Rotted boards were replaced, warped boards were screwed down to create a consistent plane, and our railing was refurbished by sanding and painting . He was also able to strip off the old paint and bring it to the walnut look we were after. Ronnie knew exactly what type of product to use to get the most performance out of the existing wood. His team was fast, clean, thorough, and took care of every outstanding issue that we needed to feel confident that we wouldn't need to take care of this deck for a few more years. Our redwood deck was a few years behind in receiving proper maintenance, including a sand a refinish. Met with a handful of highly rated deck companies on Yelp and ended up going with Rolando and his team. My schedule wouldn't allow meet during normal business hours on a weekday, and despite the Bay Area traffic, Rolando met with me to review our project. He walked us through various finish and brightening options, including offering to pick up wood to replace boards that we thought may need repair. In the end we decided not to replace the boards due to the fact that they would stand out. After the sanding and brightening you couldn't even tell there were dents and nicks, it looked great and uniform. We even had us do our back fence, which turned out great! The crew did a great job being mindful of our hot tub, posts, outdoor kitchen, and other obstructions. They covered up everything well, cleaned up their mess, didn't create splatter marks, and were very professional. I have a side drum table originally handed down from my grandparents, which was purchased 80 years ago.
