We landed the night Cubs made to World Series...so we stopped at this piece crap to watch last 2 innings and Manager shut the TV off and kicked us out at 9:30 saying he closing!!! There was 12 of us here watching the game and he just shuts it down. WHO DOES THAT? They are suppose to be open till 10pm! I just don't get it! The bar keep turns tv on so we can watch it behind the fence. Thank goodness. This manager deserves to be fired. Absolutely excellent service, the food is tasty, why it only has 3 stars is beyond me. If you are looking for somewhere to wait for you flight I highly recommend coming here. Unfortunately I missed my flight and had to wait for my next flight at Chicago O Hare Airport so to buy time I thought I'd get some Chicago style pizza at the famous Wolfgang Puck . First when I approached the bar to sit it was not cleaned from the previous patrons and the bartender didn't acknowledge our presence , then took the order of other patrons that arrived after us before us ! A disaster. In a busy airport, 20 minutes until a waitress paid any attention and then only after we got up to leave. 20 more minutes and the manager comes out to inform me that they don't have the ingredients for the Chinois salad. In partaking of my colleague's pizza, I discovered a length of dirty butcher twine baked into the dough. Like most I had a 2 hour layover so stopped here because of familiarity with the name. Ordered 4 cheese pizza and was warned it would take a few mins. I walked around in search of somewhere to sit and found a nice corner table in a corner. The table was dirty and that's when the trouble began, asked a lady if she could clean the table and she ignored me twice. I thought perhaps language barrier. Looked like she may have been logging in for work. I stood there and she proceeded from the bar to the food prep area so I looked her in the eye and followed asking again. She finally said a guy is going around cleaning tables. I looked around and I saw no guy so I asked another lady and she said she doesn't do tables and asked another employee about the guy. At his point I'm thinking "really". So someone finally zoomed by and dusted all the crumbs onto the chair and floor. In at this point thinking wtf I have on nice white capris. I sucked it all up thinking let's just eat and move on. The pizza was just ok and the ingredients tasted fresh. I'm sitting here eating my pizza thinking what a poor business model. I wasn't expecting 5 star service just a quick bit and respect since I dropped my hard earned money on breakfast. I'm a chief learning officer and I develop trainings on many subjects including customer service. I guess since I have another hour to go I'll gather material on what not to do for the development of my courses complete with pictures. Service by Regina is a joke! I would have gladly called management to complain, but was unable to easily find a number. So, yelp will do. I sat at the bar and even though it was not busy when I sat down I was left waiting a good 10 minutes for service. Once Regina did start taking orders she still took other customers' orders that sat after me. I didn't think anything of it. Could have been an oversight and I really was in no rush. But then once I did put my order in she gave me the bill to pay immediately. I found this odd as I noticed she had not asked this of any of the other patrons before or after me. It wasn't a fast food joint, but I wasn't going to question her system. So I still gladly paid, but put 'cash' in the tip line as I did not feel I should tip on a service that had yet to be performed and had cash. Sometime later Regina began to bring food out and when I noticed she was serving people who had ordered after me I inquired about my order. Immediately she realized she had given my food to the gentleman seated to my right. I consider myself reasonable and patient, but this irritated me. The gentleman said he did not touch it and I didn't think he had so I figured it best to keep things civil and moving so I just accept the plate that was given to him. Her service continued to be poor by not refilling my water (several times asking) and waiting minutes for the napkins and jelly I had asked for. Luckily, since Regina had requested I pay before any service I didn't have to wait around for my bill. I stood to go and as I was grabbing my purse to leave a (minimum) cash tip she wasted no time getting in my face questioning why I put 'cash' in the tip line and demanded, not asked, that I mark that out and include tip. By this point, I was done with her and her attitude and told her I didn't have to do any such thing. She started yelling at me and telling me she didn't want a tip from me, but that I will mark out the 'cash' from my receipt. I don't know protocol or her reasoning for this, but I don't take kindly to someone yelling and making demands of me especially after giving such poor service. I told her not to fudge my receipt as I will be watching my bank statement and walked out. (I always double check service receipts. Many would be surprised by how many servers will add on to their tip and I had no doubt Regina would have done so had I not said anything.) I can't recall the food itself, but thanks to Regina alone I will never return to Wolfgang Puck. read more

