Four years ago I used Workman Communications to help set up my new television. Rick and one of his team came out and did an exceptional job. I recently sold my house and the moving company that was going to move me indicated that I would have to make sure to disconnect all electronics prior to them coming out; they did not want to be liable. Unfortunately my screen was attached to the wall and there was no way I could even begin to do it myself, it's a big screen! I asked Workman Communications if there was anyway they could come out, take my big screen off the wall, transport the the new home and me set it up in my new home. Rick called me personally to let me know that he would be going out of town, but guaranteed he would make time available for me when he returned and do the job himself. Same exceptional services as the time before. Called about appointment, emailed the day before and let me know the day of that Rick was on his way. Rick took the set off the wall, disconnected all the electronics and transported to my new home. At the new house, he set it all up and made sure that it worked properly before he left. Workman Communications is an exceptional company to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Hired Rick Workman to install our new flat screen and surround sound system. 1. Did like that he wore covers over his shoes. 2. Felt I was given a fair deal on the installation, but was in the more pricier side of things. 3. Cleaned up after himself. 4. Kicking myself for not taking the time to just do the work myself. Also, my wife didn't really care for Mr. workman as she felt he treated her as if she were dumb. He did notably and oddly did used a more condescending tone as if she had no idea what he was talking about. Which may have been the case, but not acceptable. We will be looking for someone else to install our outdoor speaker system this summer. read more

I found Workman Communications on YELP when I needed to have a couple TV's installed. I saw all of the good reviews...and decided to give them a call for advice and pricing. The first thing you will notice is that you are dealing with guys that really know what they are talking about. These guys have seen and done it all! You will not be dealing with some new kid that is learning on the job. You can buy the equipment from them...or buy your own. It's up to you. They were glad to give product and specification recommendations. They were booking about 2 weeks out...which is a good sign! I am always nervous when they say their schedule is wide open! They showed up exactly on time. If fact...they called when they were 15 minutes away just as promised. They were extremely polite and professional. As you can imagine...anybody can hang a TV. This is where they separated themselves from their competition. The guys at Workman Communications - Took down my old TV - Hung the two new TV's (one inside the house and one on my patio) - Installed a new Blue Ray - Had a TV Mount on their truck that was substantially better than the one I had purchased - Ran all wiring behind the wall - Programmed my Universal Remote Control to work seamlessly - Helped program other apps like Amazon Prime, Netflix, You Tube, Pandora, etc. - Set all of the TV settings to get the maximum performance out of the TV - Help me adjust setting on my Onkyo Receiver to maximize the sound performance *** This is the important part. They said they they will do everything they promised...period. They don't care if they "run into problems" or if it "takes longer than anticipated". Even though my job took longer than it should have...they charged exactly what they quoted me. They even made a special trip back out to my house to add a setting to my remote that they had overlooked. Anyhow...if you want it done right...call these guys. Wow, that's the best money I've spent in a long time. I had them move 2 TV's and install 3 new ones including sound bar and wireless headphones. VERY REASONABLE and knew what they were doing. Jon and his team were fast, thorough, courteous and VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. I even had a new sound bar from Denon HEOS that they had never dealt with and called for usage to be through a smart phone app. Jon figured out how to sync the Xfinity control to my new sound bar so I didn't have to use a smart phone app separately. I scheduled an appointment with Workman Communications yesterday who had an appointment open for today. I wanted to get my TV mounted over my fireplace in my new home. Rick came out to install two outdoor speakers and basically rewire my entertainment center to the houses built in speakers. Rick was first and foremost super outgoing and super punctual. My previous phone calls to him were either answered right away, or he called back in a timely fashion. Rick set up my whole system quickly,and was extremely professional. When explaining the system to me, he didn't use a lot of trade speak or crazy jargon. So, Rick Workman came out to my office building to run new data lines for our phone and Internet. There were years of old lines, crossed lines, and antiquated infrastructure to deal with. He and his assistant surveyed the situation and got to work cleaning it up. Rick ran new lines, cleaned out the old, and was careful to make sure everything was installed to a high standard. We found Workman on this site and they live up to their reviews. One of us is blind and has trouble with modern touch-screen remotes, but the universal remote recommended and programmed by Workman has buttons and would be comfortable for anyone. My TV is attractively mounted on the wall, we can do TV streaming, the audio components sound fine. I'm glad I listened to Rick's suggestions about what I should keep, what I needed new, and how I would enjoy having the TV where it is. He follows up on his work. read more
