We were in town for the Special Olympics and stopped at Tres Macho Taco what a great choice. The food was amazing, the customer service was outstanding, and the whole place was super clean. my daughter really wanted to try to build a noodles but ended up getting the Belh tacos and stay as she couldn't resist. The rice is perfect, which is always a must with our meal! Our server was awesome and made the experience even better. Five stars from us.

Tres Machos is a small and nearly hidden gem in the Innsbrook area. Located next to Hondos Steakhouse, Tres Machos is definitely trying to earn their place and your appetite as well. There are so many options here to choose from. Many Tex-Mex options as well as traditional faves that I don't often see offered at other local Mexican restaurants. Their staff is friendly and courteous, and certainly try to make the dining experience a good one. Chips and salsa are well made and tasty. We've tried several options to date and all were good. An exceptional dish is their "Birria Pizza." If you've ever had Birria tacos (braised short rib), then you'll definitely love this. Simply exquisite and rich! My only disappointment was ordering a couple of extra flour tortillas with my meal. I don't recall restaurants charging a fee, and I wasn't told their would be one when I requested them, but the tortillas (3) were nearly $4 extra! This just seems a bit excessive to me. When I inquired, I was told that because I ordered enchiladas, the tortillas were extra. Yes, but $4??!! Nonetheless, Tres Machos is very good and I would highly recommend them to anyone who really enjoys good Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine.

Food quality was slightly better than Taco Bell. The queso funding was mostly chorizo and very little cheese cheese. The queso was running and not stringy like you have with a pizza mozerella. In quality Mexican restaurant it is served with warm tortillas Now about tortillas, we ordered traditional street style shrimp taco with corn tortillas, cilantro and onion. The tortillas that came was flour. I asked about getting corn and was told this is what they get from their supplier supplier I asked to see the cook, who is Mexican and in Spanish I asked him if this was the quality of food he eats at home and he so it was better. The management needs to make the cook get proper ingredients. The only positive was Freddie the waiter. He was trying.

Wow--don't overlook Tres Machos, solid service and great food. I started with the large Dos Equis Amber to start things off right! Our server Leticia was a joy, super professional. Located in a strip mall on Cox Road in Glen Allen. Decor was quite well done. We ordered the Cheese Dip to enjoy with our fresh house-made Chips & Salsa. Main entrees were Enchiladas Supreme and the mixed Fajitas (Chicken & Steak). I order the Fajitas with no peppers and just more onions, which was not a problem thanks to Leticia.

New restaurant in Innsbrook in the old Padows spot. I'd randomly come across the IG page and also saw signs down along Broad St so decided to pop in over the weekend and check it out. Super humble and great service by the owner and staff. They were fast and efficient and eager to get the word out about their new spot. I decided to try a chimichanga (you know a fave and tried and true) for my first visit. There were two chimichanga and they came with rice and beans (although not listed on the menu). They were huge and filling. Can't say I usually need a box for this meal, but did. They had been open just less than a week on my visit, so looking forward to seeing them get established and to come back and try more things on the menu. I asked for white sauce but they said they didn't have it 'yet' so definitely need to try that for a fair assessment.

Really, really good food and walking distance to the hotel. Steak was tasty and cheese sauce was thin but excellent taste. Perfect.

They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.

What a great decision! When you walk in, you immediately notice that all of the wines are beautifully displayed -- it doubles as a wine shop, which gives it such a warm and welcoming vibe. It feels cozy but elevated at the same time. They don't offer flights for groups larger than five, but we were able to order one dealer's choice flight based on our preferred flavor profiles. From there, we could select a bottle inspired by the flight. A few of us gravitated toward reds. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable -- we told her the flavor profiles we liked, and she brought out three reds to try. The Wade & Wayfarer Pinot Noir was our favorite (so good!), though a bit pricier. We also tried the Alkoorai Cab/Merlot blend, which ended up being our least favorite. Ultimately, we chose the Denner Nightshade GSM -- excellent pick. Bonus tip: if you purchase a bottle $50 or more, there's no corkage fee; under $50, there is. Our waitress also mentioned that South American Merlots are the best Merlots as we all mentioned Merlot tends to be more dry. A few in our group ordered the Masterpiece Theatre cocktail on our waitress's recommendation -- she did not steer us wrong! Food-wise, everything was a hit. Our friends ordered the Cacio e Pepe burrata, pickled shrimp, Caesar salad, mushroom and leek flatbread, and the Brie and pear flatbread (both flatbreads were huge!). They loved every dish. My husband and I shared the bread with olive oil (simple and delicious), the charred octopus (tender with amazing flavor), gnocchi Bolognese, and lamb chops. Everything was fantastic -- the only small note was that the lamb could've been a bit more rare -- but still very flavorful. By the end of the night, all six of us agreed we'd absolutely be back. We're even looking into their wine club -- $60/month for two bottles (pickup required at the shop), which honestly sounds like a great deal. Apparently, they change up their wine flights weekly, which makes it even more fun and gives us a reason to return. Such a great experience all around -- can't wait to go back and try more wines!

They also have wine tastings several evening per week with minimal charges. Knowledgeable servers and bartender. There is a small bar also, so beer and drinks are also available. We have gone multiple times with different friends and everyone has loved our evenings.

We were so busy exploring all the other cities so we did not have the opportunity to try this. Plus, the Drury hotels have an evening kickback hour that provides food and drinks. We decided to eat here because immediately after checking in at 5pm, I had to work and was not finished until 6:30pm, which is at the tail end of kickback time. For some reason, I was craving a burger and decided this might be the place to go. They closed at 10 so we had to get there at least 9:15pm to be fair. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately upon sitting. Alexis took our drink order and provided us with menus. There were fellow patrons who came over and sang happy birthday to Alexis, which was so sweet. She was so grateful as well. Hubs ordered the chicken tenders with tots and I ordered the cheeseburger with tots. I think Alexis was the only staff member working because she went in to start the grill, checked on it, then went in and delivered the food. I believe she also mentioned something that made it sound like she was the only one. The burger was not the best but it was actually a lot better than many other burgers. We decided to also order a scoop of ice cream and an extra round of drinks to go. Everything ran very smoothly and we did not have to wait for anything.
