Came with my boyfriend to get him some prescription glasses. The people are very kind and helpful and suggested some glasses we may like. They even adjusted some glasses for him when trying them out. The employees did not get impatient with us and in the end my boyfriend got some he was happy with. The shop has a good variety of glasses for all ages and so many different styles. I decided to get prescription sunglasses so I visited Woori late on a Saturday afternoon. I hate buying things like glasses as I don't have a good sense of style and I usually rely on my wife to make sure I don't end looking silly (think George Costanza buying ladies frames). Anyway, the Woori person was great. I told her that I wanted something stylish. She picked out several options and we decided which was best. It was so easy I literally couldn't believe it. The glasses were ready by Tuesday and price-wise, a pleasant surprise. Great service and great glasses at a very reasonable price. Woori has been the best optical experience I have had in my 20 year vision assistance. Becky has got to be one of the sweetest ladies in any business! She has so much grace! I went in not knowing anything about this place (yea not even had read the yelp reviews) because I needed new glasses immediately. I didn't have any expectations but she had such cute frames that I instantly discovered my perfect individualized frames that spoke to me! I told her on the spot (surprised at my finicky self) that I found the frames. She gave me a great deal on them as well that I just couldn't pass up :) I was appalled when she gives me the news that my glasses would be ready in 30 minutes. WOW! I was gonna walk out of there with brand new beautiful eyewear that day!!! Usually I have to wait at least a week in order for my glasses to be ready. She also informed me she does on the spot vision exams and contact lens orders. Great! When my glasses were done, I asked her to adjust them to my liking. It took some patience to get them to work! And she was so sweet she did not make me feel rushed, or like I was annoying her at all! That already makes u WIN over other kinds of businesses who you can be just a number to. Bought an amazing pair of frames from Garrett Leight on Abbot Kinney, but when they quoted me $290 and a week of waiting for the prescription lenses (are they serious?!) I decided to go elsewhere to get my lenses. So glad Yelp led me to this place!! I was a little surprised to find a small counter inside of a grocery store, but went with it and couldn't be more pleased. The woman who helped me was very sweet and had me in and out in 20 minutes. I LUVVVVVVVVVV Woori Optical. To make a long story even shorter, I had no insurance and needed glasses like a fish needs water!!!! I googled inexpensive eyewear and Woori Optical came up. I was bit of a skeptic, but after speaking with Becky I knew it was worth a shot. I desperately needed glasses, especially for driving at night. Woori Optical is the BEST! I came in with my year-old prescription and got my first progressive eyeglasses from Woori. When I received my glasses, I noticed that my distance viewing was not very sharp. When I mentioned this to the owner (Becky), she was so kind and gave me the option to get an updated prescription. I went to my eye doctor and sure enough, my prescription had changed from a year ago! Becky from Woori Optical re-did my eyeglasses FREE-of-charge! She didn't have to do that since it was my fault for bringing an old prescription. She's a true professional and wants her customers to be fully satisfied.
