Beef chow fun
Krystyn P.

Noodle Revolution is one of those places that you know deserves a five star, but is such a hidden gem that you don't want it to get too popular that you can't get a seat. But the food is amazing. I've ordered something new every time I've gone, and have always been impressed. Their kids chicken noodle soup is the one meal I've always seen my son finish every single time (and it's a pretty big portion for a child). The restaurant itself is a tiny little storefront in the middle of a residential area. It's cozy and doesn't fit much more than 20 people, even with 4 seats at the bar. I've never had to make reservations, but as this place grows in popularity I'm worried I will start having to do so... but the owners deserve the business!

Very good, the rice was soft and the chicken was tender. Spice had the perfect quick to it.

The flavors in both of our meals were remarkable. Excellent food, and it's all so fresh. No processed crap- no guilt! The dining room is cozy, the service was great. I got beef pho, hubs got a drunken rice pot (sadly no picture) and we shared the chicken dumplings. Can't wait to go back and try the fried banana dessert.

Wide rice noodle, black sauce w chicken .. amazing

Been here countless times .. always on point tonight we toured the menu and it didn't disappoint Crispy Pork Belly Bao buns to start were killer..Grandma's spring rolls are exactly how they should be, light, flakey, fresh... pork dumplings were in a delicate wrapper and just addicting. Next we had the Thai basil beef. It was bright and flavorful.

Food was amazing with the pork being nicely crispy and the noodles being steamy and made well! The staff was super friendly, and offered to try their pineapple soda which was very delicious! They also were very kind to give me extra sriracha sauce for our dishes.

Excellent food that is worth waiting for but slow service. If you're in a rush don't bother. Some of the best beef pho and soup I have had.

The sushi we got was really fresh and fantastic. I got the orange chicken as an entrée and it was very crispy and the chicken meat was good inside. I also got a lychee martini, which kinda has a melon/passionfruit kind of flavoring to it if you're not familiar with lychee. We got the Bamba for dessert. I'm not usually a fan of peanut butter, but this one was really good. The weight staff was super nice and attentive the whole time, it was also very sweet that at the end of our meal they brought out a small gift for my brother to unwrap now my brother and his wife come to this restaurant often so I thought maybe this was just something they were doing because they knew them but when asked, they said that they do this for all the customers and I thought that was the coolest thing. My brother ended up opening up a car phone mount which was very practical and useful and something he actually needed. Overall, this place was definitely a 10 out of 10 will be coming back for sure. My kids loved the avocado and shrimp tempura rolls, which they both add so fast. My wife enjoys her scallops and ordered the scallon in black bean sauce. She said the scallop is fresh and tastes sweet. Couldn't help it but I did steal some of scallop and can confirm it was fresh and sweet. For a lunch special we ordered general tso and sesame chicken which were both crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated with a generous amount of sauce. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup. My kids chose the egg drop soup and I chose the hot and sour soup. Both soups were good. Why not 5 star? I thought the bathroom could use some improvement? At first my wife said it smelled like poop, and I really thought it was just her thinking that. Keep in mind that its 2 bathrooms, one for the ladies and one for the gents. When I stepped into the restroom for men, I immediately was overtaken by the smell of poop. They need to improve their ventilation system and also put in some air freshener. If it weren't for the bathroom issue, I'd definitely rate this place 5 stars. Food was amazing, would definitely come here again.

This was no written or editted by AI…read more We went to Bao on a recommendation and had the highest hopes. First, the décor was ok--a nice if not admirable try at creating the ambiance of the far east....along with a TV showing high def images and drone footage of the Thai countryside(I think). The lighting was poor, and to address that they put big-boy lamps on the tables...but when we needed more room on the tables and asked them to take the lamp away, I needed to use my phone to see the menu. The noise level was ok and not too cacophonic. The seats were almost comfortable. The service was less than satisfactory and was one of the reasons that this place did not end up with an average score. First, the appetizer and main courses got a little logjammed. Second, they did not have the sense to figure out how to accommodate all the dishes on the tabletop. Next, they seldom came by to check on us and refill glasses and we had to ask several times over for them to bring us more peanut sauce. The most significant transgression though came just before the finish line. We sat, and sat, and sat, and sat some more awaiting our check. Finally, I got up and summoned a passerby waiter to run our charge. The food was meh. The Larb (chicken) was a nice portion and cooked perfectly, but the chicken pieces were underseasoned, bland and i had to force myself to eat them. The lettuce was so stiff that it could not roll up the mined chicken and onions and the contents spilled all over my shirt and table. That was a harbinger. Let's move to the Massaman Chicken. It was more of a liquid than a sauce. Having made the dish many a time, this comes from a little too much coconut milk and not reducing the sauce for enough time. Sometimes it comes from rushing--but this is speculation. The chicken was cut into pleasant morsels and was a little rubbery and dry, the onions were nice and soft and tasty, and the potatoes were cooked just right. The proportions of the solid ingredients felt about right. The Pad Thai--frankly it was ok...or almost ok. The noodles were cooked properly, and the red sauce was new for me in that when I order it at a restaurant or make it at home, the default is brown from higher amounts of soy sauce. The other ingredients in the Pad Thai were scant--very little chicken, for instance, but other ingredients were sparse too. I saw a small pile of bean shoots and carrots and perhaps someone should have mixed it all up first (kitchen vs. customers) but by the time the dish made its way to me it was basically noodles. The Pad Se Ew was not a winner. It was off. First, it might have been overcooked or under-seasoned, but it was not right. Also, too, there were too many veggies and other ingredients and too little or few noodles. This dish can be made many different ways, and the sauce can be a serious and conscientious build--this seemed to be not so complex and put together rather hastily. The spring rolls are not your typical Chinese-restaurant-takeout-fried-egg roll style deliverable. The presentation was much more sophisticated and elegant, and they looked like works of art. I did not try them but the diners I was with did--and they said they tasted just as as they looked. There was a bit of food left over...some of the other folks I dined with asked for containers to bring them home-- I told them they needed to have their head examined... The service was a 1-2, the ambiance was a 2, all the dishes were 2s--maybe after a few drinks I'd give them a 2.5. Overall, if an average is 3, this was below that, so they get a 2.

When we went inside, there was only one other party there and no music, so just whispers and the sounds of utensils against plates. There are about 4-5 booths and 1-2 regular tables to choose from. Since l am not familiar with Sichuan cuisine, I had Al help me choose my dishes. I went with the dumplings in chili sauce, fried rice, eggplant in garlic sauce, and chongquin chicken. While we waited, we were given water. The dishes came out at different times. They first served us the dumplings which were really good. The sauce they were in did have some chili sauce, but it was mostly like a sweet soy sauce and really tasty. It came with about 6 dumplings with a perfectly cooked wrapper and filled with flavorful pork - simple but delicious. Next was the eggplant. I was expecting a heavy garlic presence, but it was more like a sweet and sour sauce. The eggplant was very tender, but really hot so we had to wait to let it cool down a bit. The rice came after. I honestly think this was one of my favorite dishes since it was perfectly cooked, great flavor, and good portion. Lastly, the chicken came out. There was a large pile of chicken, but half of it was peppers. The chicken was cut into little bite sized pieces, each fried perfectly. Some pieces were more tongue numbing than others but it was nothing aggressive; very gentle and comfortable numb. I would have liked if there were music, but the no music was fine too; an escape from chaotic reality. Our total was around $50, which wasn't bad for the amount of food we got. I would come back to try other items.

The chive bites are a showstopper--my friends and I almost always do 2 orders or more, and we love the sauce and dip everything else in it as well.
