This was not a $20k or 30k job - it was much bigger. So we had to be absolutely sure of the craftsmanship, the customer service, and more. It had to be fully custom and absolutely world class quality to fit the quality of the home and kitchen remodel. Summary - they delivered beyond my absurdly high expectations. From the very start, my designer had a good feeling about Mike - he was very upfront and transparent, and his whole team was full of nice people. Shelly is very responsive and helpful even with the basic things - you can tell right away they care a lot about attention to detail and to customer service. We hired Mike over 5 others we considered, and he was the most expensive bid actually (not by too much, by about 5% more than the 2nd highest and about 10% more than the lowest). Hiring Dickinson Cabinetry proved to be one of the very best decisions we made in our 1 year long remodel. In the middle of supply chain issues and Covid, Mike was always honest about the timeline. It was a bit longer than I would have liked but that was no fault of Mike's - everything was delayed. But Mike was honest and helpful and level headed about it all. Then came the product and install date. Mike's team, led by Raul, came by for delivery right on time in the morning and let me just tell you - the QUALITY of these cabinets and the wood island is absolutely obvious. The craftsmanship is superb. If you know nothing about cabinets, even then it's obvious. That's the great thing about great things - everyone can tell it's great! Now here is where it starts to get really amazing. We had a few issues and changes requested. Joe was the man here - he was super helpful along with being such a nice guy. He never got annoyed at my small requests and it was clear Joe & Mike wanted my family to be 110% happy. Antonio came by to do touch up work and is a very patient and talented guy. He must have come back 4 times - each time with a smile on his face and endless patience to get it perfect as I wanted it. Antonio did a great job fixing up every little nook and cranny I needed help with - just an awesome job. Some other cabinet makers might make nice cabinets. The Hyatt has nice hotel rooms, too. Mike, Joe, Antonio, Raul, Shelly - they are like the Four Seasons. Every little detail is world class. I have enjoyed every conversation I have had with every member of this team because everyone is just so nice and customer focused and patient. Along with the cabinets being a work of art themselves oozing with quality. Jan 19: Paid a $600 deposit (Total contract: $1,700). Estimated cabinet arrival was the first week of February. Feb 20: Cabinets arrived, and I notified you via text message on yelp. Feb 23: You visited to inspect the cabinets. This is when you noted they were heavy, required panel/filler trimming, and needed two extra helpers at an additional cost. I explicitly agreed to this without issue. Feb 23 - April 7: It took ~43 days to schedule a start date due to your availability/reasons etc. You mentioned helpers were unavailable on Fridays and Mondays, so I agreed to Wednesday/Thursday, April 8th and 9th. During this entire period, you never mentioned I hire another contractor to complete the job. So do not make that claim! April 7: I texted in the afternoon to confirm the time. You canceled the April 8th appointment citing family reasons. I replied, "No worries and Take care," and offered to move to April 9th or push to the following week April 8: You texted confirming arrival for 10:30 AM on April 9th, then changed it to 11:15 then 11:40 AM. Ultimately, you did not show up and texted that your van had problems. April 9 (After No-Show): I was frustrated after all this and I asked if you were still interested in this job. You replied "NO" over the call and told me to move forward with another contractor citing it requires a lot of work, extra helpers and cabinets being heavy! April 9: I requested the $600 deposit refund via Zelle and the return of the cabinet installation drawings. You stated this would have to wait until the next week. April 17: You dropped off the drawings. I gave you one week from the cancellation date to refund my deposit. May 1: From April 9th to May 1st, you just gave me dates and never made payments. After repeated calls and texts, I received only $250. You claimed Zelle had a limit and required 72 hours. May 7: Received $170. May 15: Received $100. May 19: Received $80. Would you have accepted this behavior if a customer had paid you this way after you completed a job? Please acknowledge that this experience was a complete waste of time. I am not here to defame anyone; I am simply sharing the factual experience I had with you. You may be an excellent woodworking craftsman, but that was not the experience I received!

The quality of the cabinets is very high and they look great! We used a pretty wide array of finishes, from glossy and matte Mirlux finishes to Cleaf wood-based panels in multiple varieties. Our project included bi-fold upper cabinets, appliance garages, a printer drawer, a charging drawer for a hair dryer, coffee center with pocket doors, and so on. They turned out great. There were some hiccups along the way that initially caused some frustration - these were limited to a few areas, but we felt the day to day impact of these was hard to just ignore. What really impressed me about owners David and Tammy (and the rest of the Woodenbridge team) was their openness to discuss our concerns in a very constructive and solution-focused manner. There was never any finger pointing or deflection - just a focus on what could be done to get things as right as possible. As a result, virtually all of our concerns were addressed through their willingness to listen, suggest possible resolutions, and implement what we mutually agreed would be the best way forward. This type of positive can-do attitude and sincere desire to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction is really rare these days. They also emphasize their lifetime warranty and willingness to come out and adjust things as things inevitably become misaligned and need tweaking. As a result you feel confidence that you have a long-term partner in keeping your cabinets performing in top shape for the long term. My "advice" in any extensive cabinet project is to take your time, double-check all the details, and over-communicate as needed to make sure everyone is on the same page. There are enough potential gotchas and options that it's best to align often to avoid potential misunderstandings.
