A trip next door to pick up running shoes led to an impromptu stop for waffles. I suppose I could justify a calorie splurge since I was buying exercise shoes. . We shared a sweet waffle stuffed with Nutella, Strawberries, Kiwi, Bananas and a generous shower of powdered sugar. It even came with my name written on the platter using chocolate drizzle. Truth be told, we had tried to visit the pretzel shop just a few doors down only to find that it has since closed. Imagine our delight when we realized that sweet and savory waffles were just a step away. Divine intervention perhaps? Regardless of what brought us here, I'm so glad we stopped. This little waffle shop is perfect for a date, a Coffee meeting, dessert for the kids if they finish their homework, or a last minute 2 PM snack. With plenty of savory options as well as sweet options, we opted for a classic choice and it was big enough for us to share. The environment is very European and gives off an eclectic vibe. There's plenty of seating and it's very IG worthy. They have a Yelp event coming up next week. So heads up to RSVP for that event. We will definitely be back to try some of their other selections. Maybe this time we won't share.

Delightful little place! You order at the counter and if you dine-in, they bring your food to you, on real serve wear and with your name written in chocolate! It is cute and comfortable inside. The owners were so kind and genuinely wanted to be sure we liked our lunch. She told me there are 50 of these in Europe, but only 2 here in the US! I ordered the Italian--it was mozzarella, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, olives, and delicious. The others in my group ordered the sweet waffles and loved them as well.

The food was pretty good! I didn't have a sweet waffle, so I'd definitely try that next time. It was a little strange having a waffle with savory flavors, but it was good! It's always fun to try something different, and this place definitely delivers! The woman working was so kind, friendly, and helpful! The atmosphere was nice as well, a very cute little place.

Had the pleasure of visiting @wonderwaffel_florida in West Tampa this past weekend and met up with one of the owners Marina. Such a wonderful person and hostess. Coincidentally, they happen to be celebrating their 2 year anniversary since they open and we celebrated with their delicious PB Strawberry Waffle along with a Mocha Frappe. But the best the part was thier Unicorn Shake made up of Strawberry and Raspberry. They will be selling this shake for a limited time so come by and try it out. It's so delicious

Grilled cheese and ham!!

I stopped in WonderWaffel right before a hair appt. I had limited time and I needed to fill up my belly before sitting in a chair for the next 3 to 4 hours. I didn't particularly want a dessert but the window full of gelato was tempting. I was delighted to learn that they serve some (albeit limited) lunch options. They had a couple of cheese options (mozzarella and American); I went with a grilled American cheese and added ham to my sandwich. Other add ons included bacon and one more that has escaped my memory. They had a couple of dipping options so I opted for the honey mustard. The panini was delicious! I look forward to returning to try out some of their delicious looking waffles!

Strawberry sundae

This is a cute shop with countless sweet and savory treats. There's a display of numerous gelato flavors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the strawberry sundae and a cheese melt from their special. My partner ordered a cappuccino as well that came with the cutest mini ice cream cone on the side. He also got the cherry waffle which was so good and rich. My sundae came and it was so good and fresh with the fresh cut fruit and freshly made whipped cream . The strawberry sorbet was refreshing and light . Our cheese melt was ok, the pesto is what gave it flavor. I would definitely return and try one of the sweet or savory waffle dishes

Pros: Cute interior. The owner and staff were very helpful in choosing what to get. The presentation of the waffle and the milkshake were excellent. I m not a big Instagrammer, but these were social media worthy! The name on the plate is very cute and distinctive idea! Open till 9 pm even on Sundays! The fruit pieces inside the waffle were fresh. Some places that serve fruit usually do it as an afterthought and use fruit that is going to spoil soon (et Tu Publix?) MY waffle had kiwi, strawberry, bananas and all were very tasty. 9/10 The wonder shake inolves you picking an ice cream flavor (Vanilla/Chocolate/Strawberry) and a candy. I picked Ferrerro Rocher bc that's not something I see as an option for milkshakes. The actual shake tasted a lot less artifical than most fast food places and there were a good amount of Rocher candy pieces in it. 8.5/10 Cons: I wish it was open at 10 am ? Lol This is a very cute dessert/breakfast spot. They also serve gelato/coffee/savory waffles! This is only located in Houston Tx and Germany. Im glad this is in Tampa and somewhat close to me!

This place never disappoints. WonderWaffel leaves me feeling WONDERFULL. Came in on Mother's Day for dessert on the way home from dinner. We ordered the cherry bomb waffle and ate there. OMGOSH!! This was BOMB!! The waffle was warm and fresh, the cherry filling was warm and soft. And it was topped with delicious vanilla ice cream!! Like eating my favorite pie but in a waffle!! If you haven't been here I suggest you ruuunnnnn to try it out!! This is our new addiction.....no wonder my pants are tight.

ferrero rocher milk shake with vanilla and a shot of expresso! Absolutely delicious!

Love this place. Monday is BoGo on shakes! I always get a custom made shake with a shot of expresso for a pick me up and I absolutely love it! Must try if you want to treat yourself to something sweet!

We just happened upon this place when Bonefish Grill's dessert menu mostly had tree nuts and could not confirm which nuts were in the dessert. Then when I ordered a cappuccino, their espresso machine was broken. NOTE: I'm allergic to hazelnuts and walnuts. We were a group of 8 and most wanted after lunch espresso. My husband turned to yelp and found Wonder Waffles less than 5 minutes away. I ordered the Oreo Sundae because... uummm hello?! SO PRETTY! The rest of the gang ordered the espresso, which came with a mini ice cream cone. Everything was delicious! It's really such a cute spot located in between a bunch of shops and restaurants on N. Dale Mabry.

O...M...G...I relaly like this place and it's food. Even though I am supposed to try to stick to keto, this place is like crack for me, Wife has to tell me no and not let me go. But she likes it too so it's not an easy battle for either of us....lol. I'd give this a solid 4.5 stars based on my experiences thus far. I've had the classic waffle, apple pie, and mint chocolate chip sundae. All three are great flavors with different combos of ingredients. My favorite so far is the classic, which is nutella, bananas, strawberries, and kiwi on a fresh made waffle. I could eat this everyday if I was allowed to. I liked the apple pie one, BUT I would suggest one change. The apples are sliced and cold. Try changing them to a warm compote type topping or baked apples. This would really enhance the flavor profile much better then just plain apple slices folded into the waffle. One thing to keep in mind...these desserts will feed two people for sure, no matter which one you get. Could you eat it by yourself? Yes, but is it good for you? Probably not. And anyways, it's always nicer to share with a friend. If you have a sweet tooth like I do, I definitely recommend you check this place out!

I'm not a waffle/pancake kinda girl, but Babie this was awesome. I got the tropical waffle.. mango, kiwi, pineapple with a sprinkle of coconut, was soooo good The ladies was awesome, the asked us what type music we want to listen to. They was very welcoming. Ambiance is amazing for sure a great place for selfies..

This spot has the best waffles I've ever had! The owner Marina was so sweet and it's family owned so go check them out! They have everything from ice cream, shakes, sandwiches! A lot of families were here and the vibe was so calming I could stay there for hours. Visit my food page on Instagram for more: @hotgirlfoodies !

If you're driving on north Dale Mabry in Tampa... and you see the Carrollwood Village neighborhood…read moreentrance- make a safe uturn and head in. Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? Maybe!!! I'lll report back!

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!

The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part.
