Excellent service. The staff assisted in the restoration of my wife's childhood bicycle. They did a beautiful job.

Timely service with a tradition built by a tried and true Sewanee Tiger. The best little bike shop in Tennessee!

If I wanted a "attitude", I would find a shop that carries high end Italian gear like Pinarello, Campy, etc. Two times and I'm out. The first experience I had with this employee was just after I arrived in Alabama, driving here from California and needing a competent wheel guy to true up a wheel that lost is true either through rack vibration or heavy winds or both. I didn't bring my truing stand with me for this trip. The bike was on a rack with the wheel exposed off the side of the van. This employee doubted the cause of the wheel going out of true from what I described. LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE! The second experience was just last week when I needed a presta adapter. As mentioned, I use local shops as much as possible for small parts. The adapter was 2x that price on Amazon. I asked this same employee whether they "keystoned" the markup or if was tariffs or something like that. I got attitude again and a smarta** response. He said he didn't know what keystone pricing (GOOGLE IT) is and if I can educate him, in a condescending manner. I did purchase the adapter. I ride a KHS Team 29'r and do most of my own work on it. I usually use local shops to pick up high margin accessories and have always had a great relationship with the shops I've used. Mostly because of their commitment to quality customer service. The independent bike shop is a tough business. Believe me, I know by experience. If this shop can afford to be represented by this kind of employee, more power to you and good luck in this market.

Thank you to Michelle at Bicycle Cove for all the help! I love my new bike. It was affordable and…read morefits perfectly.

I called ahead and booked a Saturday appointment, and from the get-go, Steven was awesome. Super knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and just had that vibe like he genuinely enjoys what he does. By Monday, I got a call with the repair estimate--accurate to almost the dollar--and the bike was ready exactly when they said it would be. We've never actually met Steven in person, but you can tell when someone takes pride in their work. That definitely came through. We've been brand-loyal to Trek for a while now and have never been disappointed. On the rare occasion something wasn't quite right, it was always handled without hesitation--no hoops, no drama. We originally bought our bikes in Arizona and were looking for a go-to service shop in this area. The Chattanooga location checks all the boxes: great service, solid people, and it's in a cute part of town with plenty to do--makes turning a bike tune-up into a fun day trip. Highly recommend if you're a Trek fan or just want knowledgeable, no-BS service. Worth the drive!

Well, my wife and I walked in and a Project One Domane caught my eye. Jeremy, the store manager, and I talked for about 30-40 months minutes before he geared me up and I took it for a ride. When I came back I made an offer on the bike and then my wife and I went to lunch and returned an hour later. We agreed that I would spend a bunch of money and in return get some level of discount on just about everything I was going to purchase. I found them easy to work with, reasonable throughout the process, and helpful with getting the bike set up and fitted. Whenever I'm in Chattanooga I pop in to say hello and have also purchased gear from their affiliated Atlanta Cycling stores.

But if you're like me and you DON'T own a $1,400 Specialized high-end-wannabe-Lance-Armstrong-Tour-De-France bike, this is a great place for you. I highly recommend this place for anyone who bought a bike off Craigslist and just needs a normal tune up without the added bicycle-guy pretension. Bring cash as Joe doesn't take credit cards. And be mindful of the very adorable storage policy - you will get charged $1 per day if you don't pick up your bike after three days of when it is ready. He does have some pretty sweet vintage Schwinns in great condition for about $150. I did take off one star because as soon as I test rode my bike, something fell off of it. BUT, Joe did get it back on in less than an hour at no charge. So...maybe just a heads up to take it for a spin down the block before you are on your merry way.

The shop is crammed to the gills true and you can't walk through it due to this but it didn't even matter. The owner of this shop is the real deal he told me the entire history including options available on my 78 schwinn metrocycle and even gave me a shift cover for free. I will certainly go back. I can not stress the knowledge and courtesy of this owner enough.
