I saw the good reviews on yelp and decided to give Rick a shot. He did a great job and was extremely knowledgable. He mounted a tv above my fireplace and also re-routed some other cables for me. The "workmanship" was very good, and he provided a lot of tips on speakers, entertainment centers and more. I almost had Best Buy do the job but am glad I went with this local business. I am pleased with the Home Theater system, 8 cameras and all the cabling the Workman Comm team (John, Jesse, and of course Rick) installed and configured. Before arriving, the team would give me a courtesy call on their ETA; they wore shoe booties while working inside, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Oh, I can't forget about Ashley. She was great too! She would get back to me in a timely manner for the revised quotes, invoices, appointments/schedule, and answers to my questions. Overall, I am a satisfied customer, would use them again, and would recommend them to others. I would give them 5 stars but they were not the low price leader; their prices were not the highest either but in the middle. I had Rick install outdoor speakers for me and was impressed with the process from beginning to end. He was always prompt in communicating with me. He took the time to understand my project via phone and in person spending almost an hour with me at my home to walk though what I wanted and different ways to set up the system. He provided a very fair price and stuck with his estimate and worked hard to find hard to find materials at a good price. When it came to the install he came on time and was very thorough and professional in the install making sure that I understood every aspect of the install and how to run the system. Wow! We should have done this a long time ago! Supporting a local business rather than a big box store is the way to go when you find a company like Workman Communications. Quickly returned my initial call, and managed to fit me in within a day! Had our TV mounted over the fireplace in no time. Professional and personable and highly competent, planning ahead for our future needs too. This was a smaller job than they normally get - have been trusted with some high end and complicated installs. But I felt just as important. I wanted to surprise my husband, a disabled Vet, coming home tomorrow after an organ transplant. He has wanted to do this for a long time, so he will be thrilled. It looks so professional, and changed the whole room! Plus now we have so much more space - I'll have to go buy a nice comfy chair to fill the space that is left. We just had an entertainment system installed at our one story house and Workman Communications did an outstanding job! Professional, courteous, extremely skilled with a variety of electronic components and cables, and very customer service oriented. I first got a quote from a prominent business, but thought they were too expensive and didn't offer me any good solutions to hiding my speaker wires and cables. We weren't even told about the possibility of the components overheating. But when Workman Communications arrived to assess the install and give us a quote, he told us about the problem of the components overheating if we placed them in the enclosed cabinets. We found a better location and Mr. Workman was experienced enough to find a more creative solution to our speakers and wiring with a much more reasonable quote. After the installation process, we were still in need of some orientation of the system we purchased and he came back the next day and spent the time we needed to feel comfortable with using everything. He also said anytime we needed updates or have trouble, he would be glad to help us. If your looking for a company who puts the customer first and helps them to be completely satisfied, Workman Communications is the company for you. All the reviews on Yelp are accurate. From Ashley in the office to John and Jesse, these guys are awesome. They called when they were 15 minutes out, they showed up on time, and did everything (and more) that was expected. If there were 6 stars, I'd give them 6; if there were 10 stars I'd give them 11. They installed 2 TVs and did a great job. And they were competitively priced. I first met and used Rick's (the owner) services when he was still a one man show and definitely before the invention of Yelp. That was at least ten years ago. So, I was a little apprehensive when Ashley mentioned that Rick would not be doing our installation. Although it was a going to be a relatively easy job, I was unsure how well the new installers would do the job compared to what I've come to expect from Rick. Well I'm happy to report that I couldn't be more pleased with the work John and Jesse completed. The work was neatly done, the work area was clean and they left our bedroom tidy when they finished the job. They also wore booties over their shoes while in the house. Too few businesses do this but it's little touches like this that show how much they care about their customers. As an added bonus, Rick reached out to us later in the evening to inquire about the job his guys performed. Again, a practice more business owners should follow. It's great to hear that Rick has grown his business yet has managed to maintain the high level of service we've always received from Workman Communication. read more

Talk about customer service! I received a call from the technician, Kevin, and Rick, the owner, in the evening after the installation. Kevin called to respond to a message that I had left earlier in the day. I thought I wouldn't hear from anyone until the next day since it was after hours. Then Rick called a few minutes later to follow up. For the installation, the technicians had to do more work than was originally anticipated. I got a call from Ashley to explain the issue and because there was some miscommunication initially when I first made the appointment, Ashley gave me a discount. I had to wait a little bit to get an appointment, but it was well worth it to wait. Kevin and the other technician (sorry, but I can't remember his name) were both great. They even vacuumed the carpet and then moved a piece of furniture for me. And my TV looks great over the fireplace. Thank you, everyone. I was smart to wait for an appointment. read more
