Hey stopped last night . . . and happy to report the beer was just fine. Nice temp, nice color, nice flavor. I had the Aviator IPA and the wife had the Gravedigger made with Pumpkin and other spices. The barmaid working late was also a treat as she made time to talk to us and we had a nice conversation. Hope to stop in again soon for their Happy Hour. Only reason my rating isn't a 5-Star is atmosphere. Nothing fancy and no reason to try and make it something is isn't. Nice neighborhood place to have some good beer. Chipotle Gouda bacon potato Pierogis 10/10. Like a loaded potato. Can taste the cheese and bacon flavors, then the end there's a little bit of a spiciness to it from the chipotle. Potato was creamy. Nothing was super overpowering. Great flavors together, they mix well. read more

Visited Working Class Brewery one a weekday evening. When I arrived, there were only a couple of customers, but by the time I left, quite a crowd had gathered (It was a Thursday night). I ordered two tasting flights comprised of the following brews: First flight: Bricklayer Brown Ale (6.7% ABV) Gravedigger Pumpkin/Spiced Ale (6.0% ABV) Arbeitnehmer Schwarzbier (5.4% ABV) American Blond Ale (5.0% ABV) Tunners English Style Special Bitter (4.5% ABV)... Second flight: Minuteman New England IPA (6.6% ABV) Aviator IPA (7.5% ABV) Tinner's Red Ale (6.0% ABV) Snow Job Christmas Ale (7.0% ABV) Oil Rigger Chocolate Stout (6.0% ABV) My faves were the IPAs and Red Ale in the second flight. Stopped here to taste the brews and got a fantastic flight of 5 beers light to dark. I really enjoyed the peanut butter stout - clock out. Being a retired UAW worker, I enjoyed seeing all the signs and stickers from other locals and workforce. I plan to decently stop by when I can enjoy more beer. Looks like they are planning to offer some food too. They have trivia on Wednesday's, open mic on Thursday's and TVs for your sports needs. 3.5 stars, an A-Ok place. This review is a long time coming. I actually stopped in around July of 2018 to pick up my Cleveland Brewery Passport and get my first stamp. I was in before 5pm so before the after work crowd which was nice. I'm not a big fan of loud packed bars so being able to chill, talk to staff a little bit, and sample a flight of beers in peace is ideal for me. I tried the Peach Blonde $2, Wing Walker Raspberry $2, and the Clockout PB Chocolate Stout $2.50. I don't remember anything good or bad about the beers, I should probably return for another sampling... I do remember that they host different food vendors and one time they had these pierogi people in and that was lovely. I checked out Working Class Brewery on Friday for Happy Hour, where they had $1 off 20 ounce beers. I tried the Jager IPA which was $7.50 with the happy hour discount. They also had another IPA that wasn't as hoppy that was tasty as well. The service was friendly and attentive as we sat at the bar. It also filled up as time went on. I love the theme of the place, especially how employees who clock-in with an old school punch clock. They do offer food now (pizza and wings), but it's separate from the brewery and is handled by another gentleman working a table. It would be a lot easier to integrate these two together so you can just add it to your tab - but at least it's something! We ordered the margarita pizza and it was great. read more

Overall, I really liked this brewery. It's a fun atmosphere with outgoing bartenders, bar bowling and darts. They have a decent sized wrap around bar, high top tables and booths. It's located in a plaza so parking is a breeze as well. They offer a number of beers, but no food aside from bar snacks (chips, beef jerky), so don't come hungry. I got a flight of 5 beers for 10 bucks. I enjoyed most of them with the exception of the smoked bock-that campfire taste was just not for me. I ended up liking the blood orange IPA best. They also had a pineapple and cumcumber IPA, which my friend really enjoyed. They offer three sizes for beers which, in my opinion, are average priced for craft beer. This place is within walking distance for me, so I'm going to have to make a few more trips in the coming months. I had a decent time here for only my first visit. The guys working behind the bar were very nice and kept checking on our drinks. The beer was tasty and certainly got the job done. I tried their Jagger IPA and another pale ale. The space was pretty open with empty tables but almost all of the bar spots were occupied. The place was freezing inside on a November day. I'm not sure if that's because I stopped in around 4:30 when they open at 4, but you might want to hang onto a warm jacket just in case. There's no food served at this bar but I noticed a sign outside indicating for you to bring your own. There's a popcorn machine inside if you're just looking for a snack. I noticed a sign on the wall for $12 growlers on Wednesdays. That's a steal! I'll certainly come back to investigate that. There's also a mini bowling game to occupy your time. New brewery located in a strip mall. Clean industrial vibes inside. Smaller relative to some of the other breweries that recently opened (Noble Beast, Saucy Brew Works), but plenty of tables and bar seating. There is no food menu but they provide complimentary pretzels which is a nice touch and good palette cleanser between beer tasters. They also have a popcorn machine and may provide this complimentary as well, but the machine was not working while I was there. I got the flight of beers which, in true working class fashion, is a terrific price point with 4 5oz pours for $8. I got the Berry radler, jagger ipa, cocunut rigger and vanilla rigger. I wasn't overly impressed with the beer however and this will be my biggest hurdle in returning as a customer despite friendly service. All were decent but nothing stood out amongst the now very competitive craft brewery landscape. read more

Out of all the ones I had my favorite would be the Magician. The atmosphere was fun and light. Always looking for new brews. Stopped in here the other night for a drink and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of offerings they had. For a small brewery they had about 16 different beers to choose from. Everything from a smoked stout to a Berry Radler, something to suit a variety of pallets. This is a bring your own food establishment but they do offer complimentary popcorn for snacking. The staff are fun and cheery and make you feel right at home. Asked about growlers/refills and they are a little pricey compared to some other local places. What a fun little place. The Belgian triple was DELIGHTFUL. Dare I say it? It was just as good as Duvel and some other big name brands. The bar was really clean, beer was good, staff was friendly, music wasn't too loud, popcorn was fresh...what else could you want? I guess they have karaoke Thursdays at 7, this is an untapped GOLD MINE. One of my pet peeves is when there's a ton of people at karaoke night--I have always liked when my friends and I can take over (also sorry to other people we have always annoyed the heck out of--even having the audacity to try to sing with them...eke). Visited this place for the first time last night. This is my old neighborhood and grew up right around the corner, so I'm super glad to see a small brewery open up here. Had their peanut butter porter and the Aviator IPA, both were fantastic. The porter had the distinct aroma of peanut butter and the taste on the palate was just as authentic. Following a porter with an IPA is difficult as I didn't give a chance for my taste buds to fully reset, but the hops were present in abundance with a nice piney aroma. Definitely not a west coast style IPA, but a style all it's own. This place has only been open for about 8 months and they have already nailed several beer styles in short order. I expect more good things from this awesome little microbrewery. If you're in the West Park neighborhood, do yourself a favor and pay it a visit. Cleveland is already, imho, a top destination for beer enthusiasts. This place just adds more proof to that opinion. read more

We have been to many beer tastings, conventions, etc. The beers here are amazing. We had the tasters. I really can't tell which was my favorite, however, the peach was "peach" and in great way! The Brogue Imperial Stout was smooth. The Coffee Porter was filled with coffee flavor. The Peanut Butter Porter was delicious, and when we alternated it with the Chocolate Stout, it was like drinking a Reece's PB cup. MMMMMM! We will be back! read more

Speaking of favorites; I was thoroughly shocked by the "Coffee Rigger" beer! Very smooth and flavorful. The guys are doing what they love and that's brew beer.
