FINALLY got around to trying this place since it opened and it was well worth it! The atmosphere is bright and open, with long tables that would be perfect for a larger party if they allow it. I also love the earthy feel, with real plants lining the top of the wall as a focal point. Our meals were delicious- I ordered the grilled duck sandwich because I can never resist duck on a menu! The side salad option was light and paired well, but I prefer a mixed green selection over arugula. The service was also wonderful, with all of the staff being very polite and attentive. As I've already recommended this place to a few friends for a fresh lunch or brunch, I look forward to visiting again soon! read more

So I thought lets try a new Brunch place today. We arrived around eleven on Sunday thinking no issues right. As we walked in the place it was packed the hostess said do you have a reservation? I informed her we didn't but would even sit at the bar if we had to. She ended up putting us at the end of another table which was fine. So make sure you make a reservation because the food is worth it. Started out with the Doughnuts, with sugared Eggnog whipped cream. These were crispy on the outside but, and soft on the inside. As a starter they were the perfect size to start the brunch out with. Moving on to the main course I asked the sever Steak and Eggs or Chicken sandwich? She said well both are good but you can only get Steak and Eggs on Brunch menu. (good to know) The steak was a Culotte steak (top sirloin) with a beef rub on it flavored nicely. It came with a small side salad and 2 duck eggs. The has brown was only thing I didn't care for too greasy, and tasted burnt. The Croque Madame sandwich was perfectly constructed. It started with Brioche bread, ham and Swiss cheese with a Dijonnaise sauce and of course a sunny side up duck egg. This also came with thin cut garlic fries! I do want to state the the Chicken sandwich came out to the table next to us and it's huge. I can't wait to visit again to try that sandwich as well as a few other items on the menu. Started with a flight of stouts, brown ales. Excellent beers. Great bouquets of favor. Not your normal run of the mill beers. But stop, i didn't expect the food. I had the pork belly salmon. Unbelievable! The fillet was huge, and cooked perfectly. I travel a lot, this was the best salmon I've ever had. I love this restaurant. We went after a dress rehearsal for a play at the Ohio Theate. They always have amazing food and excellent servers.

We visited the Tap Room on a Friday night for dinner and some beers and really loved this place. We started off with a couple of flights, and the bartender was more than willing to talk us through some of the beers as we were selecting them (I know flights are a pain in the a** on busy nights so that was appreciated). My favorite beers were the Beyond Measuer witbier and the Daybreak coffee vanilla cream ale. The food was outstanding! Easily the best I have had inside of a brewery/taproom. We had the chicken quesadilla which was very spicy but one of the best 'dillas I have had, and the fried chicken sandwich which was incredible. Very crispy, good buffalo sauce and blue cheese. For sides we had french fries and pork rinds which were both good, and it was fun to have pork rinds as you rarely see those on a menu. read more

My husband and I were making our way from the West Coast to the East Coast and ended up staying in Ohio for the night. We were famished and wanted to get a quick bite close to our hotel. We stopped by Wolf's Ridge Brewing. Upon entering, we were not greeted and we had to randomly go up to someone in hopes that they actually worked there and weren't customers themselves. Luckily, our first guess was correct and we were told we could sit anywhere so we chose the bar. The woman working behind the bar didn't really seem to want to be there and the only time I really saw her smile was when she was talking to her coworkers. Honestly, it's not that big of a deal to me so long as you can get us what we want in a reasonable time, but I know this would be an issue for others. My husband ordered a flight and picked a few different beers. He enjoyed those. For dinner, he got the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I got a Duck Sandwich. The chicken and duck were both on the dry side. However, the flavors of the duck sandwich was really good so it helped alleviate the overcooking of the meat. The fries were ok, a bit too overcooked for me. However, if you're just looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat and don't care about friendly service, then this is an ok place to go. read more

