Instead of ordering DoorDash, I went in. It's been a moment since I went to this buffet and always good fresh food. I was there right when they opened no complaints to Sue. She was good on point service was good. Make sure you're drinks were full and ready. The ambience was nice quiet little music playing in the background nothing to override anything And it still talking about comfortable situation.

My favorite place to eat, good food and a staff that's attentive but not overbearing.

I've been to many Chinese buffets, and Woochi is my favorite. First off, they're quick with seeting and grabbing your drink order so you can get food. They also have a larger variety of food compared to other places I've been, and the dishes are better quality. There's a lunch and dinner menu when it comes to what's available, so if you have a preference make sure you schedule accordingly. I will admit, the ambiance is not as fancy or extravagant as other places, BUT their food quality and variety has been unmatched. The employees there are friendly and quick, and I go at least once a week because I love it so much. Highly recommend.

‼ LIVE ROACH ALERT! My little one wanted to enjoy Valentine's Day dinner at the buffet and finish off with dessert. This was like a nightmare come true. It took everything in me to not want to throw up on site. I notified my waiter and he yelled something out in a different language and 4 employees came scurrying over and quickly hurried the buffet platter away. I headed back to my table to get my belongings and leave. Of course I wanted to see how they would handle it. The lady who appeared to be the manager in charge told me she's so sorry and that they just sprayed yesterday and she could show me their spray receipt. I said no thank you. She told me she would just not charge for my 6 year old daughter's meal, but she would charge for mine. I beg your finest pardon!!! Actually... she wanted to charge me for eating their roach eggs. I told her I couldn't pay for that and she said OK and we headed out. Needless to say, I almost started dry heaving to get the roach eggs out of my throat.

    Some sushi choices.

We were in the area around lunchtime and decided to stop in. This place is in a large shopping plaza along with several other restaurants. Upon arrival, the hostes/cashier was not present. A minute later, she came from the dining room and took a takeout order from the guy ahead of us. I would think that unless there is a wait for seating, you should be seated right away instead of waiting for another customer to decide what to order for takeout. Once seated, our drink order was taken immediately. I was impressed with the size of the buffet. There were more varieties of sushi than most other Chinese buffets. The sushi was freshly made and of good quality. The fruit and salad bar was impressive also. I had pasta salad and spicy cucumbers, which were unique to my buffet experience. The baked salmon seemed dry and lacked flavor. The barbecued ribs were dry and tough, like beef jerky. They had a pork filled bun, which was a sreamed bun with a pork filling. The pork filling was sweet and very tasty. Unfortunately, the bun was tough and rubbery. I wanted to eat just the filling. The other items I sampled were comparable to other buffets I've been to. If I do ever stop on for lunch again, I will make it a sushi buffet.

Way overpriced! Food was terrible. Asked for an Arnold Palmer and got a lemonade with Pepsi. We all left with stomach aches. Never again.

It had your standard American breakfast staples along with items I would consider for dinner like prime rib and oysters. Our server was great - she wasn't frazzled by our large group and made sure each one of us was taken care of. The ambiance was super casual and at times busy; it is a buffet after all. Although everyone enjoyed their time here, including myself, I would not go out of my way to return. This is so out of the way for me and there is nothing extraordinary that would compel me to come back on my own.

Probably they were frozen after being cooked. Oysters on the half shell were slightly dehydrated and their taste was off. Bagels with cream cheese and lox was good but the little slice of lox on top was very small, I was tempted to take 4 bagels and just take the toppings off of them. Prime rib was expertly roasted rare, but the meat quality was probably USDA SELECT in grade. The sautéed green beans were great. The fried shrimp was mediocre at best; probably frozen right out of the bag. Menudo was also mediocre in taste, the flavor should have been rich and deep, but it tasted pretty flat. No dim sum and that surprised me. Dim sum used to be a standard offering. I love Sunday brunches but I really gotta find another place.

China City is a solid go to spot for a hearty Chinese buffet meal in the East Valley. The place is…read morespacious with plenty of seating, and the staff keeps the buffet trays well stocked and fresh during busy times. The standout dishes for me were the orange chicken which is perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in that tangy sweet sauce that's addictive without being overly sticky or greasy. It's one of the best versions I've had at a buffet. The beef with onions is always a winner with flavorful strips of beef stir fried with plenty of onions in a savory sauce that had great flavor. Not tough or overcooked, which is a common issue at buffets. I also really enjoyed the rice noodles, they were soft and well seasoned, with a nice wok hei char that made them stand out from the usual plain steamed rice or fried rice options. Overall, this place is a great value with a wide variety including sushi, seafood, and Mongolian grill options, though some other items can be hit or miss depending on the day. The place is always clean, with quick service, and definitely worth a visit if you're craving American Chinese classics done right. I'll be back!

Food 5/5 I tried several buffets in the area but I'm a fan of this restaurant for the freshness of offerings, food turnover, food temperatures and very clean serving stations. Tonight was chopstick heaven with fine Rice Noodles, grilled green beans, mushrooms, Chow-mien, dumplings and the best Egg Drop soup! Service 5/5 We've always had great service here. Tonight our server was Nancy who did a good job! I rate this buffet as #1 in East Mesa, give them a try. Eat well my friends-SYOY!
