The pizza's and wings(triple hot) are very good and the price is great. The single slice for take out is a good value & a fair price, and pretty good selection. The coupons they offer make them a great deal. For delivery, they tend to be very quick. The food, price and delivery - I want to give a 4, but at this point I can only give a 3 star. This is the reason why I won't give them a 4 star, this is partly my own fault as I prefer to pay for food delivery w cash - there's been a trend of deliveries when I've been paying with cash that the drivers don't have any change.... once, OK... 3-4 times now is a different story. I'd recommend for the customer for deliveries, pay with a CC and either pre-tip on the card, or tip with cash. My recommendation for the Manager/Owner - keep doing what your doing - we love the food & but have more singles around for you drivers to swap out. read more

Took a chance and wanted to try this new pizza place in town. Now mind you I already have a favorite pizza place in town but figured lets give it a try. Well we were not disappointed, excellent pizza. The toppings, ingredients all were excellent. Delivery was right on time and the pizza was hot. Great pizza, give them a try its worth. Update: went on a Friday night to pick up pizza, they were slammed with deliveries and take outs. We had to wait while they made our pizzas. It was an inconvenience of course but they made up for it and gave us free soda so at least they tried to make up for it. The Good: obviously good pizza if they are so busy they can't keep up on a Friday night. The Bad: obviously good pizza, they just need to expand the ovens so they can handle the volume. Overall still excellent pizza even though they are still working out the kinks. read more

DONT USE THE ONLINE ORDERING! We've ordered pizza there multiple times via the online ordering system and its never ready at the time it says it will be ready. On more than 3 occasions I've arrived to pick up the pizza and they cant find the order, only to have the printed receipt next to the register. They dont enter the order causing you to sit there and watch your pizza being made in front of you. Just today we placed an order at 5:35 for a 6pm pickup. I arrive at 6 and its not there. Sat there for 30 minutes waiting for them to prepare it and cook it. Had it happen another time for my sons birthday. Ordered food for our guests and had to sit there as they prepared and cooked 2 pies while every at home waited. Pizzas were 30 minutes late from the requested pickup time. The Pizza tastes great, but they need to figure out how to use their Online ordering system. read more

First off delivery takes duckong forever and ive had the drivers for get food.(food usually ends up being cold any ways) once ordered some mozzarella sticks and the lid had was off my mozzarella sticks where all over the bag. We order from Woodbridge on about a monthly basis since it moved here to Vernon. I love the Steak and Cheese Pizza. It is so good. We've tried other menu items as well, some good and some not-so-good. The wings are meh, the loaded fries are probably really good served fresh, but delivery does them no favors. I have had some chewy crust issues here as one reviewer previously stated, but not to the point of no return. I have also had the no change on the delivery driver issue too. I have found that if I tell them that I need change for a $20 that improves my luck and their tip when they can actually break the bill for me. My only other complaint is involving delivery too (see a trend?) I ask them to come to my front door for the simple fact that we cannot hear them if they go to the door at the back of the house. Unfortunately that is where our driveway leads them every dang time. They are there knocking on my garage door and we are oblivious. All in all, the food is good, the prices are fair, just try to be overly specific if you need change or have other requests. read more

While the food may be good here, the wait to get food is ridiculous! I was told 30mins tonight for a grinder and a simple calzone, and ended up waiting an additional 35 minutes at the restaurant. This is not the first time I've waited for food beyond the estimation, but this was just unacceptable. I ordered from this place twice first time becuase it was new and second time was to see if they'd actually step there game up. Mediocre, I love how they state they have fresh ingredients but yet when I got my dessert both times they were frozen at least have things thawed before trying to delivery. Not to mention the first time ordering they forgot half my food and accused me of lying and wanted to see if we had the food!? I'm sorry I don't try and con my way to get free food. The first time everything was cold I ordered avocado wrap which should be cold but my fries and mozz sticks should be hot my husband's sandwich was luke warm soggy the second time ordering I asked for fries instead of chips and we still need up with chips disappointing was really happy for a new pizza joint. read more

