Been using Cox since 2018 and they're always responsive, quick, and what I think to be well priced (but I also do have to get a lot of plumbing work done). Our first house was rather old and still had cast iron piping. We had one of the main pipes break and they replaced it from the 2nd floor down to the basement. We had a leak coming from our master bath and they quickly found the leak, fixed it and created ans access panel for us. We also had issues in our guest bath and they were able to repair the pipes. In our new home, we also had an issue that our shower head was leaking. They responded to my request in less than an hour and came same day to fix is. They didn't even charge me an "emergency" fee, which most plumbers do when th3y come on such short notice. They're polite and respectful. Long overdue review. I highly recommend this service provider based on skill, customer service, and reasonable prices. In 2019, my old water heater stopped working two days before Thanksgiving. As I do with most things, I went to Yelp to research companies. Cox Plumbing had strong reviews and they were local. I called and Osaro came out that afternoon to provide an estimate for repair or replacement. It was determined that the repair was not a cost effective option compared to replacement. The quoted price was $500 less for a Ruud water heater than the nearest competitor (I always get multiple quotes for services such as these and you should too). A full install was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving. Within a few hours the water heater was up and working. However, on Thanksgiving morning there was no hot water!!! Peeved, I called Osaro about the issue and frustrated because my meal preparation and subsequent dinner would be ruined. To my surprise, and relief, Osaro got to my home within an hour of my call on Thanksgiving morning!!! He discovered that my HVAC unit (which he did not work on or touch) had a minor propane leak at a connection that was close to the water heater. The safety sensor on the water heater shuts it off if propane or natural gas fumes are detected. He tightened and sealed the connection but had to get a small part for the sensor (the part needs to be replaced if it is tripped). Of course, being Thanksgiving morning, the supply house was closed. Osaro called the owner of the supply shop, whom he worked with often, to explain the predicament. The owner agreed to meet him at the shop on Thanksgiving morning to provide the small part ($10 only but critically important). Osaro drove there picked up the part and installed it before I even cajun fried my Turkey. Hot water was working in time to prep the bird and wash up for supper. That is A+ service. He could have easily brushed me off until after Thanksgiving and no one would have begrudged him. One year later, I have had no more issues from the water heater. Also, I have found the most customer focused, reasonably priced plumber in the area. Five stars. Highly recommended. No hesitation. read more

Soon you can't flush, wash or do anything without water coming up the basement drain. Business owner is dishonest and not professional. He sent two plumbers out to fix two leaks, one in the bathroom faucet and the second below the faucet for $265. The plumbers did something to the faucet and drain, but didn't actually fix the leaks. I informed the owner the next day, and he said that he'd come and personally fix it himself. He came out and checked the leaks and said that I needed a new faucet and acknowledged that his plumbers didn't do the appropriate job. He also said that I would get a credit back as well because the $265 quoted must have been more than his labor charge for replacing a faucet. A few weeks later, I purchased a faucet and made an appt with the owner. I made an appt for a specific time and saw that it was getting close to him being 40 minutes late. I called him and he said that he's running late and will be at my place shortly. He arrived one hour after the appt time. He then replaced the faucet and left. I called him back because a part seemed loose in the drain part of the faucet. He returned and apologized saying that he forgot to tighten it. After he had left, I remembered that he was supposed to give me a credit. When I texted him about, he lied and said that what he meant was that I'd get a credit if I didn't allow him to do the job to replace the faucet. See photo of our text conversation. However, I separately asked him for quote to replace a faucet and he said $150. See second photo of his quote. Request: I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom that was causing water spots to appear on my living room ceiling. The ceiling was starting to show a rippled texture and was wet to the touch. Service: The plumber was on time and was in contact with me through text as he was making his way to my house. He came and tried several things to locate the source of the leak. He found a small leak that was located behind the water spout and said its pretty common for newly renovated homes to not have the correct nozzle size. He actually came prepared with the correct nozzle in his car and was able to tightly secure everything in one visit! I appreciated how prepared he was. He also was able to cut into the ceiling to check for mold (there wasn't any, thank goodness) and patched it up. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable of what he was working on. My tenant was having issues with the hot water heater: the water was turning cool in the middle of a short shower. One company came out to diagnose, and the tech insisted the situation was dangerous and dire, requiring a complete replacement of the water heater at a cost of nearly $2000! We noticed a leak in the ceiling and called a plumbing company we've used a couple times in the past that we had great experience with. They were unavailable to come out, so my husband found Mr. Cox based on Yelp reviews. My husband called and arranged the time for Mr. Cox and team to come to the house to take a look. He found that the wax seal around our master bathroom toilet was the culprit to the leak, and offered a reasonable rate to fix it. However, I really wanted a new toilet altogether and inquired about the cost of install. Mr. Cox gave me a reasonable rate and even sent me a couple of different cost options for a toilet. Upon removing the old toilet, more issues were found that Mr. Cox brought to our attention. My husband and I have our first child on the way, so we were working on a very limited budget --- cost creeping up is something we definitely cannot afford right now. Mr. Cox was informative and explained everything and the cost involved. He was willing to work with us on the final cost which we REALLY appreciated. We had a very disappointing experience and would not recommend Cox Plumbing. Over a month ago we arranged to him to come out and install a new shower. They arrived and worked for several hours and then said they couldn't finish the installation and would have to come back later. After one no-show appointment, they came out 2 additional times and concluded they needed to acquire a replacement part from the manufacturer. Finally we set a time for them to come and finish the job, only no one showed up for the appointment. No one answered my call, or responded to voicemails or text messages. Over a month after starting, we have only a halfway installed shower, and apparently some defective hardware although I don't know exactly what the issue is.
