I initially did not like this place that much until a newer lady (never got her name, just knew by face) joined in 2018 and started doing my brows, and I was so amazed by her carefulness and gentleness that I had a hard time being sent to the other ladies working there and would even queue up for as long as 30+ min so she could thread my brows! I even had a hard time going to other threading salons because she was so good. She left a few months ago and every time that I come here now and get a different lady, I'm literally just on the edge of my seat with lots of anxiety that they don't hate me and mess up my brows because I had a strong preference for my threader. They turn out fine most of the time, but I experience redness from the pressure they put on with the thread and constantly working on the same spot. It's a hit-or-miss place and it always hit when my favorite threader worked on me but now it's literally a gamble between hit or miss when I get thrown to the first available lady. Still, can't beat the $5 price for decent threading and they probably don't have any competition for that price point.

I think she should've done at least 3-4 coats but only did two.. colours are suppose to be opaque but no.. I came home and luckily had a colour that was similar enough to paint on top. Overall, not returning for nails. Probably wouldn't even return for brows.. the place is tiny.. uncomfortably small but if you're really on a whim, give their threading a try as I do see a lot of people come in for that. I thought the nail tech lady was nice but she did leave paint on the cuticles. My biggest issue is that, when I was paying, I was given a total of $40. With tax that came to maybe $43-44. Totally fine. But when I asked to tip $15 on the card, rather than add my tip to the after tax amount, my new total was 55, and I was then taxed on the tip amount, which inflated the total by a few dollars more and is not standard practice because in addition to being tax on the tip, they also charge a credit card fee. This was basically the equivalent of tipping at a restaurant, then having the venue tax you on that amount. Not acceptable and not cool. Def bring cash for tips or avoid altogether!
