Terrible. I asked for coffin shaped and got square. The polish on my middle finger was smeared and the tech didn't even notice. He took very little pride in his work. Rushed. Not friendly. I knew it was going to be a bad experience the moment I walked in and they started gossiping. I got a mani and a pedi and they still somehow managed to mess it up. They didn't even try to hide the fact that they were talking about me and made me feel really uncomfortable. if i could give zero stars. i would. i have never written a review on anything. but the owner did my nails "tony" yesterday and charged 40 dollars for my regular nail dip powder. at first it was nice but like 5 hours later i noticed that my nails had cracked... i went to repot it in person and he saud he could fix it at a discount... never minding the fact that it hadnt even been 24 hours. he used cheap stuff on my nails. and refused to give me my money back,fix my nails, or give me a certificate he wanted to charge me and he said he needed to make my nails thicker... which to me they were already thick .... never again .. your nails will be nice for a day but forget the next.....cheap materials and they charge expensive they are just making money out of whatever they can... so insulting. save your money and go elsewhere read more

Nicole works wonders. She is one of the best nail techs I've ever had. I moved to Merced for college and I'd go almost a month with my nail set because I hated going to anyone else. She does stellar work. She also does my eyebrows and is the best at it. The great thing about her is that she takes her time. She is never in a rush, she's such a hard worker. If you haven't gotten your nails done with her you're missing out. Once you go with Nicole you can't go back. Make sure you book an appointment ahead of time with her because she does get booked pretty quick. As for pedicures, Sean is amazing. He makes sure he gets every spot, never rushes his work. Makes you feel comfortable and loves a good chat. You don't have to make appointments for a pedicure you can sit down and they get you on the spot. But Sean's work is amazing. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I have nothing bad to say about the staff of service. read more

I went to this place yesterday because it had good reviews. I got a pedicure. It was fine enough. I said that I would come back today to get a set of nails. I usually do acrylic, however when I had spoken to them on the phone they recommended gel with tips. I phoned today to make an appt. and confirm the type of nails and price. Sean answered the phone and actually handed the phone to someone else when I asked him to confirm the price. So I had to go over the whole nail conversation again. This time was with Tony. I tried to explain what THEY had previously said they prefer to do for a set. IE gel sets. I usually do acrylics. He was shockingly rude and insulting. To the point I almost lost my temper. I told him I had been there yesterday and now I was done and hung up. I agree with the reviews that say they don't really care about customers, just the money, and get upgrades, etc. Rude. Ungrateful. I will give my money to others who appreciate it. Rotten. read more

Excellent pedicure by Wendy! Impressive. My only complaint was food smells. Someone was cooking or heating shrimp in the back and it was stinking up the whole place. I may not go back just based on that because it made me nauseaus. Other than that it is would definitely recommend. read more

Update: 1/4/17 - I have decided to get acrylic nails. Michael is still my nail professional. As I stated before, I have terrible nails and work with a lot of water and other art materials. I've had acrylics in the past and inevitably, I broke a nail or more often, they started lifting around the edges, which is bad for me because I am a picker. I have no such problems now and can go every three weeks if I like. I try to get there every two weeks because I get tired of the same color after that time. These people are great. Again, everyone is nice, professional and they do great work. I have bad nails, so I'm reluctant to get manicures. I did make an appointment here for the first time about 3 months ago and have been going regularly for a pedicure ever since. While my fingernails are hopeless and will always be, I do enjoy a pedicure. Michael was assigned to me the first time and I really like him. He is a timid, unassuming man, but he has great attention to detail and goes about his business quietly and professionally. I request him as my nail professional when I go there. Also, I see good results and lots of happy customers from those who prefer a fancier manicure with designs, acrylic and/or gel nails. Everyone gets a good job here. They are nice people and their prices seem fair too. I recommend trying them so you can see for yourself. read more

Have been trying unsuccessfully to find a good neighborhood pedicure place for the last year. After reading the reviews I thought I would give this place a try. What a breath of fresh air! A place that didn't make you feel like you were being rushed through to make room for someone else. The girls didn't seem to speak English very well but seemed intent on wanting to please. I had a problem with the nails on my big toes so the young girl went & got a gentleman to help. He was very good and didn't make it seem like a big deal. She did a nice job on the pedicure -- although the leg massage was short. The place was spacious & clean & there were regular clients there -- so that tells me people are happy with their work.
