They had good appointment availability and were friendly! My car issue ended up being something easy/nothing major actually needed, and they didn't charge me + were done in like five minutes (I am not knowledgeable about cars so honestly they could have easily ripped me off had they wanted to). Also this was after my car had been waiting for someone to be able to take a look at it at a Firestone for two whole days before I gave up and brought it here.. All this to say I would recommend them and will be back for my future routine car care. read more

It's easy to schedule an appointment through their website - I was contacted by their manager, Tom, within an hour and put on the schedule right away. I came in knowing what I needed and wanted (basic oil change and transmission fluid flush), so that made things easy. Being a younger person, I often feel talked down to at auto care places, but here, the service was very friendly and respectful. Prices were reasonable for the quality of service. I didn't feel pressure to "upgrade" or accept any additional services like some places heavily push. Other reviews seem to be outdated - give this place a shot. This place is AWFUL!!! Broke a piece off on my car and REFUSED to fix it. Instead, they are okay with sending me out onto the road with a hazardous vehicle. NEVER again will this happen. read more

They have a tv, wifi, and a work area so you can work while you wait for service. You can also schedule an appointment and drop off your ride if you don't feel like waiting. Kind of expensive sometimes, but you get what you pay for. I've taken my vehicles to other places and had issues, but at least at Youngstedt's they fix the issue correctly. read more

I dropped by the shop this morning without an appointment to get the oil changed in my car. I also needed a license plate installed, because the bolts had rusted and I couldn't change the plate on my own. When I was told that I would need to make an appointment and that the afternoon was better for the shop, I thought, ok, maybe an appointment was the usual way of doing business. I returned. I received my quote for the work on my license plate. $50, because the bolts would need to be drilled. I was thinking -- it's illegal to drive without both plates and where else would I go to get this done? Anywhere. Next time, anywhere but here. read more

I would not recommend this place to anybody, especially if you are young/a woman who probably doesn't know much about cars. They tried to charge me $960 to change my fuel pump, which I found out costs $100-250 to do on your own. I called them back thirteen minutes after telling them to go ahead and work on it to say I'd changed my mind and would prefer to have a relative help me do it, and was told that they were already halfway done and that they had done $400 of work. In thirteen minutes? I don't think so. I don't mean to sound like a crazy internet review zealot, but these guys are out to scalp you for as much as they can. Find somewhere with fair pricing and work ethic, or get your hands dirty and do it on your own. read more

It's great to see an auto repair shop that takes customer service and honesty seriously. I went there and had my car alignment checked as well as three new tires put on. They were courteous and made sure my alignment was ok. They could have easily charged me for "fixing" the alignment without doing anything, but they were honest about it. A day after my tires were done, I went out and found that one of them was completely flat. I called the shop and they immediately sent someone to refill it. After that I drove to the shop (the guy followed me in case something went wrong) and they discovered that the little air pressure sensor was not insulated and was leaking air out. They fixed it, checked the other tires' sensors and did not charge me. In fact they gave me a free oil change and a free car wash for the inconvenience. Exactly what they should have done! I will go there again, they were nice and trustworthy. read more

I moved into the area recently from South Dakota and needed to find an auto mechanic. I checked with my new neighbors and youngstedt's was highly recommended. Since then I have used them on two different occasions, once for an overheating issue and the other for a regular maintenance service. Both times I checked with my old mechanic back home and he confirmed that the issues and price seemed to be reasonable. All of the employees are very nice and make you feel welcome. It's nice that they have gas and a car wash also. Youngstedt's has earned my trust and would recommend them to anyone. Good people read more

This is beyond a doubt the absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. The manager of the repair shop actually crashed my car. Trying to be nice, I allowed Youngstedt's Collision to repair the body damage. They tried to return it to me with still over 2,600 dollars worth of damage on it. I had to bring it back, get the owner involved (who was completely disinterested in helping me) and go through insurance. I had originally paid 640 dollars for the "tune up" in which I asked for refund - I thought it was the least they could do since I was doing all the accommodating to get my car fixed. They denied my request. I would think that a smart business decision would be to make sure I was at least happy with how they reacted to the accident. I would never go to this company's many facilities. Their slogan and promise about making sure the customer is happy is anything but accurate. It took over a month to get my car back to where it was before I brought it in for minor mechanical repairs. I am out 640 dollars and countless hours of my time and my car which had never had a proble has now been in the body shop twice. Once because they were negligent and again because they were deceitful. read more

I am writing this review in response to the review written by Keith R. I was going to write a review myself and noticed this one. I have been a loyal customer and neighbor to this shop for over twenty years. I asked an employee about this and he said the vehicle was damaged but not by crashing it like Keith stated. It was scrapped against a poll while backing out of the garage. Youngstedts paid the entire bill, even the previous damage done by his nanny that Keith lied about in the beginning. Keith is pissed because they would not refund the mechanical bill in full. They offered him half of the money back but he wouldn't settle for that. I know Keith, he's my neighbor and this is the way he rolls. Constantly trying to cheat people and through what little weight he has around. Keith is a tiny Napoleon guy with small mans syndrome! Don't listen to him. These guys do good honest work, I have been very pleased withthem.c read more