Don't be drawn in by the name. I haven't even started eating yet and I am ready to walk out. When I arrived at the podium, the woman told me that it could take 5-15 minutes to get a table. When I asked for an outlet (it IS an airport, after all!), she said there were none. There were plenty of free tables, and when I pointed this out, she said, "They are very slow. It can take 5-15 minutes to set a table." Huh? When I replied that doesn't bode well for getting served promptly, she rolled her eyes. I ordered a Cabernet that was served in a sticky glass with wine sloshed all over the outside of the glass. I ordered a salad, asking for a dressing that is NOT sweet - a genuine novelty in the US, which is a source of great exasperation for folks who don't enjoy syrupy salad. He offered the citrus vinaigrette. When it arrived, I tasted it - too syrupy for me - so I asked for oil and vinegar. He brought me oil and Balsamic vinegar - the OTHER American favorite salad syrup. I asked for lemon explaining that I don't like sugar and he argued that there was sugar in wine. Really? That doesn't mean I want it in my salad! Wolfgang! Are you listening? Your name is plastered on the front of this place and your reputation is on the line! Oh, BTW, I have tasted my pizza since I started writing this, and it sucks! read more

I was trilled to find that in Terminal 2 that there were lots of restaurants that didn't involve a side of fries. The choices were abundant, but I went with this one, since I knew the name. The hostess seated us quickly and this location was ideal for people watching. The waiter that we had was friendly and eager to please, and was quick to get drink refills, etc. We ordered two bowls of the Clam Chowder and shared a pizza. I was actually surprised at how few things they had on this menu - of all the things that Wolfgang Puck is known for, it seems like there could have been more variety. Anyhow....the pizzas all kind of had something "weird" to them, but the one that I got was a three cheese with sun dried tomatoes. I probably ordered the wrong thing in all honesty - I had to change up the order a little since I don't like goat cheese, which was fine - but even then....eh. I only ate one piece and went about my way. If I found myself hungry in Terminal 2 again, I'd go somewhere else. Also, a little pricey - but I kind of expected that. read more

The Pucks where I ate is the nice sit-down restaurant in Terminal 3, but that doesn't mean that the food was up to par! The "roasted beet" and goat cheese salad was drowning in dressing, and the beets were pickled, not roasted (undoubtedly out of giant restaurant-supply can). Very disappointing. As far as airport food goes, this is as good as it gets. I only got the clam chowder as the seasonal soup selection, but it was very on point and I've tried chowders east to west. I also tried the butternut squash soup, which was very good as well although a tad sweet for my liking. I watched the salads being made and the fire grilled pizzas as well, both of which I gladly approve of. The staff is as friendly as airport workers will get. I recommend coming here or Frontera and no where else. read more

Classic breakfast - good eggs and toast. Sausage was absolutely awful, go for the bacon.

This is bad bad place and really hurt Puck's reputation. Visited location on the way from CDG to DFW, were looking for healthy and fresh food after 8 hrs in flight. 2 hostesses standing upfront telling customers that wait time 15 minutes at the same time there 7 tables covered in dirty dishes and nobody to clear those, Manager running around lost, attempting to clear tables himself, while his employees watching him with smile and chatting with each other. We were given table after 10 min wait, ordered hamburgers and left to wait for food for 40 min. Food arrived overcooked and greasy, beef patties totally charred and solid as rubber. All three orders were sent back. We could not afford to wait for replacement anymore and left. Multiple people at location were returning food and just leaving. On the way out told manager about food quality, he immediately offered refund without even listening the fact that we did not get any food to start with. read more
