Great food! Especially the brussel sprouts taco, if you're on the fence(like I was), I say get em! It was the best thing we ate! The burrito turned rice bowl was also good and large portion! The only thing about it is that it felt like I could make a very similar version at home. The chicken lime taco was ok, but the other two dishes were awesome. The ambience is nice, large spacious booths and tables with interesting decor around the room! Service was great, no issues! Overall I would say it's a great restaurant, just probably not gonna be in top 10 places to go(based on what I had!)

Visited Wong's Tacos on recommendation for the first time yesterday. It was a fantastic restaurant, and I would generally say that the appetizers are preferable to the tacos in terms of what I'm used to. The tacos were also good, but could definitely benefit from a bit more complexity in seasoning, the service was excellent, and the ambience of the restaurant was also exceptional our server was extremely kind expedient and helpful.

When in Short Pump, a trip to Wong's is a must. I love their Mexican/Asian fusion. Their Brussels sprout taco is something I dream about. Lots of great menu options- kids included. And a super yummy drink menu! A night out or a dinner with family- this is a great spot.

The char siu tempura chicken wings are AMAZING!! We have been meaning to try Wongs for months and i'm so glad we did! The bao was incredibly soft and well balanced. The low light was the burrito but everything else from the corn to the tacos were amazing! The burrito wasn't bad but it just wasn't on the same level as everything else. We did take out but the inside seemed clean and well decorated. The hostess was welcoming and quick to help.

Everything I ate here was delicious and my waiter was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back and I'm already suggesting it to friends for a meet up. I like how you can order individual tacos so you can mix and match to your taste. The Bulgogi Asada was hands down my favorite. I could have eaten a couple of these. Second runner up was the Chili Lime Chicken. Much lighter than the Asada with more bite but not a lot of heat. I also got the nachos knowing I wouldn't be able to eat them all but I had plenty to take home for lunch tomorrow. Lots of ground beef and charred corn. Not full of filler items. The chips are light & crispy and the cilantro crème sauce was so good. Plenty for three people as an appetizer or two people as a dish. The prices aren't bad. The tacos run $4-6 each and they are not skimpy on the fillings. The nachos were around $13 so my entire bill with tip was $30 and well worth it, with leftovers. They also have a very nice, large patio outside that I would like to try. Overall good food, good service and a good vibe. I'll be back.

Crispy Kung Pao chicken and Crispy brussel sprout tacos

This was my first time here. I came with two friends who raved about the tacos. I decided to try a crispy brussel sprout and a crispy Kung Pao chicken taco. Both tacos were cold when served, which made the chicken pretty tough to eat. I really liked the flavor of the brussel sprout taco as it had a lot of spice, but was kind of disappointed with the lackluster Kung Pao chicken, which was not spicy at all. Later I decided to order a Bulgogi Asada taco, which was served warm, but was dripping with oil and also had very little flavor. My friends commented that the tacos were better the last time they came, so maybe they were just having an off night. I'd give them another try as it's a cool place.

It was fine - I'm not sure the Mexican/Asian fusion was executed super well here...I think I would prefer one or the other; not both. The nachos were the best thing we had. The tacos were just okay. The chorizo eggrolls didn't have much flavor. Service was also okay, but they did seem a little busy. Although their margarita on the rocks was amazing.

I am in the area for work and decided to grab a quick dinner at Wong's Tacos because who doesn't love Asian and Mexican fusion lol? Service was great as I was greeted the minute I walked in and there were friendly and thorough bartenders / servers at the bar. I unexpectedly hit a double jackpot as it was both Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday so I decided to enjoy a house margarita and try four different tacos. The margarita was refreshing with a nice kick but the only taco that I loved was The El Blanco. The Jerk Chicken taco was cold, the oyster mushroom taco was a bit too sweet and the shrimp tempura taco wasn't crispy. Overall a middle of the road experience but the crazy thing is I would give the restaurant another try because there were so many other taco options that I'm sure I would find others that I love.

We have dined at Wongs before and just wanted to share some yelp love. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were added to the waitlist, so we went to the bar for a drink while we waited. Once seated, our server took our order right away and our meals came out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Fun menu with a unique mix of mexican and korean food/flavors. Fun deco. VERY loud though making it hard to have a converdstion What we ate: Brussel sprout taco: pico de gallo, cotija cheese, spicy cilantro crema, wonton crispies Mooshu mushroon taco: roasted oyster mushroom, green cabbage Kung pao chicken taco: katsu chicken, asian slaw, jalapeño, scallion, sesame, chile lime peanuts, kung pao sauce Korean brisket taco: Street Corn: Cotija Cheese, Scallion, Spicy Cilantro Crema, Cilantro Mexinese fried rice My rating rationale  +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +.5 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

The food was very good and it came out fast. I would recommend! I liked the mix of Mexican and Chinese food.

This is truly unique taco spot with excellent cocktails and fantastic food. The room is also really cool, from the layout to the artwork.

When you're paying almost 7 dollars for a single taco, you have a certain expectation of quality. I was so disappointed I don't think I'll ever come back to give them another chance, especially after spending 30.00 for 2 tacos and some queso!! We split the Democrat and a Baja shrimp taco. The Democrat had completely tasteless shredded barbacoa and the avocado was so hard, and cold I think it may have been previously frozen?? The Baja shrimp had soggy and COLD fried shrimp, a horrible combination!! Was never asked if we wanted corn or flour and they just defaulted to corn, without even asking. Even though their menu pics of tacos look like they're on flour? And if you're going to serve corn tortillas, in a street taco style, it should at least be a double corn tortilla, something that's just standard with any other taco, given the small size of corn tortillas. The queso was the one saving grace, it was runny but had a decent flavor. The chips were completely inconsistent, like they mixed fresh chips with some on the stale side. Totally hit or miss. Couldn't help but feel tremendous regret after spending a chunk of change for 2 tacos!! Fast food walk up vs a sit down restaurant where you can get a full plate with a couple tacos, rice and beans for a third of the price. It was an absolute eye opener, and not a good one. Eating out these days is something that needs to justify the cost. Torchy's doesn't!!!
