I have to say first and foremost that I really really like the owner of this nail salon. My last experience was not exceptional. I got a basic refill on solar. The same day (an hour or so after) some of the white tip broke off. I have 5 kids so I have little to no time to myself let alone to get this fixed. I also asked if they could at least change my toe nail polish and they acted as if they didn't have the time. And yes, I had made an appointment. I was charged $35 for a refill, that definitely seems high especially since my nails look horrid. read more

Yes this place is an Asian owned salon...but this place is actually the cleanest Asian joint I've found! Let me tell you that I'm so picky and I like my stuff done correctly that I just do it myself (I'm a licensed cosmetologist) but after finding this place I don't mind coming here. I had a full set of Solar nails put on at this location. The salon was clean, sanitary, and calm. Lan, my nail tech was really careful and did a great job. She asked me a lot of questions to make sure I got the nails that I wanted. I have been to some places and they just grab your hand and go to town, and what you get is the luck of the draw. She asked me about, length, shape, color, glitter and thickness of the nail. She also didn't try to sell me a pedicure or waxing at all. At other places I have been nagged to buy a pedicure the whole time I had a manicure. I will definitly go back to this salon, and I would reccomend it to a friend. Oh, and she never hurt me! No burning from the drill, no over-zealous filing and buffing, no cuts, and my new nails are not sore at all. I think I paid $33 for a full set which was less than what I was expecting to pay. read more

The pedicure was subpar. I was not asked which pedicure I wanted (regular for $20 or deluxe for $35), and had I known that I would have chosen the $35 deluxe but I guess she didn't feel like doing the extra work or earning the extra money. She rushed through the service, and I could have done a better job at home. She cut my toenails very short, and left polish on my skin. After I was done drying, I went to the counter to pay, and the girl was on facebook on her phone. She barely looked up long enough to say "twenty." That was is no thank you, no smile nothing. I just moved to the Spring/Woodlands area and I am in the search for a nail salon that will compare to the one that I've been going for years in southwest Houston. Unfortunately I did not find it here.....I went in to get a Shellac manicure and was disappointed with the selection of color choices. Also the color that I chose did not come out as the model that was on display. When the old color was being removed, it was a bit painful and took longer than usual. The only reason why I would go back would be for the price, otherwise, my search continues. read more
