I stopped by today to bathe a rescue we pulled from the city shelter and this place was amazing! It was my first time to utilize the self wash facilities and the staff was so helpful. The resident puppers stopped by to supervise and the experience could not have been better. WOOF provides everything you need and more to get your pup cleaned up and smelling fresh (wash/conditioner, rags, face cloth and apron so you don't get soaked). I am so glad we found this gem and will definitely be back! read more

Woof is a little off the beaten path for me, but I made the track out to them because an old business acquaintance recommended them. The store is nice, boutique kind of nice. It is spacious and inviting and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I was helped by Steve, who gave me a tour of the store and was super nice and helpful. They even have a do it yourself dog wash! I was impressed to see the quality level of foods that they carry for both dogs and cats, though the selection for cats was pretty slim, which I found a little disappointing. This place is geared for dogs and since I have a few of those, I was satisfied! read more

I need to preface my review... the ONLY reason I am giving this place four stars is due to one employee I have encountered twice... everyone else has been amazing. This one employee needs an attitude check and truly has ruined two of my visits... one so much that I straight up LEFT. She seems to only work during the weekdays... so possibly avoid that and you will have great service! Having two large dogs, we LOVE the self-wash station! Keeps all of the extra hair where it belongs... NOT in my tub, haha! They also have pretty sprays for afterward as well as stuff for tear stains etc. For sure repeat customer, but avoiding weekdays unfortunately... seems like they could get someone that would be nice to customers and love dogs... possibly I don't know... smile instead of scowl constantly. read more

Amazing service and such a cute little store. I brought my dirty dog in after we went to NorthBark and I got to wash her in their facility. They had everything and more that you would need to wash your dog. They were so helpful and even gave my German short hair some doggy ice cream, which she loved! The lady gave me some pointers on some good dog treats and I decided on the duck head. My dog loves it and has already eaten half. Highly highly recommend, woah I lived here full time so my pointer and I could enjoy it more often! :) read more

I LOVE WOOF! I can't say anything but nice things about this place. I am a new fur baby mom. So I was new to EVERYTHING! My sister & I love going here. The nice ladies there do care about our fur babies! I always get nothing but the best service. My teacup chihuahua didn't want to eat anything other than boiled chicken :( and they took the time to test feed him different foods to see what he liked, he had a mini food testing, sniffing & nibbling session. When I have questions they always help! I always go in for one thing & leave with a thousand. I recommend Woof to everyone. Seriously love this store! Thank you so much! read more

First time there to wash my shih tzu. No one was at counter so stood there for a minute and made my way to "wash room" area. Attendant was helping other customers. No greeting, no acknowledgement, until I spoke. Attendant seemed he was on his 1st day working there. I had to ask for everything and how to use equipment. Wasn't friendly at all. To dry my dog was difficult because there's nowhere to put him after I washed him just in the wet tub...I mentioned he's a shih tzu. No blow dryer, clippers and brushes were full of hair from previous dogs. Last time there. read more

With a 16 year old black lab, groomers often turn her away because they don't want to cause her stress. She is the most gentle and amazing dog ever and just wanted a bath. Bathing her at out house became difficult as her joints started to become weaker, but finding this place was amazing. We had a great time using the dog wash and everyone working was so helpful. All for $15 the wash included shampoo they dilute for you, conditioner, a bath, and a dryer with brushes, combs, and ear cleaning products. I highly recommend this place and your dog will be so much more comfortable with you bathing it rather than a stranger. read more

This is the only Pet Store in all of Dallas that is a Gold Paw Dog Fleece/Pullover dealer! I first discovered Gold Paw at Bow Wow Meow in San Carlos, CA. I got it for my friends' dog, Jax, who is a small Shihtzu and gets cold easily. BEST. DOG. (and cat) STORE. EVER!!!!!!!! Come on, what can beat Wilbur the Pug as the storefront's mascot? Nothing! This store carries all the fancy five-star food I have to get for my pup (Acana, Pet Curean, Orijen, Stella & Chewy's). It also has high quality toys, leashes, and clothes. There is also a huge treat section where the dogs like to hang out at. You can also find random bits around the place like pet-related bumper stickers, magnets, pet-themed clothing!! I can't get enough of this place. Employees were friendly and helpful. If you come on a lucky day, there might even be some free samples tables where you can get free treats for your dog(s)!!! They also have a customer rewards program where you have to spend a certain amount to get $10 off(?) on your next purchase. Love, love, love! BTW - toys might be a bit overpriced, because some were listed for $10 cheaper online. But the quality of everything here definitely beats PetSmart's. read more

This was my 2nd time in here and I really like all they have but was very disappointed with the worker there she was very quiet, stand offish and not helpful at all. Not friendly. Maybe it was an off day for her. I Don't know... they need way more variety when it comes to Bone Broths for Dogs and Goats milk. They only carry 1 brand! I took my dogs here to use the self service dog wash. They were some what busy with 1 person checking out at register. I waited for the lady working the register to set me up at the wash. She then proceeded to check out 2 other customers. I decided to wait by the dog wash but then i was asked to move away because the owner's dogs were getting agitated by my dogs. I went and waited on the sales floor. Once the clerk came to set me up she wasn't sure what i could do with my other dog while I washed the other. I suggested that I could put him on one of the drying tables and if someone needed to use it I would move him. I decided that the owner and employees really had no ablity to show good customer service and I washed my dogs at home. I haven't been treated that rudely in a long time. read more