Placed a simple order for wings. Was told a 25-35 minute wait. Went to pick up 30 minutes later and they had nothing for me. No record of my order at all. Was told it would be another 20 minutes if I wanted them made. No offer of anything for the inconvenience. No thanks. Walked out empty handed. We have ordered a lot from Woodbridge, and recently moved to Ellington. Thankfully we can still get delivery. We tried a local place that was terrible compared to Woodbridge tonight. Never again. Just ordered online on 1/27/18, wait was 1 hour. After 1 hour and twenty minutes called to see where our order was. I was told they would call me back.. after 5 minutes I got a call back claiming the online ordering printer was unplugged by a customer? Huh? My bank account was already charged. I was told it would be 40 minutes and would I like a free 2 liter? I said no thank you I would like my money back. After a second phone call I was informed that I wouldn't get my money back for 1-2 business days. I really do not want to air this on yelp, but the online contact message system won't let you send any feedback and the email on the Vernon website came back undeliverable. I saw on yelp that people got responses. The young girl on the phone was super sweet. But the service In response was not good. Not to mention the first time I online ordered prior to this, We received the wrong pizza and had to wait 40 minutes to deliver the correct one. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. When they first opened it was so so good and affordable. I the past month their customer service stinks and prices have gone up. I know for a fact because we order the same thing each time. And tonight it tastes like a frozen pizza. They tell u 20 min but don't rush over. It's sad because we like to support local businesses. read more

Second visit was good and bad. Ordered small meatball, roasted peppers, mushrooms, cheese pizza and requested "well done crust". It was fantastic like visit #1. Also ordered small "New Haven" clam pizza with extra lemon and extra well done crust. The amount of clams was SCANT, very disappointing as in barely any clams whereas the first visit, the amount was plentiful. Today's tasted like a White Garlic Cheese Pizza. First visit, they included two lemon wedges, not today. The lemon flavor I enjoy was missing. The crust was excellent, but the pie was a big disappointment. Staff was great when taking the phone order and gracious to bring to me as I avoid social contact with the risk of the virus. Will return and recommend Woodbridge highly. While waiting about twenty five minutes, there was a steady flow of patrons numbering at least twenty and two deliveries by staff. There's a reason it's busy. The definition of insanity, doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result. My husband convinced me to give them another try after my last review. This time we tried delivery. Big mistake. I called before 5:00 pm, provided my address and was told 20 mins. We ordered three orders of wings so I figured since it was early and just wings it made sense. I waiting 15 minutes past the delivery time and was told it was put in as a pickup. I was told they could send them out for delivery right away. Then I questioned how warm they would be after sitting for so long and was assured that they would be fine. Well after 20 additional minutes the food arrived ice cold. Most definitely better to the Woodbridge in Manchester. In fact, I just ordered form there. Been looking for a decent place in Vernon since I moved here almost a year ago. Finally found a place where the crust did not taste like cardboard. You get a fair amount of toppings and they have a good variety. Ordered from them twice so far and was very happy with the pizza. That said I ordered wings last night and I must say I was not a fan. The pizza is really good, but the service has gone downhill since they opened. Most recently, I called at 11:15 on a Thursday morning to order 2 pizzas for delivery. It took a while to place the order because I was put on hold several times during the call. I was told 45 minutes for delivery, but after an hour and a half the pizza still hadn't arrived. I called and was told the driver was a few minutes away. 20 minutes later, someone called to tell me that he was just leaving the restaurant and would arrive in 20 minutes. I really hope the customer service and delivery issues are sorted out, because the food is quite good. read more

Ordered online claimed they never got the order after waiting 40 minutes walked out. FYI I am well aware I called Vernon and NOT Manchester.

We ordered from their on March 3rd. The pizza was OK, and I ordered the angel hair pasta with bolognese sauce and it was great. The sauce was red and very meaty and had a great taste to it. We were told an hour, and it showed up 1 1/2 hr later. We decided to follow up with another order and this time it was absolutely terrible. I again ordered the angel hair pasta with bolognese sauce and this time it was horrible. First, the pizza was not cooked all the way thru, and this time the angel hair was orange not red!. I called and they said that they would resend the order. Here it came again, orange! I called and told them I was not at all pleased and wanted my money back and they could come and get it. On the menu it does not say that they add heavy cream to the sauce. If that was the case, they should have noted that in the menu. Even when you buy the sauce in the store, it is red, not orange. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN EVEN IF THEY ARE THE LAST PIZZA PALCE IN VERNON read more
