We worked with the same salesman, Bill, as my folks did and he was very good. He is very knowledgeable about his products and very willing to work with you to fit you with a good product at a good price. What I liked best was the price they gave you was the price you sign for. I got 4 other estimates from a mix of box stores and local stores and the price each provided kept fluctuating. My install was last Friday and besides one hitch, which was remedied quickly, I am very happy. The carpet looks great. The installers were clean, efficient and courteous. We had this all done at a really busy time for us (in hindsight, this was the mistake on our part), as we all know that these days, if you want good-quality work with installs/contractors, you have to micromanage and helicopter it, it seems. We took his word for it on a couple of things and shouldn't have. When he came to measure, I pointed to a spot where there is a dip in our basement, he said they would repair it upon installation. I was at work when the carpet was installed, and when I realized a couple of weeks later that the dip was still there, he tried to gaslight me - saying they would never agree to repair something like that, as it is not something they do since it would be concrete work, to repair a basement foundation issue. He said someone would come check it out, but they never did. It's been 2-3 months now. I had also asked him, while he was at our house, how much would need to be moved/put away. He said, "you don't have to worry about anything but just the little things and anything breakable". My husband questioned this the night before installation, as he noticed the contract stated that most things needed to be cleared, but I told him not to worry about it because Jonathan said we didn't need to. The crew tried to charge us extra fees for having to move stuff or said they would come back another day after we took care of it, but they then wanted to charge us $200-300 for not getting to do the job that day. We fought back on this, so we ultimately did not pay this fee. Jonathan was very condescending throughout this whole experience, playing dumb and somehow forgetting what he said to me. Don't trust what he says and just read the fine print.

I emailed Dovetail and included pictures of the piece. They responded that they could restore it and asked me to bring it in. I drove it over, they gave me a quote, and an expected finish date (I believe it was about a month away). I paid a deposit (half the restoration cost) when I dropped it off. When it was ready, I picked up and paid the remaining invoice amount. The restoration cost wasn't inexpensive, but the piece looks really good and their restoration may have given that piece some new life! It's ready to be used for another 50 years! Highly recommend reaching out to them if you have a piece that needs restoring: fast response, good work, on-time completion.

I was in Satyr Hill Shopping Center on E Joppa RD. for lunch after visiting HD in shopping center next store and saw a new cabinet store a few doors away. I stopped in and was immediately greeted by Bulent. I explained that cost was a big factor in my selection and believed that he could not even get close to the price I already had from HD for unfinished ready to assemble cabinets, Bulent indicated he had time and was willing to take a look if I had time. He took my existing design drawings; I had made and he entered into his system and made a great rendering for me to see, then he had some great ideas and made some suggestions on improvements that I thought would add extra cost. The first price was much higher than HD but he suggested another selection of cabinets that did not have as many color choices but something close (wife needed to approve) The new price was close and they came assembled and painted saving me some back-end cost. Went home discussed color with my wife she agreed that this would be a good option, next day I went back and placed order expecting a long delivery. Few weeks latter they call to set up delivery I asked them to hold a few weeks and they did without any problems. Delivery was good and units were inspected and repackaged before delivery, all in great condition. First problem came up and here is where a company fails or shines. I had a small problem with shelving and Bulent jumped on the problem like they were his cabinets, he kept in contact with me every day to resolve the problem and did not stop until the problem was resolved to my complete satisfaction. I was ecstatic with his resolution; this is the mark of a good salesman and company. This company shines. I spent most of my life in customer support and a small problem resolved is great way to show pride in the company. Quality of the cabinets is great, fronts, backs, sides and shelving are all real wood, not particle board. In this case they are being used as storage in my master bedroom where I do not expect them to be in contact with water so I could have used MDF but wood is so much nicer. Great salesman, great company and product, now they even added large screen in their showroom so you can see your design in progress. Highest recommendation, I do not do this often. I was taken back to the counter and in a scene from a used car salesman he pounded on the calculator for what felt like forever and then said oh it will be this much. It was such a high number from the estimate I had gotten from them and from other companies. I said can you explain the price break down. He seemed so mad that I asked. Then I tried to look at his paper and in the corner in small print was some calculations. He couldn't explain what he was using for the prices and blamed it all on tariffs. I said ok and started to walk away. He didn't care. He made a face. Actually the whole time I tried to engage him he would make a face and move his hands in a " I don't know what's going on fashion". It wasn't overt but it was there. I had measurements in to their system so clearly I was there to make a purchase. I just can't believe bow I was treated. I mean I stood and listen to the other salesman while this jerk went to start his complex math calculations and they were explaining thickness and differences. I learned a few things actually.
