These "Wonder Food Halls" are popping-up all over the place - including in New Jersey - so I had to see what all the intrigue was about. I'm one person, I do not need to mix-n-match my menu, so I just ordered a simple Cheeseburger Detroit-style Pizza, from "Detroit Brick Pizza Co." - the ghost-kitchen in said-Wonder Food Hall. It arrived in about 30 min. (not bad...), but for a price point of $18.45 --- I thought it would be "more". It had all the elements you'd expect, but to have "Detroit" in your name, and I can find better "Detroit pies" in Hackensack or Chatham --- I'm okay. It was a nice experiment, but I'm gonna chose local businesses over "that". It was a square, not a rectangle. Pizza was more focaccia then anything. Very disappointed with the service of this Midland park Wonder. 2nd time here and once again a 15 min wait for an online order. The app tells you when its ready, uh nope. When you get there at the designated time it not ready and you will wait 15 min. When i bring this issue up to not one, not two, but three Wonder employees and explain this to them all i get is blank stares. You know, the kind of look that screams " We dont give f**ck!" The food is cold, sub par both times i've been there. I wanted so much to like this place because it's a great concept but its just not worth the agrivation. WONDER, DO BETTER! read more

Watch out US of A. This is the next big culinary delight coming to a city near you. Founded by a billionaire and with locations only in the NE, Wonder is the best of many worlds. Wonder runs kitchens with diverse menus allowing you to order a variety of food that's delivered or picked up in a single order. Menus are sourced from top chefs like Bobby Flay and Jose Andres. Food selection spans the gamut and gets expanded and adjusted. In fact, chefs themselves have been known to stop in to order for quality control checks. This means the kids can get their pizza and burger while you get a medium rare steak or branzino with delicious salad. I often order a salad from one menu, main dish from another, and an appetizer from yet another. I've used them many times. Orders are accurate, fast, and food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend a try, and guarantee it winter be once. FYI - Wonder also recently acquired GrubHub and Blue Apron. read more

It's not worth it. The quality is all over the place and generally leans toward being poor. I've ordered here about 10 times because when they opened the deals were crazy. Most of the food feels heavily processed. The poke bowl is probably the best thing on the menu, but even that is inconsistent. Without discounts, the prices are exorbitant. I gave a 2 star rating b/c they NEVER include the extra dressing requested when I order a bowl from Royal Greens. Ordered 3 times from here through Grub Hub. It shows on the receipt (2) and yet whoever fills the order can't see fit to fill it correctly. The bowls are good, but one little dressing doesn't cover that bowl. I wish the person in charge would look over orders before sending them out for delivery. I guess it's back to Salad House for me. read more

I ordered a chicken bowl. The delivery person brought me the wrong order. I told him it wasn't right, then someone called me, fixed the issue, and brought me my correct order. I open it up to find that my chicken bowl doesn't have any chicken on it, so it's literally just rice and some sparse toppings. We play trivia across the street from this Wonder outpost. It's great to have a place with a bunch of different food options to choose from so close by. I'm a big fan of the Poke Bowl. I ordered the tuna, which is generously portioned and has a number of flavours, textures and colours in the order. Very fresh and filling. The fries were really good too: thick-cut, the right amount of salt and cooked to the point of crispy but not over done. I look forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

The concept is great. A delivery from a food court essentially. If you have a family like mine, you are constantly make different dinners for everyone on any given day. It's such a hassle. We tried the wonder plus free trial which gives you free and fast deliveries for a month. We really enjoyed it. Our orders usually included tacos, a Philly cheese steak, a salad, and Greek bowl. There are plenty more options. We usually spend around 50-70$ which isn't bad. It is great but I wouldn't do it daily. Overall, happy with it except for a handful of times when an order was delivered with some mistakes. read more

I was so excited when I first ordered a poke bowl from Wonder--it was perfect, absolutely chef's kiss. The second time, it was just as good, and I thought I had found my new go-to spot. But the third time was a complete disappointment. The portion was skimpy, with just a thin sheet of rice and not perfectly cooked, salmon pieces got smaller and the shallots were tough and chewy. I didn't enjoy the meal, my brother purchased it again on the same and said the same thing "why did they become stingy with the quantity". I'm so upset and disappointed. I've had many food experiences and one of my top favs is from Burger Baby with their Gluten Free burger. Get this- they press the GF bread with melted cheese into the burger. Are you drooling yet? I've had the Mexican, Lime Salt (Chipotle clone) and it was solid. I would say if Chipotle is a 10, this is about an 8/9 and since we don't have a Chipotle around, this is a great option for that flavor. I have also had Fred's Meat and Bread which should be titled "Microwave Meat", clearly stuff taken out of a fridge and served heat and eat at fresh food prices. The steak and cheese tasted good, but the texture was off due to the obvious microwave heating of the bread and meat. The garlic fries were worse than most fast food establishments. We have been ordering from Midland Park, NJ Wonder since it opened. We are mostly pleased with what we receive. The concept of Wonder is great!...everyone can order from a different restaurant under one roof. This is the second order however, it seems the kitchen is rushing a bit to put the order together...just minor but salad was missing an ingredient and the greens were left gigunda.
