We landed in triple digit Arizona heat and decided to chill indoor at a casino to stay cool as well as have a buffet dinner. Everyday had a special and on this particular day, it was prime rib and champagne (2 glass per person) for $39.99. The buffet was small but had all your typical items. It was quality over quantity. The prime rib alone was worth it. I especially loved that they gave you the option to sear it. There were shrimp, mussels, clams, many types of fish like fish and chips, cod, rock fish, salmon. All delicious. A bit of Asian cuisine, Italian and American. Small pre cut sushi rolls, Thai Tea station with boba and finally, their dessert island had so many cakes and pies. I stuck with ice cream. A trick for champagne is to order two full glasses of champagne and ask for orange juice on the side to maximize your mimosa. Our server, Raquel was extremely sweet and attentive. She was managing several tables at once and forgot our requests several times but we saw her efforts. Buffet closes at 8 and we were one of the last patrons to leave. She offered us bottled water and soda to go.

We have been curious about the Eagles Buffet for a while, and for some reason decided that Father's Day would be a good time! When we arrived, it was already line out the door and past so many slot machines. We were already on the other side of the casino! I overheard someone asking how long the wait was, and the host told them TWO HOURS. Luckily for us, our wait was better than going back outside to 112 weather. We didn't wait too long... just an hour an half lol. But getting in was great! You pay upfront, and they get you seated. They gave my son a high chair. I did not take many photos because we were eating, and we were eating a lot! The menu for the Father's Day Brunch Buffet was breakfast items along with some entrees. The following is what ended up on our plates: - prime rib (their horseradish did not have much zing) - salmon (very good, especially when fresh!) - oysters (wish they had tabasco - it was missing something) - crab egg benedicts (the english muffin was hard to cut, but we were both surprised they didn't over cook the yolk!) - hash browns (very good!) - steamed vegetables (also very good, and helped balance all the heavy protein - funnel cake (was okay, I wish I saw if there was a syrup to eat with it) - ice cream (there is an attendant at the station, let them know the flavors and you can add your own toppings) -carrot cake (VERY sweet, you should ask for a coffee before taking a bite) The price of the buffet was $39.99 per head so the total for us two was around $98 and my son was FREE. I would love to try their dinner and sushi night on Fridays. The pricing for that is also $39.99

This is a great buffet to get prime rib however there are better places for all you can eat meat with better quality food. I found the meat to be delicious and the service to be great but the food was a bit lacking luster and not as good as I had hoped! It's very family friendly and dimly lit but it feels cozy and quaint. I really loved the mashed potatoes and prime rib (offered only on Friday) but I didn't find myself enjoying the desserts

Located just off the 101 inside Casino Arizona, Eagles Buffet is a treat we enjoy every few months--especially when we have guests in town. The wide variety of food options makes it easy to satisfy everyone's tastes. On Saturdays and Sundays, your meal includes your choice of two mimosas or two Bloody Marys, which adds a fun touch to the experience. Wednesdays and Thursdays feature all-you-can-eat crab legs for dinner, though be prepared for long lines--it's a popular night! Despite occasional crowds, the table service is impressively quick. A few of the longtime servers give the place a warm, familiar feel, almost like a traditional sit-down restaurant. The buffet area is well-lit and offers a generous selection, including an omelet bar, dessert station, prime rib carving section, seafood, salads, and more. Even if you don't hit it big on the casino floor, you can still leave feeling like a winner after a delicious, satisfying meal at a great value.

Food: the food was your typical type of buffet. They had seafood, Asian food, Italian, and lots of dessert! My favorite was the sushi they were presented in these type of bamboo boat and there was one to two pieces depending on which type you would like. I also really enjoyed their prime rib! Service: the service was great! From the start when they check you in they tell you of the different services and what is included in the buffet so that you are not confused. We came during later hours so they were closing down by the time we were done. I wanted one last cup of soda and the staff went over to three next store, I guess theirs was closed down as well, and grabbed a cup! So kind of her! (I said she didn't have to since she was going so far but she did so anyways. Ambiance: it was casual, no need to be over dressed.

Ask the Community - Eagles Buffet

What night are crab legs and prime rib served?

Crab legs are Wednesday & Thursdays 4:30 - 8:30. $59.95 plus tax. Not sure about prime rib.

Does the restaurant smell of smoke?

I did not smell any smoke. I am a non smoker, so my nose usually picks it up.

Has Crab Leg Night returned along with the re-opening of the buffet?

    Yes

What's the price for adult and kids?

Kids 5 and under are free.

On AYCE Crab legs nights, are the crabs the small red ones? Or the orange meaty snow crabs posted in the pictures a year ago?

