This place has a lot going for it if you're hungry. There's plenty of parking, fast service, and a huge variety of food. They offer everything from seafood and sushi to fried foods, meats, salads, desserts, and more. The price was around $20 per adult, including a soft drink, which I think is only worth it if you can really eat a lot. The biggest downside was the bathroom. I only went in to wash my hands and it was honestly awful. Two other ladies walked in and didn't even want to use the toilets. We visited this establishment 15 years ago and, regrettably, it left a negative impression. My parents and I typically frequent Pacific Seafood buffet. However, today that restaurant is closed for renovation and we've been craving crab legs. We returned here and, to my surprise, they have significantly improved since our last visit 15 years ago. It was an average buffet. Lots and lots of options! However my top items at the buffet was the sushi and the Mongolian grill. The sushi was good for a buffet - an assortment of sashimi and sushi rolls, both raw sushi and cooked sushi. Definitely made sure I ate my money's worth. The Mongolian grill was also great - variety of protein and veggies. And the chef was super nice and kind, with limited English. Everything else was okay. I think there are so many options simply to fill you up! But still average and if you can eat a lot - it can be worth your money. There weren't very many good dessert options. They offer to-go options if you pay by the pound. Oh I forgot - there were a few different soup options and wonton soups! But the egg drop soup was the best of all the soups! Went there yesterday, and while the food looked delicious, the experience was anything but. The service was practically nonexistent they ask for a tip before doing anything, yet no one actually served us. After dropping off water, the waitress never returned. No refills, no napkins, nothing. As for the food, it was a big disappointment. No flavor, and the chicken dishes were tough and dry, almost like jerky. Overall, this place was a hard no for me. Almost everything is too greasy and/or salty. More fried batter on meats than actual meat. Big restaurant with wide selection - mostly families which makes sense when you gotta feed the fam on the budget. Just beware that there are often kids running around and touching everything lol. Sushi area was interesting. You can tell some items were sitting out for several hours bc the avocado was so brown. Some of the sushi I tried was either dried out or overly slimy and had a foul texture--indicative of being out for too long at room temperature. Crab puffs were overstuffed but undercooked and soggy. The outside of the restaurant is kind of non descript. When we saw "super buffet" we were pretty excited and decided to go in. The servers gave us drinks, napkins and utensils and were attentive and available. The Mongolian BBQ had fresh chicken, pork, and beef. The vegetables were fresh. Sauces were chosen at the grill. Teriyaki. Soy sauce, and hibachi. It was pretty salty and controlled by the cook. I would have liked to see sesame oil, wine, and ginger available, too. And cabbage choice that wasn't just coleslaw. The rows and rows of food had shrimp, dumplings, veggies, noodle and egg rolls, fried and white rice, fruits, salad, jello , cookies, cakes, and desserts. We came on a Sunday night for dinner, total for 3 was $50+. Cleanliness is non existent here, I walked out with cake batter??? On my leg??? Like how??? I was sitting in the booth with my son and he had red cake sticky whatever it was all over his leg and feet. The booth we sat in was extremely dirty; haven't been wiped down besides the table. The high chair was soooo dirty too. There was a lot of people there, food was either super greasy, salty, or caked with a lot of batter than the meat. This place has improved so. Much from prior years. It used to be fairly average . Recently I decided to try them again. I love down the street and usually drive 15 min to a different one for their options. I went before Christmas with my son who is 22 and after for girls lunch with 3 girlfriends. Plenty of options especially seafood. The salt and pepper shrimp are huge....I don't mind peeling them although it's a pain in the butt lol but totally worth it. Had crayfish here for the first time. I love buffets but this place was the worst!! Large buffet tables but with almost nothing worth eating. Breads are often my favorites and they were undercooked. Workers were regularly blocking the buffet bar and acting uppity with you for trying to get food. Service was horrendous! Their only job is to bring you drinks, but they can't even manage that, but they ask you for a tip when you pay before you eat. Way overpriced at $22pp for what you get. The atmosphere was like a Zoo too. There were kids purposely throwing themselves on the floor by the buffet, completely unattended while their parents let them loose, and staff did nothing. They're ruining this place! It used to be great. I don't know if they recently changed ownership or managers on or around March/April 2025 but they've made changes for the worse! They changed the recipe for my favorite Kung Pao Chicken and added Sesame all over it and an orange sauce that is very disappointing... They even changed brands of Fortune Cookies and the taste like cardboard! Blah! No