Small place, interior is pretty clean, order beef broccoli off Yelp menu $11.95 end up at pick up was $18.95 plus tax close to $20 for a beef broccoli personally feels is overpriced. They should take down old menu picture instead misleading customers.

Lots of quick lunch options in the area but this one provides great service, large portions and authentic flavors. We ordered the sesame chicken, house fried rice and the beef noodles. The beef noodles were like I had stepped into China. I used to have that dish once a week when I was there, and haven't found a place that does justice until I ate here. The beef was soft and super flavorful like it had been cooking all day! Price is good, and on a cold day-this is a must! Sesame chicken was nice with broccoli but the house fried rice was even better, it comes with shrimp, beef and chicken. Lots of flavor and the service was awesome. Summer time looks like there is outdoor seating-can't wait to come back.

Wong's Kitchen was a nice stop on a cold afternoon in Providence. There was no line and quick service. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We ordered veggie pho, beef pho, and the spicy wings. The pho comes with all the fixings on the side - bean sprouts, lime, mint, Sriracha, and a sweet brown sauce. The veggie pho was full of vegetables but no tofu, I didn't see tofu anywhere on the menu which would've been a nice addition for some protein. The beef pho had tasty broth but the meat itself didn't seem very fresh. Both pho's had a big serving of noodles and neither of us were able to finish. The wings were crispy and flavorful and not fatty, but not very spicy IMO. The place was clean, quick, and tasty. There was no line or wait like other similar restaurants nearby.

My husband and I could not stop thinking about this style food all week. So when Saturday rolled around, we had to order enough food for an entire family...for the two of us ;) We ordered pork fried rice, General tsos chicken, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and a side of broccoli. They gave us 4 forks, people. When we got home, I realized the broccoli I ordered was smothered in the garlic sauce (which I asked to not have!) I was bummed because it was $10 for this and I couldn't eat any of it...and it was too late to go back at that point. So I called and received a call back from the manager minutes later and he took it right off our bill. I am okay with a business that makes a mistake, apologizes, and takes care of it. Shows integrity and now I know that I'll definitely be back time and time again (after checking my order before leaving hehe). Everything was delicious. Way better than a lot of places I've tried. The chicken was fresh and void of that soggy/greasy feel that other places have. Spring rolls were fantastic and the crab Rangoon was stuffed. Everything is priced well for how much food you get and the quality is high. We're so glad we found our go-to when another craving strikes.

I ordered the beef ramen and it was AMAZING I ordered it spicy and the spice was a great addition it was enjoyable. I asked to add a boiled egg which was only a dollar extra and it was very nice of them to do ! Customer service was very kind and inviting. Appreciate it !

With a large green and black sign, Wong's Kitchen is pretty hard to miss. There's plenty of seating inside and the owner is very attentive. For food, I'd recommend the Steam Table. The Steam Table's inexpensive and even though it has the presentation of a Chinese buffet, the options are surprisingly fresh and tasty. On the side, I also ordered the Beef Pho ($8.95) which was slightly underwhelming considering the frozen beef and small bowl size. If you're looking for good wholesome Chinese American food, this is the spot.

Great place! My husband and I came here for lunch today. It was really cute inside, the employees were very friendly and the food was really good! It seemed very well organized and it looked spotless! I had an order of Nime Chow - It was fantastic! The order came with 2 pieces, 2 different dipping sauces, one peanut sauce and the other, some sort of a teriyaki sauce. I also had a cup of won-ton soup. It was PIPING hot! It took several minutes before I could even take a bite! My husband had Nime Chow and Beef Noodle Soup (PHO), the Pho portion was huge and he said he enjoyed it very much. We will definitely be back!!

I came here on a Monday night to pick up takeout. I ordered veggie pho and it was ready when I got there. When I got home and opened the bag, I was surprised by the amount of food - there was SO much!!! Definitely enough broth and vegetables to last two meals. The one thing that wasn't great was they put all the vegetables together in a tiny bowl, one that was far too small to fit all of the broth. Which meant I had to find a larger bowl in my house somewhere to accommodate all of the ingredients. Once I finally got everything together, it was delicious! The broth had a slightly off flavor and some of the vegetables tasted weird, but besides that it was a great meal! Plenty of noodles which were also delicious. Very good price for the amount of food you get - I was stuffed afterward. If I were to order from this place again, I would try something different.

Do you offer a vegetarian broth alternative for the pho?

Our pho is traditionally vegetarian which comes prepared with vegetarian broth. You can also request beef broth with any of our pho choices. Please let me know if this answers your question and stop by so one of our friendly team members may help…

I have to limit salt intake. What steps could you take to accommodate that?

Hello, Jimmy here from the Wong's Kitchen. We can make any entree that has white sauce with no salt. Any entree with dark sauce will have a little salt in it because of the soy sauce but we do not add any additional salt to it.

    Any Gluten- free options?

Hi Susan, Jimmy here from Wong's Kitchen. We can make some dishes(half of our menu) gluten free upon request.

I believe it's a full smashed whole chicken so each bite has bits of bones. But the chicken is stewed in a rich, spicy broth. The stew has hand made noodles, potatoes, and peppers. We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.

Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however.
