Hair will grow back and Wolfgang had such high ratings and favorable reviews. Scheduling an appointment was easy-peasy. I gave Wolfgang a few dates and times and he was able to accommodate to my schedule. I came in on Saturday morning, and arrived earlier to scope out the parking situation. There are plenty of street parking, and if you're lucky, there may be a space in the driveway, but I ended up nearby. I purchased the Groupon for a haircut, deep conditioning (much needed), and either highlights or a single process. My mane was in desperate need of some TLC - it's been a while since I've had a hair cut, and for some reason, it's resembling a tumbleweed and a comb/brush would just get stuck. Wolfgang is a hoot! He's hilarious and can definitely chat about any random statement/comments. He definitely listens to you and what your lifestyle is, as well as what you want in your hair, as well as suggestions. He's not afraid to tell you no. :) Anyways, I am lazy and forget to get my hair cut and maintained, so Wolfgang gave me a low maintenance cut and sent me on my merry way. AND he gave me suggestions for a change the next time I see him. I'll definitely take that to heart for future stylin'. My hair is healthy, and maintained. Can't wait to come back as see ya. Wow!! What a great cut and color!! My hair feels soft, shines and is beautiful!! I walked in with horrible stubborn grey and orange roots from my last color and Wolfgang not only made it look perfect but the hair color didn't stink or burn at all!! Wanted to see what all the rave reviews were about but never got a chance. He doesn't return calls and curtly and impolitely makes you text with him. He made no apologies when he appeared to be booked out for a month, and then when I asked if he keep me posted for any cancellations he never responded. I ended up having to try to reschedule my appt and was once again met with rudeness and one word answers. He took over a day to respond to my request for a different time so I canceled my groupon and got a refund. When he finally responded to my text request, I informed him I canceled it due to poor communication and rudeness. He wrote back saying "I am sorry you feel that way" which is of course, not an apology, and defended himself saying he is not overbooked. NO apology for his rudeness. No haircut is worth being treated like crap before you even meet the guy. Pass. read more

I can't say enough about Wolfgang. I initially found him on Groupon and he gave me the best haircut and color ever! The cut was so stylish and the color so rich... my hair never felt healthier. However, I screwed up.... I'm embarrassed to say that I let a fast talking "hairdresser" touch my locks against my better judgment. I knew I shouldn't let anyone other than Wolfgang touch my hair but I thought I'd give it a whirl. All I wanted was some slight grey touched up before my wedding in a few weeks. BIG MISTAKE. The chunky yellow blonde tiger stripes looked ridiculous and as I told Wolfgang in my "SOS" phone call... I looked like I was paying homage to a 1998 Kelly Clarkson. Wolfgang squeezed me into his busy schedule. Thank goodness for that since I didn't know how long I could pull off the baseball cap look. His shop is trendy and nice, just like Wolfgang himself, and immediately I felt at ease as he went to work fixing my pathetic head of hair. Bought a groupon and was able to schedule a hair cut within a week. Wolfgang was ready for me and spent a LOT of time cleaning up my hair after my last not-so-good hair cut(s!). What really impressed me is that Wolfgang spent extra time targeting split ends and understanding that I wanted to keep my hair medium length. This is the best salon I've been to in California, without a doubt! Wolfgang KNOWS hair-- he knows how to fix it, how to style it, cut it, color it, and make you look better than you ever thought you could! I met him after purchasing a groupon for a cut + conditioning treatment. My hair was damaged, dry, and misshapen. With minimal direction from me, he gave me the best cut of my life, kept the length I wanted while still getting rid of ALL (I seriously mean all) split and dead ends.