This shop is absolutely amazing! Not because they have products that can't be found elsewhere...wait. They do have products that can't be found anywhere! I've spent months trying to track down a specific formula made by my dogs' favorite brand of food (yep, I'm as picky as my dogs...don't judge) and have come up empty each and every time. I was about to give in and start ordering online (*shudder*) when thanks to Yelp, I found Woof and MJ, my new favorite small business owner. Not only did Woof have my very specific brand and formula of dog food, MJ was a wealth of information about all things related to my dogs and their care. I have yet to encounter an employee at a pet supply store that really, truly knew what they were talking about. MJ not only knows her stuff, she's willing to gently steer you in a different direction if it means giving better care to your critter...even if it cuts into her bottom line. That, my friends, is priceless. I also got to meet the store mascot, Wilbur, a very personable Pug and his foster buddy, Meatball (who I hear is very close to finding his forever home). This is an owner who walks the walk when it comes to her love of animals and the proof is in hearing her talk about her passion for what she does. On top of selling high-quality dog food, Woof has just about everything you need for your dog. Treats to beds, collars to clothes, shampoos to accessories. I didn't find their pricing to be any higher than other stores that sell higher-end items and when you throw in the reward program (every $200 spent gives you a $10 store credit that can be used on non-food items) the prices become very affordable indeed. Bottom line, if you're looking to make the break from the uneducated kids in the big box pet supply stores and support a local business owner at the same time, give Woof a try. A fellow dog lover told us about WOOF while we were at the dog park. Saying my gf loves her puppy is an understatement. Naturally we had to check it out. When we walked in you could just tell it was such a friendly environment for dogs. The owners dogs were there playing with customers dogs. We brought our little Morkie Cooper to check out some of the harnesses, and accessories. We ended up ordering him a new ID tag which was very nice. We were also able to find some nice new food to change it up. They do carry a lot of foods and natural brands that you do not normally see at your average pet shop. A very nice little store, and seems to have a very strong following. The staff there were very open and honest when we asked about the different foods or products. They had all kinds of great stuff for Dupree (treats, chewies, toys, carriers, high quality foods, dog (and people!) clothes, prints, cards, posters and more - so much stuff in this little store!) My dogs & I always like looking at shops and I especially love small businesses. I wasn't, however, blown away by Woof. I felt like yeah, they had some neat items but I was expecting more! Their pet food is what is giving my rating a 4 star. Lots of items and no main-stream dog food. But on the retail section, It felt pretty empty. Perhaps certain items weren't selling and they did away with a bunch of retail but that just means that's one less shop with cool novelty items. Visited Woof yesterday. The store is very beautiful and the staff was friendly, laid back, didn't mind answering questions and recommending things (not pushy at all). I really enjoyed the selection of novelty pet items including collars, leashes, beds, toys and even things for the humans such as tshirts and beach towels by teddy the dog. The co owner was very nice and she really took the time to show us around the store and explain to us the different high quality dog foods her store offers! I also like that I can get a variety of commercial raw food for my new puppy in pretty much all the brands available on the market such as Primal Formula (my personal favorite), Stella and Chewy's, Nature's Variety and another brand that I can't remember at the moment. Besides the friendly staff, cleanliness of store and variety of products they offer such as grooming and training, the knowledge of their staff is what i really value and that definitely beats out the retail chain stores such as Petsmart and Petco. To my surprise and delight, I personally found the price very competitive to another company that i am highly fond of which is Pet Supplies Plus and BOTH of those stores beat out the chain owned and operated pet stores. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something special or just a great place to buy high quality dog and cat food. Ps. This is a cute little shop for dogs and dog lovers. They have an impressive variety of toys, treats, collars & leads, apparel, etc. Friendly and knowledgeable people are on hand if you are seeking something specific or if you have any questions. We purchased our doggy carseat from WOOF a few years ago and we're still quite pleased with it. Our little juggernaut would run all over our car if we let him, so we needed a solution for our wandering mutt. The folks at WOOF were very helpful and the raised carrier we purchased allows our little shorty to peer out the window and stay safe and secure for long drives. GRRNT loves Woof. They have a great store where we host Meet & Greets a couple of times a year. They have an amazing selection of food brands: dry, canned, raw, dehydrated, and frozen. You name it, they probably have it, and so many options for dogs with dietary issues. They also have a great selection of treats. Their staff has always been very gracious and helpful during our Meet & Greets and our volunteers look forward to our Meet & Greets there so they can stock up on supplies. Nice place, friendly service but the owner intrudes and always has some criticism about how I could "do it differently". One time is cool...twice is OK, but every gd time I'm there and she arrives there's something I'm doing wrong. The last time I visited, in the middle of washing my dog Mother Nature screamed my name and I had to drop everything and hit the ladies room. I was gone less than 10 minutes and my dog was secured. When I returned, she literally chastised me for not telling someone where I was. "We looked all over and couldn't find you. We thought you left..." Really???? You thought I disappeared and left my pet there? Did you not think that maybe I ran to the ladies room? I get it that leaving the dogs unattended is not good, but I didn't walk away to shop, smoke a cig or talk in the phone. She chastised me like I was her child. That was the final straw. I'm writing this review hoping she will see it. Chill out, lady. Watch how you deal with customers. I felt like you were micro-managing my entire experience , and it was a complete turn off. I value your experience with dogs, but you do too much. I found another place where they don't try to coach me on how to treat my dog...and nobody's verbally spanking me for going to pee without telling them. WOOF! read more