They are snow crab legs, or the "small red ones". The larger, meatier orange ones are actually king crab legs. Hope that helps.

We kicked things off with a complimentary prickly pear vodka cocktail (delicious) paired with a comp app -- looks like they rotate these, and I got hummus with crudite and crackers. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth fatty richness I was hoping for from wagyu and was slightly chewy. - Scallops: tender! - Asparagus: came with a creamy sauce which was a great touch - Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake: MAGICAL. Layered, with crunchy pralines and vanilla ice cream. If you've had the chocolate hazelnut cake at Carbone, this gave me major similar vibes... that good! Will absolutely be back to try a different cut of steak and also the loaded baked potato. The ambience alone is worth the trip, but the crudo and that cake are what's going to stick with me.

Some of the standout items for us were the mocktails and the pasta. The Pillows of Love pasta absolutely lived up to the hype and was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the mac and cheese, mushrooms, steak, and seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared, high quality, and worthy of the restaurant's reputation. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation. The atmosphere made for a perfect birthday dinner--upscale, energetic, and memorable without feeling stuffy. Combined with outstanding food and attentive service, it made for a special evening that my wife and I won't forget. If you're looking for a restaurant for a celebration, date night, or simply an exceptional dining experience, Maple & Ash delivers. We'll definitely be back.

Not too spicy and full of flavor. Also, great for sharing as you fill it in the buttery tortillas. The filet was seriously one of the best I've ever had in Arizona. It has a nice shallot butter crust and it was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. This was a highlight. The pork chop is huge and has a nice sweetness to it. The meat wasn't dry either...it pretty much tasted like the best bacon I've ever had LOL Everyone must get the green chili Mac n cheese. Not spicy at all just Smokey and tangy and full of cheese but shockingly not that heavy. The pecan pie was unreal. Gooey and sweet but the crust was still super flakey. The host told us that there was open seating along the wall or under cover outside. Since the wall was full, we ventured outside near the cooler. We were given water right away but didn't even see a server, Jessica, for 12 mins. We even had to ask her for menus. It was a very awkward start. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well and the grits were incredible. They were creamy, with pronounced poblano and Jack cheese. It was the perfect accompaniment. Jessica did a great job checking in on us during our meal but, again, it was awkward waiting 15 mins for her to offer dessert and check. We will return but perhaps not during happy hour, when it's very busy but the evening staff hasn't arrived yet.

I tried some pretty typical things like orange chicken and their version of beef and broccoli. neither one of 'em was real good. the beef wasn't bad but it was cold. their noodle dishes, ones that I'm pretty sure were supposed to be served hot, were also cold. guests seemed to be seated furthest from the buffet stations. the sushi rolls didn't look terrible but I wasn't brave enough to try any of them. the nigiri sushi items looked old and pushed around. that wasn't appetizing. the staff were friendly but seemed to speak limited English. the restrooms weren't in the best shape and were in need of some TLC. Amazing Restaurant!…read more All amazing people of Phoenix, if you have not gone to this phenomenal restaurant yet, you really need to. This is one convenient, high quality, extremely flavorful Chinese place that me and my husband visited today. It was just high quality all the way! When we arrived it was quiet. Superbly clean, neat and tidy. Cute decor and a nice inviting vibe. We were sat at a table and given our menus. Prices were really good. Especially when you get the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen. Our waitress was super-nice. Which is hard to find these days. She was so nice to everyone who came in. When we sat down, a lady who wasn't too sure about the place came in asking all kinds of questions. And she patiently answered each one as if she was a close family member. A homeless guy came in asking for water. She jumped right up to give him a HUGE cup of ice and water and was so kind to him. Then other patrons came in to order and pick up food and each one, regardless of age, ethnic makeup, what they were wearing, all were greeted so warmly. Huge smiles and a constant giving and warm attitude all throughout. We were treated just as good. And for us that is very rare. We ordered a lot of various things. A cold cucumber salad, a hot appetizer, a couple of main dishes. Then the absolute most amazing signature steak on the Chef's Speciality. WOW. The salad and appetizers came out first. Salad really cold and refreshing. Super crisp and cut nicely. Amazing flavor. Then the appetizers were super hot and fresh. Not oily. Bursting with flavor. Then the mains came. Everything cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish just screaming at my taste buds. Enjoyed every bite. Then they brought out the steak for my husband. So juicy. So tender. And the sauce in the side just added to the flavor. We savored every bite. The quality and temperatures and flavors are off the chart. We could not finish all this bliss in one sitting, se we asked for boxes and containers. She gave us many to separate everything and a bag to haul it home in.
