Sarah the office manager was amazing at helping me price parts for an estimate since I knew it was going to be a pricey job. She communicated with me quickly via email for my estimate and on the phone with updates. Alan the owner helped me find a used part for my door and saved me over $300 which is a big deal for a single parent trying to budget. Both of them are super friendly and explained the job so that I felt secure in all that needed to be done. Once they received the parts my car was back to me in one day! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for professional and caring staff. Even with a back up camera I managed to back into a huge steel truck. . I got 3 estimates and these guys were in the middle. They had to order my bumper which did take a while, however, given the current circumstances, it didn't bother me in the least. As soon as it came in they painted it and fixed the other damage I had caused. It looks perfect!!! I've read other reviews and I can say that Alan is a little quirky but we banter all the time. *STOP!! Take your time AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU SIGN PAPERS WITH ALAN (Owner)* I took my vehicle for repairs that my Insurance paid him to do. He told me he was "NOT" going to work on the vehicle until he gave me an estimate for other parts of my the vehicle did not get covered by the insurance, so Alan was supposed to give me a quote for those damages which took him almost 2 weeks to make an estimate. Like other reviewers said, he just kept giving me run arounds as well as his Receptionist. Durning those 2 weeks I had found another shop that gave me a quote in just 5 minutes!! So once I told him that I needed the insurance check money back because i was taking my vehicle to another shop due to him taking waaaaaayy to long to give me a quote for a few parts to repaint, he got upset and decided to remove all bumpers, grille, mirrors and handles and even wet sanded the whole vehicle which wasn't even ready for paint at all, just so he can get a cut from the check!! I argued with him because He only refunded me $1,017 out of 3,500 to be exact. He also refused to finish the job that the insurance paid him to do. Alan's paint and labor quote for the insurance was about $2,400. Now I had to put over 1,000 dollars to fix my vehicle. I also got in touch with California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) bar.ca.gov and opened a case against his actions and let me tell you that did not go so great either. BAR went to my house and took a look at my vehicle, took pictures, saw the evidence and agreed that those actions were super bad. Took the investigator over a month to go to Alan's shop and then calls me saying that he felt bad for Alan because he was hurting for money so I was only able to get another check of $500. Took my truck here after I was rear ended on March 22, 2017. Took them until May 12, 2017 to "finish" my truck. They were supposed to replace the rear bumper and muffler. I had to call nearly daily to find out the progress of my vehicle. In the meantime, the rental car company is trying to charge my credit card because I have not returned the vehicle because my truck was not ready within the one week time frame estimated. When they finally called to let me know the vehicle was ready, there were color dots on the FRONT BUMPER where they attempted to color match. Did not even try to remove them. I get into the vehicle and notice the odometer is about 200 miles more than when I dropped it off. I called the insurance company to verify the mileage at the time of the accident, and it was driven almost 200 miles since my accident. I ask the owner about this, and he replies that it is strange and swears no body drove my truck, expect to the car wash. Finally, I go to leave, and he asks me to pay him the deductible. I was not at fault and am not responsible for the deductible. He knows this, but asked for the cash. Why? To top it all off, I opened up the rear door the next day (today) and found that in order to replace the rear bumper they had to remove the door gasket. But, they didn't put it back on. I have pics of everything. Please do not take your vehicle here. Awful experience, no attempt to make it right on behalf of the repair shop. Our experience with Woodcrest Collision Center was quite poor. Here are the main reasons we will never use their services again: 1. They promised completion at a certain time and then when the time came, they said the work was not finished. We went through this at least three times and it was a different excuse each time. Various parts were not available, they were busy, etc., etc. I can understand delays, but because this was a repeated pattern, it got to be very frustrating. If they truly are as busy as they say they are, they should give much longer estimates for completion. Even when we went to pick up the car on the evening it was "done", they hadn't completed the job and were hurriedly trying to finish in front of us, saying that we needed to come back in a couple of hours. Came back two hours later and they told us that they hadn't been able to get to everything we requested. We decided to just leave at that point because the main work was done. 2. The work they did on our 2001 Mustang bumper was quite sloppy. They did attach the bumper properly, but got extra paint on the lights and on our Mustang convertible top. There are spots where they repainted that are not shiny and buffed (not sure why). 