I kept hearing how good it was, and that's not hype- service was excellent, on two visits from multiple people. Selection is pretty darn good for a small local hardware store. It's not tiny, but it's not huge. Lots of options for each thing we needed. Bright and open, nicely arranged, tons of things you need- and don't, plenty of impulse buy stuff set around, so watch yourself. Prices for those, and in general, are maybe a little high, but the location will be handy for many people and you can avoid the hassle and gas use of going to a big box. I have found those products to be very low quality, often breaking after only a season or two of normal use. Neither the shop nor ACE offer any warranty, referring the buyer instead to the manufacturer's warranty. On occasions when I've made a warranty claim, the manufacturers have simply ignored those claims.

They sell used and repaired washers and dryers for only $169 with a one year warranty. Mostly hardware type stuff in there. Nice to have a hardware store in the village. On route 79 before you get to the park at the lake. Its on the left. Great customer service and they dont install hot water tanka but the last took the time with me, over the phone, and hooked us up to someone who could install the tank.

Winter is coming. But nowhere else seems to have it yet. Anyway, they have a ton. Come down here if you need it (winter 2024.) Every employee was helpful and friendly. They have the usual small hardware store selection of other things. I looked at a couple of things I might need eventually. Prices are a little higher than they will be at big box stores, but they actually had what I needed and helped me get it. This is off my beaten path, but handy today, and I will keep it in mind next time I have a project.

My last good find was a giant box of small white tiles for roughly five bucks. I still have a few left but I've been using them for alcohol paintings and getting supplies here saved me a good bit of cash. They also have used furniture and a lot of home materials. Their stock comes from donations, leftover construction materials, etc. and it's nice to know that these things are being reused and not just thrown out or wasted. The staff here is also really friendly and always greets you with a smile. If you're looking to remodel a home or want some art supplies (paint, brushes, tiles, etc) then come here first. Save yourself some money and give back to a great cause at the same time.

I've made several purchases here from toilet seats to a/c filters to spray paint to patio umbrellas. It seems like no one has an agenda to push a big sale. One clerk talked me out of buying a more expensive filter for the A/C, giving me a long explanation why. I have also had several keys made here, flawless! And I just feel happy supporting small businesses.

Went in looking for a tool to remove tiny screws that were stuck in an expensive piece of…read moreequipment, preventing me from opening it to change the peculiar battery it uses. One of the managers selected a tool and spent about 20 minutes trying to remove the screws, even attempting to modify the tool on a grinder. Eventually he asked another employee to help. The second guy went to his car to get some specialized tool, spent another 10 minutes working on my problem, and finally removed the screws. I was pleasantly AMAZED that they would go to all that trouble for me. It was my first time in the store and I was going to buy a $5.00 screwdriver. These guys were incredibly helpful and generous with their time. They have earned a customer for life!

Seems like the local neighborhood teenagers hold down the front desk and the more experienced staff take care of the other operations. Props to them for keeping it local. He also showed me exactly how to use my tools and products. I actually used a mallet for the first time in the store. This gave me the confidence to wield my mighty mallet alone at home. It's a small local business. It ridiculous to think they can price match Amazon, Lowe's or Home Depot. I always go to this location when I need help and I'm happy to pay a tiny bit more for my items. They guys really know what needs to be done.
