My daughter and I stopped here while killing some time downtown for a quick coffee and she wanted to try the macarons. The owner is unbelievably friendly and seems to genuinely love what she does. We ordered a 6-pack, some hot chocolate, and a coffee. My daughter went on and on about how good the macarons and hot chocolate were, so naturally I had to try both. I'm not a big fan of macarons, but these were absolutely delicious. My daughter said they were the best she's had and she considers herself a macaron expert!! I found this place a month ago, and i went there almost ten times. Their interior is very pretty and fancy, also they use pretty plates for serving bread or macaroons. I love blueberry scone and croissant. When I ordered iced latte at first, it tasted so good, but later it doesn't taste that much good. I don't know why. read more

The manager and staff went out of their way to help me thank the nurses and techs who cared for me during an emergency procedure. I called the Woops in the morning, explained my desire to thank the people who took great care of me at the hospital, and they completely understood where I was coming from. They had in mind the way hospitals have to approach treats under stricter sanitation policies, and worked hard to package their beautiful macarons into little boxes tied with ribbons. They worked all day and put together the most beautiful treat boxes so I could deliver them to the people who worked hard to keep me healthy and safe. I am so impressed by Woops, not only because they make delicious and beautiful treats, but also because they are dedicated to community, joy, and gratitude. Wow! What a fantastic place! First of all, it's beautiful and bright in the shop and it doesn't look like a Tucson place and further inquiry will have you know that the owner is from NYC and has a wildly success shop in the Bronx! Glad she decided to come to Tucson too! Secondly, the pastries and cookies and macrons themselves are AMAZING and beautifully done. The people helping you are enthusiastic about the product because what they have is delicious! I believe the owner said that the croissants are imported direct from France and the Belgium waffles are straight from Belgium! The energy is great, the place is beautiful and it's nice to see a place on university Blvd with such class and not over run by mooching Uni students. Breath of fresh air! I came in this morning to pick up a box of macaroons for my mother for Mother's Day. I had my 2 year old son with me and I got him a cookie as well. The lady so kindly gave us a broken cookie for free for him as well. I misplaced my debit card and I was trying to find another card to pay with. She said to not worry about the cookie and that we could just have it. It was so sweet of her to give us 2 free cookies. I've always loved Woops! but this was the best experience by far. After a dinner that we weren't impressed with, this place redeemed my husbands birthday! We were greeted by two girls with big smiles offering up their amazing baked goods!! We had pecan pie, coffee, nutella rugelach, and they gave Jorge a free lemon macaroon since it was his birthday! The place was so cute, and I loved the old fashioned small dishes that reminded me of my grandma, and fit the deserts perfectly! Everything flaked and melted in your mouth, and there was a large selection of macaroons and pretty to go boxes. My husband actually said it was the best "cookie" he's ever had! Tucson's first bakery specializing in one of favorite treats ever.. and I live 2 blocks away. I am in trouble. Stopped in while waiting for my to-go dinner order on University just to check it out, and was very impressed. Store was done very well, and everything looked delicious. This place is Macaron HEAVEN. Some of my friends have mentioned Woops!'s steep prices, but considering the location, the charm, and the quality I think they are priced well. $2.50 per macaron.. and boy are they good. Ashley was super sweet and let me try a strawberry macaron on the house and it was delicious. They also offer croissant sandwiches, tarts, and a small selection of other baked goods. I came by last night with friends to try their macarons. We bought 6 macarons for $15. The filling is good but how come all the shells is soggy? I was expecting a snap when I bite into the cookie but nah... imagine you bought some good macarons and leave them in the fridge for 2 days. Maybe it's just my bad luck. The interior brings me right to Manahttan's upper west side.... but the staff are even nicer and more helpful. This cute little shop is located on University. One of my friends loves macaroons. We stopped it and we were provided some samples. Yummy!!!!! They were really amazing. There are about 16 flavors to pick from. My other friend and I talked my friend into getting a box of 12 instead of six so that we could some of them. The lady working was very nice. read more

It pains me to give this review about their macarons because they are SO NICE here; but, since this is the season for get-togethers, I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. Their other offerings do look good. I spent more than $50 here for a few macarons to bring to a party. Since they were so expensive, I thought they would knock the socks off of everyone. WRONG. Their macarons don't taste like ANYTHING. They have absolutely NO FLAVOR at all, whatsoever. If they tasted disgusting, at least that would have been an icebreaker to talk about. Regardless, I was VERY EMBARRASSED to have brought them. If you want macarons that won't make you look like a fool and taste good, you can get a great deal right now on Tipiak macarons imported from France at Costco for less than $20. I believe there 36 macarons in a box. This may be a seasonal item. read more

Woops is such a cute little spot to get some delicious pastries. The service is impeccable and the coffee is really good as well. Their location is little and convenient and very pretty and clean. My only criticism is that they do not have any vegan pastries. I feel like if you're going to have a business on university, 4th ave, or anywhere downtown, vegan options are a must. read more

This is a great find to relax and enjoy a shot of espresso with a cookie in the middle of University Blvd. The shop is small but very cozy. This place will always have my business when I'm in town! I recently was invited to a bachelorette party and was unable to make it last minute. I wanted to send the bride to be something "sweet". I called in to see if there was any chance they could place a last minute delivery order and not only did they make it happen they made it happen fast!!! I've been here a few times. Once to get coffee with my girlfriends and catch up, and every other time, to buy myself a 6 pack. I'm a pretty stingy coffee drinker...okay, okay, I'm a snob. I had their iced coffee and was pleased. Nothing to write home about (ironic since I'm writing about it) but I drank it without yearning for sugar and cream to mask the flavor. I would definitely go back and order coffee from there again. My friend got a latte and she enjoyed her drink as well. It's the simple drinks that I judge a coffee shop on, because if the easiest ones suck, the difficult drinks just get worse. But again, not the case here. So, these macarons are literally heaven. I'm an avid viewer of baking shows and the macaron process is one of the more grueling baking tasks. Because of my expertise, I feel that I can say every now and then I get a macaron that hadn't quite set right prior to baking, making it too airy and slightly crisp. However, those are few and far between, and honestly, we can't expect perfection with anything. But what makes up for this, is the variety and creativity that goes into the flavor combinations of the macarons. Alright, the PB&J one isn't unusual, but I feel like every time I go in there, they have a new flavor, or different options for me to choose from. As well as the staple flavors like red velvet. I can't remember the full name of it but it was passion fruit something or another and by golly it was delicious. The downside is the storefront is small so there is enough seating for like 6 people and every time I'm in there I feel a little smushed. Also, I've been in a time or two where they had a very limited selection. They claimed to have not gotten their order or been waiting for a delivery but it's still sad to go out of my way to spend ~$15 on flavors I either don't LOVVE or have already tried. Of course, even with a "low" stock, there were still at least 10 options. These guys go to bridal expos and they offer a ton of cool options for wedding favors, non-traditional "cakes", gift ideas, and they pass out free samples. read more

Excellent, creative home made pastries of all kinds. I love the chocolate date drops, these huge and healthy globs of deliciousness. The staff is very nice and friendly and they have good internet access, electrical plugin to charge your devices, ice water on tap, a classy atmosphere, and are right in the heart of Main Gate Square.
