Finally we were able to stop in and were greeted by some very nice employees that offered our pup a little treat, posted a happy picture on the Facebook page and let us peruse what they had available. I've had great experiences in the past with Three Dog Bakeries in California and Kansas City but this one really let me down. I just moved to Plano and wanted to order a birthday cake for my pup's GOTCHA day. I went to their website which says you have to call to order custom cakes which is no big deal. Too small to care about customer service. Clueless employees that will mess up your order. Do not put your celebration in the hands of these careless ladies running an overpriced dog bakery. I placed an order via the phone and specifically told them, "make sure you put 'Happy 16th Birthday Zeus' on the cake." However, when I come to pick up the cake the ladies behind the desk had my order under a completely different name and were missing the "16th" on the cake. The clueless ladies behind the counter then began to say "well this one is yours... do you need anything else?" I was shocked by this response and said "No this is not what I ordered... you all forgot the only thing I told you to have on the cake... THE AGE!!!!" They then all looked at each other like a deer in a headlight. Called on my lunch break and swung by after work to pick up a cake. Super easy! I chose the 6" celebration peanut butter bone($23.80 with tax) for my boy's 9th birthday. Upon pick-up I was given storage and feeding instructions. The cake was well-crafted, the handwriting was neat, and it smelled really good! My dog recently turned 10 so I threw him a doggie birthday party. I found this place online and luckily they had a cake in stock last minute for me. The staff was super nice and friendly and I really appreciated their help a lot on what to order. I was able to order what I wanted for my little guy, and all of the dogs at the party loved it! The bakery can customize the name and they even have different flavors for the dogs, and I believe all of their ingredients are all natural. My husband and I have been to many Three Dog Bakery store fronts before (Arkansas, Multiple in Dallas, now here). And I've never experienced customer service like I did here. The only reason they have 2 stars is because the products were up to par with other stores and after 10 minutes the girl working made it right. They had 2 of the same bones marked with one price and when I checked out it was another. Instead of honoring the marked price the worker said "well it rang up different so we can only give that price." I asked for a manager but none were in today. She decided to text her manager. After a few minutes she said "it's her day off, I'm not sure when she'll text back." At that point I was highly disappointed and told her that we were regulars in Dallas but recently moved here. I was easily about to spend $80-100 and would walk out because it's poor customer service to mark a price and not give it to a customer for that price. Sadly, after saying I'd walk out the worker decided to honor the marked price. Luckily I have found out there's another store in Frisco whom I can give my money to and I won't be back to this Three Dog Bakery. Hopefully the owner/management can talk about customer service and honoring mistakes that were made by the store. read more

4th year buying a cake from here and my personal experience have been good. I usually order the cake ahead of time but this time I admittedly ordered late, as in the day before their birthday. Each year they tell me they're not sure they can fit two names but then every time they figure it out. When I came they told me I had to order in advance and I told them I understood and proceeded to ask if they have any plain cakes available at all. Luckily they had one left and it was in the shape and flavor I wanted so it worked in my favor. If you want a specific shape and flavor definitely order in advance. They were able to accommodate my request to write on the cake and for that I'm thankful. But not one person acknowledged him. I know this sounds like a Karen, but I almost walked out bc i thought maybe dogs weren't allowed inside. My dogs loved them and devoured every single last crumb. You can also buy other goodies to spoil your dog with. They have collars, toys, clothes, and other fun stuff for your pooch! My sister and I stopped by here to get some treats for our pups. The store name indicates that it is a bakery but they offer all kinds of items for pups, such as toys, leashes, clothes, and more. The bakery is pretty impressive. They offer a wide range of food, including kibble, dehydrated food, small desserts, and big cakes! The flavors go from savory to sweet. We ended up getting a few small desserts, including cookies and cream cups. My sister also got them a toy that they ruined in 10 minutes (they are big lab puppies). The store is located in West Plano, in a shopping center near a Wal-Mart, I believe. Overall, this is a cool place to spoil your pups with, especially with tasty treats!
