Woody's has been a staple in Moses Lake for years. The call ahead service was great to use and helped with ease when we got to Woody's to pick up. Sadly this is where it turned for us. Our food wasn't as tasty as we were used to, and the fries weren't cooked all the way. Finally, the cost was quite high for what was received. read more

Drove into here before but came in with a fresh mindset. Got a double burger asked for only lettuce ketchup and cheese, they also put a slab of ham on it so that was a bit upsetting but nothing I couldn't take off. Just shouldn't have to. Very friendly service and relayed my order back to me. Got a large thin fry and medium crinkle fry. Thin fries were Amazing. Just like McDonald's used to make em. Crinkle fries were okay but not terrible. The drive thru exit isnt labeled very well so it is possible to accidentally drive into the exit. I still believe this place is worth all 4 stars. Regardless of the burger mistake. It's a bit spendy so not an everyday eat but good food. read more

Okay food, good service, convenient location, astronomical price The Bleu cheese burger was mostly bun and lettuce, and the bun wasn't good at all. I asked for a chocolate peanut butter shake and was given a chocolate banana shake. The employee who made the mistake apologized and made the current shake. The shakes are okay--they're made with soft serve ice cream, which isn't quite as good as the old-fashioned kind. The place is easy to get to and has both walk up and a drive thru. Prices are absolutely outrageous. We spent 40 and change on two burgers and a medium milkshake. read more

Have been going to Woody's for decades, and they never disappoint. Staff is very friendly and service is great for as busy as it can get. Have prices gone up? Yes but where haven't they? Haven't been to Woody's in quite some time and I gotta tell you the prices blew me away! We walked up to the outside window and waited in the heat for someone to take our order. They finally did and we waited another long while until they announced that our 3 small Sundaes were at the other window already partially melted. Three slurps and a bite later it was gone! The burger was standard small town burger joint fare, nothing extraordinary. The fact that a medium sized, non-specialty burger (bacon was added for $2.50), with shoestring fries and a diet coke came to $15 was shocking to us. Added to that the fries were less than 1/3 of the way full was an unwanted surprise. For $15 we would typically get a specialty burger or a shake back in Seattle. Stunned to pay more in Moses Lake and have so few a fries that we couldn't share between two. We will be going to Campus U Tote 'Em next trip and skipping Woody's. read more

For a small town the price is steep but the food is good. Service can be unfortunately slow but they make the food fresh to order so no real complaint. This is always a go to Friday night arrival in town kind of place. Plus the variety and volume of menu options ensures someone can find something to eat or some kind of treat. read more

On our road trip our family was getting hungry and decided it was time to try a fun restaurant not to far off of I-90. (just shy of 3 miles.) Driving up we saw a drive through but it didn't look to RV friendly so we parked off to the side and crossed the street and walked up to the window. The employee who helped us was friendly and very helpful. When i asked him what fries he preferred he said the skinny fries. Our family consensus on the fries were really well seasoned and tasted good. However, the burgers stole the show. My wife and mother in law got the Jody special and stated that they had not had a burger like this in over 10 years and was a wonderful childhood memory brought back to life, it was juicy, mouth watering, and full of flavor. It is really big and could easily be split between two people. I had the Jr. Bonner and it was really big and filling it had good flavor, maybe not the best I have ever had on a barbecue kinda of burger but was still really good. My kids enjoyed there kids meals they had the chicken strips and the other got a cheese burger. Overall we all were happy to have come across this place and would definitely recommend it to others and return ourselves. read more

Wow...just wow...their prices are insane! A small peanut butter chocolate malt is $6.75 + $3(malt powder) + $3 for extra flavor = $12.75 for a small shake! That's ridiculous! Oh top of that there's a $0.75 credit card fee charge. We always used to stop here when in town...last time. read more

I stopped in at this place for just a small snack. Ordered a junior cheese burger with extra pickles. Got a burger that reminded me of a McDonald cheeseburger and NO pickles. I've had bad service here a number of times and when I called them out on it the owner responded like this. She basically said she didn't care about the crappy service and then pretty much said McDonalds is beneath them so if you want crap go there. If this is the kind of place you want to go to have at it but with her attitude I will never return. Plus the food is average and extremely overpriced. read more

