Today I built my own Pop Salad with grilled chicken and Green Goddess dressing, and it was just as good. Both were fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. After seeing some of the negative reviews, I'm honestly scratching my head because my experience has been the complete opposite. Wow! This was my friend and my first time ordering from Wonder. Impressed by the convenience and variety offered. Reasonable for the costs; especially when you use a coupon on your first order. Highly recommend Alanza pizza, arguably the best thing I've had from Wonder. Butter chicken from Dabba was not great, neither were mozzarella sticks. Go with chicken pad Thai from SriPraPhai. Room for Dessert was kinda a rip off, but WingTrip's garlic parm wings are killer! Very hit or miss. Overall a great experience I got thai from the food all ordered from the app for pick up. I got three items a beef curry a green curry with shrimp and papaya salad The red beef curry was the best item it had a great flavor rich and savory with tender slices of beef. It has a vegetables and peanuts adding great texture. The green curry tasted great nice and spicy with rich coconut milk and vegetables adding great texture. The shrimp tasted pretty bland unfortunately and I would only get this dish with tofu or chicken in the future. The papaya salad was a big disappointment it's one of my favorite dishes. Overall it was very bland there was little seasoning to it. It needed chili to balance out the sweetness. I wouldn't order this again. read more

Really darn tasty! Food- I got marcus Samelson wings and fries combo. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned the fries as well. A friend got the tenders and those were nice too. Concept-Love the eclectic chefs and different types of food. There was pizza, sushi, Thai, wings, sandwiches, poke bowls, salads, tacos, noodles, bbq and so much more. Well seasoned, good portion sizes and awesome that you can order dumplings and brisket in the same order from different spots !!! Ordering- the app is easy to navigate and love all the offerings and different restaurants participating. Delivery- I placed my order in the app and within an hour a man on a scooter had my food at the entrance of my office. I wish I could give this place negative stars for their association with LimeSalt. Revolting. In the burrito bowl I ordered for delivery from LimeSalt tonight, there was a disgusting mix of uncooked rice and scorched rice scraped off the bottom of the pan--hard to say which I preferred less. Besides the god awful food this place is a health hazard 1- lime salt: Got lime salt during a soft opening event. It took over an hour and a half to get food (was supposed to be 25-30 min). The portions are insanely small (about half the size of a chiptole bowl). Flavor was ok, I'd give 3 stars for flavor but I'd never go here over chiptole. 2- tejal bbq. Got the BBQ sandwich. It was insanely small and so tough it wasn't edible. I ended up throwing it out. Thankfully I just had used promotional credit for that from the opening. 3. My husband during the opening got streetbird. That again was absolutely horrible and we threw that away as well. It tasted like old heated up chicken. Only thing mildly ok from that order was the slaw on the side. 4. Sripraphai - Thai food. We got the pineapple fried rice with chicken. Meat tasted old and kind of bad? Inside is spacious with 4 tables and window counter seating, 12 seats total. Another friend we were with ordered 2 minutes after us and waited over an hour for their food before cancelling their order. Customer service gave them a refund plus $15 credit, but they're not sure they'll be back. The food itself was alright; to be fair, mine said it was ready at 12:16 PM and I picked it up about 10 minutes after that so maybe it's much better fresh. They gave me 1/3 ranch cups. read more

I love this small food hall. I've ordered a few times from the different restaurants featured. Everything is cooked to perfection. You can order via the app or inside at the kiosks. The handling of my food is with care. And the person giving out the food checked in to make sure all was well. One of my favorite menu items is the chicken sandwich - it's lightly fried but has so much flavor. The Mac and cheese is special also because it has collards in it. Wonder repeatedly markets itself as a food hall, but nothing about the experience matches what a real food hall actually is. A real food hall has: * Multiple independent vendors * Food cooked fresh on site by skilled chefs * A place you actually want to sit, hang out, and eat * Thoughtful design, atmosphere, and energy Wonder has none of that. This is a single mega-corporation running a centralized ghost kitchen. The "restaurants" are just brands. The food is mass-produced offsite, shipped in, and reheated by fast-food workers. There are no chefs cooking for you. The food quality was mediocre at best--roughly on par with low-quality fast food, except slower and more expensive. Honestly, for a fraction of the price, I could walk across the street to Trader Joe's, buy a frozen meal, microwave it, and get the same quality. The space itself confirms they don't actually want you to eat there: * Almost no indoor seating * A handful of tables with zero ambiance * Looks and feels like a fast-food kitchen, not a destination * Even when eating inside, food is packaged entirely as takeout Nothing about the environment is pleasant or social. No vibe. No design. No reason to linger. Even the packaging was disappointing--cheap plastic fast-food containers and cutlery. If you're calling yourself a "food hall," you'd expect at least modern compostable packaging or some attention to presentation. Instead, it felt disposable and generic. I really want to like this place because the concept could work. Unfortunately, two of the three times we ordered food we received the wrong meals. The other order was an expedited order from a wrong order and it was horrible. We went for a walk on a beautiful fall afternoon in DC, decided to try this place we had seen advertised everywhere. It can be hard for us to agree on food, so a place with so many different options was amazing. Tried Wonder Hall for the first time and was disappointed. I ordered the Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I felt the Pad Thai noodles were dry, or not cooked right (still a little hard) but also some of the noodles on the end were straight burned. The rice was okay. I just felt that both dishes lacked flavor and that it came from a microwaveable dinner that you could buy at Trader Joe's. Basically I wasn't impressed enough to eat here again which will probably be good for my wallet. The Tejas pastrami sandwich was legit, with a good slather of brown mustard. Fred's bacon cheeseburger was as good as when I enjoyed them living in Atlanta. The Streebird onion rings with Marcus's light spicing were light, tasty and yummy, didn't need the sauce. It's was 8p, Sat, when we went and they were out of pizza and also out of my favorite outside of Philly, Philly: Fred's cheesesteak sandwich that I use to devour in Atlanta.