I ordered the duck breast and my husband ordered the bucatini. Duck breast was just...ok. Flavor was missing on the duck, and the only thing that helped was the cherry sauce. My husbands bucatini was so bland and the clams were over cooked. We tried one beer and it was not great. I get that it's a brewery, but there weren't much wine options either. I was so impressed with Wolf's Ridge! The dining room offers a lovely ambiance with an incredibly unique menu. We enjoyed the classic cocktails Pendergast and Bensonhurst - both delicious. A small plate we shared was the Tuna Watermelon Poke with red & green onion, mint, micro cilantro, serrano, ponzu, wantons and sticky rice. The other small plate we shared was the roasted Corn Salad with fried cheese curds, mustard greens, lemon aioli, pickled shallots, corn vinaigrette and corn tortilla strips. The large plate we also shared. This huge portion of Flat Iron Steak was cooked exactly as ordered - medium rare. The steak was seasoned very well and topped with a poblano pimento cheese butter and ancho whiskey barbecue sauce with a well balanced and seasoned Texas style hominy. Incredible flavor combinations! I also enjoyed a glass of Casa Ferreiringa Papa Figos Red Blend from Portugal. It's definitely the best blend I have ever tasted! After dinner we sat in the taproom and shared a couple flights and then some full pours of our favorites. This brewery makes some incredible craft beers! I was so happy to meet the lead packaging operator - Stephen, who shared his passion for the complete operation of this brewery and I enjoyed learning from him. First off, would like to say thank you for accommodating our blogger brunch last weekend. I had never been to this establishment before but after my experience on Sunday, I will definitely be back. The hardest part was picking what I wanted to eat. Everything looked so good. I ended up picking the french toast and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It was all I could ever want and more. Came here for a date night with my partner. We both have dietary restrictions, I don't eat red meat or pork and he is vegetarian, and this place ended up being great for us. We enjoyed the corn succotash as an appetizer and we both ordered the falafel burger as our meal. The succotash was fresh, but nothing to die for. I went to Wolfs Ridge for a night out with a friend and to check out the new summer menu and boy was I impressed! It was very busy, seeing that we went on a Friday night during restaurant week but we were easily sat with our reservation. The server was very prompt at making sure we had drinks and going over the menu. We were wanting to try so much on the menu so we decided to split the chefs tasting and than add shishito peppers and the lemon cheesecake onto that. The chefs tasting was $65 and $10 more with beer pairing. The chefs tasting consisted of tomato and watermelon salad, tuna ceviche, sun chokes and sunflower, Marquez sausage, and a pina colada dessert. Everything coming out of the kitchen was perfectly timed and the server took a minute to go through each dish with us and explain everything! Now the food was absolutely amazing, I loved every single bite. I'm someone who absolutely hates fish, let alone did I ever think I would eat raw fish. I decided with how good everything was tasting I might as well give the tuna ceviche a try and wow, that's probably the first time I could ever eat a whole plate of fish. I don't have to tell you how awesome this place is. But let me tell you how awesome this place is. Every. Damn. Time. The food here is some of the best in town. Definitely top 5. But what makes them even more special than just the food being consistently spectacular is 2 things: 1- it's always changing. The chefs are all always pushing themselves and putting out new menu items to reflect the season and growing trends. Case in point: each entree we had tonight featured a pea and spongecake (respectively) paired with a rich tapestry of tastes and textures that pair perfectly. 2- It's casual enough that the dudes in heavy metal t-shirts, a guy in scrubs, ladies in heels, a few in graphic tees, and a group in office attire all looked and felt right in place. I think the fact that it's a brewery makes that possible in a way. Plus the beer Oh the beer. We have a lot of options these days and they kill it. The food and atmosphere are better than my score. Every time I spoke with the bartender, she was looking over my head. I did not feel there was any connection. There are 2 entrances. The street entrance goes into the restaurant and the alley entrance goes directly to the bar/beer hall. This is a craft brewery. There were around 30 beers on tap in different styles/flavors. I tried several and could spend an afternoon trying more. Flights are a great way to accomplish tastings here and the servers can recommend a preferred drinking order. Enjoy. The menu is progressive, well beyond simple burger and fries bar menus. I had the duck melt and enjoyed it. Food is presented as well as any restaurant does and you will want to finish every bite. Heart gush - I love this restaurant, it is truly beautiful. I've used this space for several events. The restaurant is in the front and you can reserve large or small tables, or you can rent our the whole bar in the back. The menu is so so creative, food is always perfect and service is great. They handle big groups very well, the staff is so professional. Even if you just stop in for beer or dessert, this place is definitely worth checking out at least once. read more

This place is just blocks from our house, but it's taken us forever to try it. We finally did and it was so worth it! We went for restaurant week so I got to try three courses. I started off with the grilled sourdough with whipped butter. It was quite tasty since I'm obsessed with bread, but I kinda wish I would have tried the corn bisque instead. It was tasty though. For dinner I got the scallops and I cannot say enough good things about this meal. It's all the favs of sushi (so I'm told). It had amazing flavor, ample portion, and cooked just right. For dessert I got the sweet corn panna cotta and I loved it. It was an amazing bite every time of sweet and tart. I highly recommend! Overall the experience is great! Parking sucks! Period. Our server was a little pretentious and for absolutely no reason. I get it when folks go to a nice restaurant and bitch about pricing, but that wasn't us. Just a side note, I ended up in the tasting room. The space is very open, spacious, clean and overall the ambiance is welcoming. There are two tvs over the bar which is nice if you're just stopping in for a beer. I tried a few of the beers before getting a pint of the Snow Cone- extra pale ale. The bar tender was very patient with me trying a few beers before landing on the Snow Cone, he also helped me figure out what would taste the best for me. For food I got the salad with strawberries, nuts and goat cheese with some chicken. It was the perfect size dinner for me. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try Wolf's Ridge! My boyfriend and I went for brunch around 11am on a Saturday morning. It was pretty crowded already, and we were seated at one of the community tables. It looks as though they have a few of those, so if you don't like sitting with strangers I'd suggest getting there early or making a reservation. I ordered a beermosa (freshly squeeze OJ.. yes please) and the toad in a hole for breakfast. The food was great- a perfect combo of sweet (the sauce) and savory. Bae ordered a Bloody Mary, which I typically don't like, but it was definitely one of the better ones I've tasted. He also got the chicken sandwich (which I stole a bite of) which was also rather delicious. I'll definitely be back to Wolf's Ridge, next time for dinner and to check out the tap room! read more