The prices are way too high. The food quality was marginal at best and the wait for food was extensive. I highly recomend they reevaluate their business model as it is not built around delivering a positive customer experiance. Amazing combination of thick shake and sundae? You got it at Woody's. I had never heard of such a thing (Boston Shake) but now my husband is smitten. Good thing we don't get to Moses Lake too often. The also offer a colossal 32 oz. shake., whoa! Burger was tasty, yummy chicken sandwich, service was prompt and polite, and they even have a blast-from-the-past neon sign (although repainted.) I did get sticker shock ($31+ lunch for two!) but was pleased with the nosh. Would give 5 stars, but the price is holding me back, especially after seeing mention in other reviews. Ah Woody's Drive -In, a classic part of the greater Moses Lake area. They offer a variety of shakes, malts, floats, and other creamy delights which compliment a summer's day. Alongside their shakes they also offer up burgers, hotdogs, and fries. I would recommend their classic chocolate shake or malt. For an out of towner, this was like stepping back in time to a scene from Grease or The Outsiders ( the restaurant had the vintage feel, but not the vintage taste). Go check Woody's Drive In out. Ok, this place is a landmark here and definitely deserves its status. There are a couple good burger places here in Moses lake, rock top is fancier but this place has just better burgers. They are just wonderfully big and filling, and there are tons of fun unique burgers here. I love their crinkle cut fries and their milk shakes. Their fish and chips are really good too. They are quite busy so plan to give yourself time to get your order or call ahead. If you're wanting a classic burger, Woody's is the place. You will leave heavier and happier. read more

This is a local burger joint as it should be. A staple of my childhood, the hot place to hang out after classes at Frontier Junior High and my must-have for a taste of local flavor whenever I'm back in town, Woody's hasn't changed over the decades I've been going there, and thank goodness for that. Woody's best offerings include the elusive cherry dip cone (why aren't those offered everywhere?! I love the waxy taste and unnatural color), outstanding burgers (my fav is the mini deluxe with cheese) and fries, and perfect old-fashioned vanilla cokes. I was so excited to head east after a 5 year hiatus, but I recently had leaned that the Arctic Circle in town had closed for good. I was so upset, because I was hoping to get my fry sauce fix for the year! I pursed through the other suggestions on Yelp and found that Woody's was the only other place in town reputed to have the elusive fry sauce, so of course this is where we had dinner while in town! Although not a true drive in, they do have a drive thru here and some tables outside to sit and dine at. We were lucky to find one with some shade. I ordered a Jade's Special, a small sized burger with 2 1/8 lb patties of ground sirloin, two strips bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and FRY SAUCE (of course!) I also ordered a medium fry and extra fry sauce for dipping. The burger was a little small for my hunger level- on the menu it sounded huge but was not super big when I got it. My friend's burger on the other hand was the larger sized one and was pretty damn big. The burger was fresh and the meat tasted really good. The fries were super, super salty. Next time I think I'll order them sans salt. The fry sauce was OK. Not as good as the other place, but in a town (and state) with a scarcity of fry sauce, it did the job beautifully. Prices were right where they should be for the quality of food. I would gladly come back and stop at this Moses Lake institution for another burger and more delicious fry sauce! read more

Came here on a whim after passing it by several times in favor of chain restaurants. Boy was I surprised! I got the skinny fries with fry sauce, (wasn't too hungry at the time to order a big meal) and as soon as the bag entered our car I was overcome with the amazing smells of fried food and nostalgia for small diners and when times were a bit simpler for me. The fries were almost perfectly cooked to ultimate crispness and the sauce had me drooling. I would go so far as to say the fries I ordered surpassed McDonalds in quality and the overall good feeling of having ordered from such a neat little drive in made the experience sublime. Whenever I get a hankering for some good old fashioned fast food I'll be certain to stop by again! read more

We went out of way to come into town for lunch at Woody's, we won't do that again. We waited at least 20 minutes for our food and then our burgers were cold. My partners' burger was dry and flavorless with a patty similar to a McDonalds plain hamburger, he took only a couple of bites and took the sandwich back - the staff did not apologize for the food or poor service. We absolutely love Woody's! We make it a point to stop there whenever we're in the Moses Lake area, which is unfortunately only a couple times a year. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is fresh cooked and perfect every time. They even give our dog a small sundae with a milk bone while we wait! I was born in Moses but it wasn't until I moved back from Tennessee that I discovered this little gem. I never pass up a good huckleberry milk shake. They have good chicken strips and fries that are always fresh. They have good sized portions and I actually tend to order the kids meal definitely one of the best foodie spots in town read more
