Unfortunately, our last visit changed our opinion completely. I watched the barista drop the ice scoop on the floor, pick it up, and then immediately use it to scoop ice into my drink. When I politely asked her to remake it, I was met with a passive-aggressive attitude. Mistakes happen, but using a utensil off the floor in a customer's drink should never be acceptable in food service--especially right in front of the customer. It also makes me question what kind of food-safety training employees receive. And this is exactly why I dislike being asked to tip before receiving the service. It's disappointing because we really liked this place and had been coming here for years. But after seeing this, we won't be coming back.
