Oh. my. lord. the people here are absolutely amazing! Me and my friend dressed up and SpongeBob and Squidward as a joke to pass the time and wanted to order pizza. I made a small joke about SpongeBob in the order and the people working there made our pizza SpongeBob themed!! They were so unbelievably kind, very down to earth and fun. This placed USED to be amazing (althought the VH one was always miles better for some reason)...like, one of my favorite pizza joints ever. Management changed, food is repulsive, people don't answer the phone in English, staffs tries to add weird stuff you didn't ask for to your pizza and also try to make you get a large so that you spend more money AND don't even know the names of many pizza toppings. Let me preface this review by saying that I live in NYC. Which is known for it's great bagels and pizzas. I had the veggie Alfredo pizza and it just didn't hit the spot for me. The pizzas here are not bad, but they're not NYC great.... I normally don't eat pizzas outside of NYC for this same reason. However, I was hungry and waiting for my friend to finish her message. Wolfs den used to be my familys favorite pizza but after months of "maybe they had an off night" we are officially done wasting our money. They are under new ownership and the quality has tanked tremendously. The pizzas are different every time you order. Their specialty pizzas online are always different from what you get. Ordering over the phone can be very difficult, it seems like the person taking the call doesn't understand what your asking for or even aware of what is on the menu. Absolutely ridiculous. The worst service I have ever experienced. There was no communication between any of the workers. Called to place an order, was put on hold for 10 minutes and never taken off hold. Went down to the restaurant to place my order in person, and they still had the phone off the hook - with me STILL on hold. When i started putting in my order, they got another phone call, ignored me and took that phone order. Finally put in my order for 4 subs. They had a dedicated person making subs and it still took them 45 minutes to fill the order. Got the order and it wasn't even correct. read more

I bought pizza on the 4th of July for my family at this place. I'm gluten free so didn't even get to eat any. We were a group of 10 from all over the country and EVERYONE and I mean everyone LOVED the pizza. I got the meat lovers, regular cheese and mushroom with onion versions. All of them were gobbled up. I have never given 5 stars for pizza and this a well earned 5 stars. My brother in law went back for two consecutive days after the 4th to relive his yummy meal. He was not disappointed. This place was really stupid and lost our business. They have 2 locations and as a tourist I mistakenly ordered from the wrong location. When I realized my mistake I called and told them to cancel my order. The correct location refused to make the order for me unless I paid for both orders. Makes no sense and poor business rule. This was terrible service!! We were waiting an hour and a half only to be told they have not even begun our order! Then they fulfill five orders in front of us after we paid! Absolute horrible service and terrible communication. The phone lines were down and holding many people on hold for more than an hour. Pizza is okay, but it's not worth inconveniencing the staff to get it to begin with. Although their hours are posted between 9 and 9:30 depending on the app you use, you need to start calling around 8:30 to start the negotiation process to make sure the staff hasn't ducked out for the evening already. Be prepared to get sweared at because you made them work their full shift. I'm going to the other pizza place around the corner for equally good pizza and much friendlier staff. read more

Average pizza served with a side of attitude. Definitely never coming back. I called in to report the rude customer service and was surprised to find that the manager herself (Brittany) was the one serving tude. Not only did she not apologize but instead she doubled down and defended her rude behavior. If you order a cheese and pepperoni pizza every day for a week...you will never have the same pizza twice....the only consistency in all the pizzas you get will be an extremely small amount of toppings....Even if you order double toppings... stay away and get a DiGiorno at Stop and Shop!!!! read more

This place deserves a zero even more after the obnoxious comment from the owner. I am by no means a "Yelp warrior." I am a normal consumer who eats out a lot, both at home and on vacation. My opinion (as well as that of my husband, sister and daughter) remains the same - the pizza was terrible. We were there mid-day on a weekend and it was slow. A few people were in and out, but it was not crazy, busy or particularly hot even though it was hot as hell inside. Unfortunately we took our pizza to go or rest assured, I would have complained in person. I eat a lot of pizza. This pizza was bottom 10%. I am sorry that offends the owner, but facts are facts. The crust was overcooked to the point that it was almost impossible to bite off, and yet especially the pesto pizza dough was raw. The toppings left much to be desired and the buffalo chicken had a funky taste. And... we had to wait about 25 minutes for said pizzas. I am happy to give good reviews when they are warranted, but they were not here. The Vineyard during the summer is what it is, but good food is still good food. Spending $40+ dollars on two small pizzas and a salad that were all subpar is disappointing to say the very least and the owner's response says everything you need to know about this place. read more