soy sauce on the tables. Just a big pot of some generic brand soy sauce near the sushi. No salt and pepper on the tables anymore. Of all things, they do have Tapatio on the table and there's no Mexican food! They could at least have Sriracha sauce instead of Tapatio! No more regular plates. Soggy paper plates instead. You need to take 2 or 3 just to make it sturdy enough to hold and then you get the joy of eating paper particles as part of you dinner.... No wore sturdy plastic cups either. Now just generic clear SOLO cups. Makes you feel like you're at a high school kegger! Small too, so you have constantly ask for refills. Speaking of refills! I have visited this place several times and have never experienced anything like this. Never ever will I go back there again, it's HORRIBLE. Due to allergies, I opted to get my food grilled but the cook gave me what he desired. He was told, no seasonings, no oil and or sauces. He put butter, salt and pepper on my food once I walked away, per customer. Upon returning, I waited an additional 13 min to get my food and it looked so dry. For a meal that takes only 5 min to cook, it took him 20 min. I wanted a FULL refund and I couldn't get it. Why should I be subjected to low standards, while paying $22+ and eating out of paper plates and cups? They're not having a party, its a restaurant. I wanted to notify the owners of the establishment, so the manager gave me the number of another employee, instead of the owners. I used to eat at Oasis Grill way down the 202 and Gilbert Road in Chandler. But they only bring a few crab bodies every half hour, which get taken immediately after I have to stand there for 20 minutes waiting for them to bring the crab out. But here at Hibachi Grill the crab bin is always filled or they don't take long to bring more crab out. However the crab is boiled and sitting in hot water so long the delicate crab flavor is all leached out into the water. So not all the crab taste good. I have to pick out all the meat, mix it with margarine in a cup, and add a lot of salt. It takes me a long time. But Hibachi Grill does not say my time is up and kick me out like I got kicked out of a seafood buffet in San Diego called hundreds seafood buffet. Most seafood buffets even the ones in Las vegas, have a 2 hour eating time limit. I always eat by myself. So I sit at a small table. Hibachi grills price is pretty reasonable for offering all the snow crab, oysters, and other seafoods. I pay $17.95 with my 10 percent senior discount including the tax. Service fairies with a server. Sometimes a survey may not collect my dishes ever, and sometimes I get when who is immediately attentive the moment I leave a dirty dish at the other side of the table they come and take it away. If they are that good I give them a few dollars cash right to their hand when I leave. When I eat at Asian seafood buffets, I usually only eat about 5 out of the more than 100 selections. They are, the snow crab, the salt and pepper blue crab half bodies, the salt and pepper big shrimp, and a few of the sticky rice steamed tamales. My three stars instead of higher rating is because they ruin the expensive snow crab by boiling them away and soaking it in hot water that leaches away the flavor, instead of steaming them dry like the casinos do. read more

I think this place is pretty affordable option when it comes to Chinese buffet. Their menus are either hit or miss; either extremely good or extremely bad. We just happen to be in the area, going to antique stores and came across the hibachi Grill super buffet restaurant. They are doing crab all you can eat for the month of December. There were several different kinds of crab, they have a hibachi grill where you select your own meats and veggies. They have a sushi bar with sashimi. It's usually $20-27 depending on if you go on Saturday or Sunday or if it's a weekday. Selection is insane. The have sashimi, nigiri, rolls plus a hibachi cook & grill. My friend and I have been meaning to try this buffet since it's a bit closer than the one we usually go to in Glendale a bit further away. The place has a huge parking lot and plenty of seating. This place also has you pay upfront (including any drinks) and then you get seated. Slightly different but it worked well! Just remember to get in line to pay first because the workers won't really tell you. Once you hit the food, it's pretty standard for your typical casual buffet. About 4 rows of hot food tables including several soups, fried foods, dumplings, plenty of baked fish, clams, crab, shrimp, etc , 2 rows of cold selections including salad bar, fruit, puddings, jello, and desserts (gotta love the sorbet cups!). You also have sushi, sashimi, and hibachi. The hibachi is great because you can choose what you want and then have the chef cook it fresh and hot. The service here is very nice and attentive which is a bit better than most service I've received at a buffet. Considering it's a standard buffet, I would have actually given this place four stars had it not been for our dirty tea cups. We ordered hot tea and they brought us two cups and a teapot. I like that they give you two tea bags. Unfortunately both our cups were dirty and sticky around the edges. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but I would come back here if I'm in the area and craving variety. read more
