Love supporting the small business, the employees are always so helpful, the store is always clean and I always am able to find what I need. Recently, they started offering grooming services at their Salmon Creek location. I decided to give it a try. Brittany is amazing, my dog was clearly in need of a grooming, and she came out looking like a different dog. She looked and smelled amazing! I highly recommend you give Brittany a try. The quality and the pricing can't be beat. We have found our new groomer! I've been searching for a dog food for my very picky Maltese. Saw this location and reviews on yelp and thought of giving this place try. Amy greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told her how my Maltese had several gum surgeries and teeth extraction and looking for a small kibble she could chew. I asked about Acana brand and Amy said the kibble is not small. Amy suggested Fromm brand and was very generous with the samples which she thought would work. Unfortunately, I gave the Lamb & Lentil Recipe and she ate some but was not thrilled. Tried giving her again the next morning, but she didn't care for it. So I gave it to my daughter's dog who eats anything & everything. Next I tried Hansen Duckenpfeffer but again only ate a few kibble. I tried putting some topper on the food, but then she would try eat only the topper, but still didn't eat the food. I did leave the food down for about 30-45 minutes and remove it and try again in another hour. But, still she wouldn't eat it. I thought maybe because I mixed her old kibble in with the new, but I tried with just giving her about 12 kibbles of the one type of food. I tried the Game Bird Recipe, she did eat this the most, but did not finish her food. Gave her the Acana Heritage sample Paleo formula, but she did not touch it. So I guess I'm back to my search for other dog foods. I need to find something, because of introducing new food 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and finally the new food by itself. I just wanted to write a review to say how impressed I was with Amy. Her friendly attitude and knowledge on the dog food impressed me even though my fur baby doesn't care for the brand food. I am surprised that this place has been here for a year and no one has written a review for this year. The owner mentioned that they just hit their first anniversary. I came in with my pup and was greeted by a cat in the front napping in the cage and a dog that lays in the back of the store. I love local stores because of that personable experience you can never get with a large pet store. Since my pup is picky with food, I thought I would ask for a suggestion for dog food. The lady was very knowledgeable. The place is very reasonably priced with some higher end food and some moderately priced foods. She recommended nutrisource for my picky pup so I hope that she will like it. I am getting a little tired of hand feeding the pup. The store is clean and organized plenty of choices with treats that are available to choose from. There is a bulk treat section where you can fill as much as you can in a bag for 3 dollars. :) My pup found the cheese biscuits to be delicious. Btw, if you are looking for a locally made bed for your pet, the own makes fleece lined beds for sale right in the back of the store. If you are a pet owner in the neighborhood, this is definitely worth the place to check out. Support your local businesses! read more

Well, I just logged into Woodin' You Pampered Paws website, to be sure of their store hours. I read a horrible review from a customer that bought, I think treats for his two dogs that seemed to have medical issues. What this customer said in the review, just did not sound like he was talking about WYPP......They have been in their current location for a little over a year, I think. Before that they were near Fred Meyer in Salmon Creek. We have been getting our Bichon food there for many years....they were recommended by our groomer. I have always been so impressed with their knowledge, pleasantness and always greets you by your name............that has always amazed me.....and is a plus for their business. I am sorry this customer had issues with the product manufacturer.....but, I just cannot believe anyone at WYPP would be rude.... read more

This place is truly a gem in Vancouver. It's a family owned business that knows how to treat their customers right. I purchased three single bowl dog feeders and was very satisfied with not only the price but the construction and communication to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Love this little shop! Customer service and then some, very helpful and friendly. The inhouse dogs and cats were super cute and sweet. My only wish was that the inventory could of included more items for a tiny dog. I appreciate the time and attention given to us on our first visit with our puppy. I moved into the area early this year and went looking to find a family owned small pet business that can meet my pets needs. Well I found it! They even have free delivery. My Beagle has some specific feeding requirements that the store owner was able to help me with. They did not have my brand (but offered to bring it in for me) but were able to point me to a new and actually better food that what Casie was eating. This place is an absolute treasure! We stopped in to inquire about some new food for our picky and slightly overweight pug :-) the gentleman was so helpful and pulled up on the computer our pugs current food and talked about the good and bad ingredient of it ect... He gave us a little Baggie of breath freshening treats free for us to try for Mojo (our pug) he was very nice And gave us great advice :) the store is very clean and I like that their own two cats greet you as you walk in, And the sweet as can be black lab is sleeping on the dog bed by the back desk... We will be back again and again to get our Mojo treats, toys and new healthier food!! This place is a must go to! I love you can bring your dog in too :-) great family owned company!