3. Their customer service was terrible. When I called to check on the progress of things, their staff would promise that the owner would call me back and he never would. I had to repeatedly call and hope to get the owner by luck. Sometimes he was pleasant, but other times was short with me. I think the owner means well but they completely overbook themselves and then back themselves into situations where they have to rush and the quality of their work suffers. read more

***PLEASE READ*** Do not go to this place under any circumstance please listen to me. I have a 1970 Dodge Dart that Allan (the owner) agreed to work on after I informed him I had had a bad experience with another shop and he assured numerous times before my wife and I took it here, that he would not do that (what the previous mechanic did rip us off) and to trust him since he has restored vehicles for a very long time. So in good faith we took it to him. Approximately a little over 2 months have passed by now, and he has had my car and every time I go there or get in touch with him he gives me the run around since he has not finished my car nor is he working on it, and to top it off he had outsourced my vehicle to a street mechanic to finish it for him which he did nothing. He also was suppose to paint my engine compartment since the previous mechanic painted it and it looked horrible, but all he did was apply a sealer, a black layer of I don't know what, and he sprayed the new paint on top of that and in my opinion it looks horrible and not worth the $600 we agreed. He agreed to remove the old paint since he knew it was not applied correctly and I informed him how the paint looked and how it came off easily, prior to him painting it black, but his paint feels and looks the same. Allan now states that for $600 what do I want and if I want a nice looking paint job I need to pay him around $3,000 just for the engine compartment. Additionally, I was mostly interested in him finishing up my engine, putting it back together, but he has now done what appears to be nothing because it looks identical to when I first dropped it off, most of the parts I took to him uninstalled. I am now very sad and frustrated because Allan made my wife and I believe he has been in business for a very long time and this, what we are going through, would never happen with him. I call him to ask him what else he needs and his answer for the most part is: I am busy, I have other cars or I still need to get to it. He advised he was going to get it in and finish it as soon as possible. This is very sad and unfair, so read this and judge for yourself and save the trouble of dealing with a man with a very bad heart in my opinion. Hopefully this turns out for the best since this will be the second time, but before you get in a mess with Allan's shop, consider what others have posted and think 5 times, not twice before dropping your car off to him. Took my Chevy Tahoe for a paint estimate on a Monday at around 3:45pm. Alan (owner) came out and looked at my tahoe, took pictures of my tahoe and said it would take him about 45 mins to write up an estimate and he would contact me the following day! 12:30pm the next day (Tuesday) still no call so I called him. When he answered he said he was currently finishing the estimate up and it should only be about 15 more mins. I am writing this review And it is now Friday of that same week and still no call regarding my estimate. What a shame, I was gonna pay cash for an entire paint job.... he obviously doesn't need the money and can you imagine how long he would have kept my tahoe if he can't even provide an estimate In a timely manner. Don't take your car here! I brought it in after a minor fender bender I was in. When I first dropped it off Allen told me that it would only take a week or so because the parts were already ordered and should be delivered within a day or two. Well after not hearing from them for 2 weeks I finally called and a woman answered and told me the parts had just come in the day before. My car sat there for 2 weeks! I had to pay for a rental car even longer then expected. Now it's been a month that they've had it, I called the day I was told it would be ready( which was a Tuesday)and the same woman told me it was just painted, however one of the tail lights was out and they were waiting to hear from my insurance and it should be ready on Friday. When Friday came around Allen called and told me that it was "in line to be painted" and the line was backed up, I was so mad and also was at work sitting next to my boss so I just replied with an "ok no problem." However, I am without a doubt picking it up Monday whether it's finished or not, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find it sitting there without a bumper just like when I dropped it off.
