Unfortunately, my very first Auto Ship order was a terrible experience. I placed my order expecting it to arrive on time, but it never did. What made the situation even more frustrating was that Petco's own systems couldn't agree on the status of my order. One part of the website showed it as "Delivered," while the tracking page still showed "Out for Delivery." Customer service couldn't explain the discrepancy. I have security cameras covering my property, and there was never any delivery made to my home. Since my dogs couldn't wait for Petco to figure out what happened, I had to go out and buy another 40-pound bag of dog food myself. That completely defeated the purpose of signing up for Auto Ship in the first place. When I contacted customer service, the only options offered were a refund or a replacement. While I appreciate that they were willing to refund the order, there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, the time I spent trying to resolve the issue, or the additional expense I incurred to make sure my dogs had food. The entire reason I signed up for Auto Ship was reliability and peace of mind. Instead, my very first experience left me stressed, frustrated, and without confidence in the service. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I canceled my Auto Ship and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope Petco improves the reliability of its delivery service and communication so other pet owners don't experience the same situation.

A few hours after when she should of arrived I texted her why hadn't she been there and she said she'd been there for a couple hours. Seemed odd but I blew it off. Then we used her for a week vacation and we had a security camera in the kitchen. I had asked to never let pups go more than 6 hrs at most without going out. At 10 hours when she hadn't been there I texted and she said she had been there 3 hrs before. We confronted her and she admitted she lied. We said we are watching closely so if it will be more than 6 hours let us know. Throughout the week she was late several times because truck broke down, raining too hard to drive, couldn't get a friend to drive her, and then she acquired a car and It too broke down. I could of been understanding about all this but seeing in video she didn't pet or talk to our animals was so upsetting. We have two small lap dogs that she we never saw her pet she just pushed them away and said calm down, same for cats. It broke my heart. I only write this so other pet parents don't go through the same ordeal.

Everyday when we arrive we are greeted with smiles and love. My Bella gets so excited when we pull in and the staff really love their job. You can feel the love when you walk in the door instantly. Just a great place with great vibes and you can tell everybody loves it here. I noticed a significant difference in my cats behavior when she is visiting verses when I would leave them to 'fend for themselves'. The updates she writes are thorough, well detailed and always include a picture. Each visit includes an invoice in advance with time for you to make changes if needed. She's dynamically handled several pet type situations, 2 cats, 2 cats indoors with one cat outdoors, hamsters, toads and even cared for a litter of 7 kittens I am fostering most recently for a week. She will feed fish and water plants too. She also handles my large dog 80+lbs with ease. She genuinely likes the animals and I've already got another visit scheduled. :) She's awesome.
