do not trust World Car Nissan in Live Oak. My experience here involved blatant deceptive practices, a massive breach of consumer privacy, and extreme negligence by top management, specifically the General Sales Manager and the general manager who refers to himself as the executive manager. First, they sold me a vehicle without properly inspecting it. I actually have audio recordings of GM admitting that they skipped required internal processes and cleared engine codes prior to selling me the car to hide the fact the vehicle had no oil in the engine. And they delivered a car that was dirty and had 30 miles left in the tank. Even worse is how recklessly they handle your highly sensitive personal data. When I took my car, I found another customer's fully signed auto loan and lease agreement left inside my vehicle. This document contained all of that person's private personal information. I immediately notified management on a Saturday about this massive security breach. Instead of securing the customer's data, they completely ignored my warning and didn't retrieve the documents until two days later. The GSM admitted on recording that they allowed the vehicle to leave the lot without verifying valid insurance, even though they had us sign official paperwork falsely stating that valid insurance was provided. They are systematically cutting corners on required state documents. When notifying the GSM of these infractions he proceeded to cut me off a lot and call me "buddy" along with his service tech calling me by a different last name. When the GSM was made aware of the vehicle not having oil which was confirmed by three different sources including myself and a autozone tech all of which were recorded by several cameras and at different angles the GSM provided a tow truck only for the camera that was recording to be disconnected from my dash. When confronted the GSM said he had nothing to do with that and the GM later when asked said " You just don't do that". On top of everything that was said, When asked directly " Not to mention, the service engine light wasn't on, which means they erased codes" the GM responded by saying "Right absolutely". The only enjoyable part of this whole situation was our interaction with the finance manager who was amazing the whole time and looked out for us which can't be said about the rest of his team. I drove an hour to this location because I booked an appointment to test drive a specific vehicle I was about to purchase. I was told the car would be ready out front to test drive. I make the HOUR trip to wait 20 mins to finally get someone to notice I've been standing there unhelped. They tell me they don't know where the car I'm booked to test drive is. They send out manager Tyler, who tells me I should drive a completely different year, make, and model- to compare to the car I'm looking for that isn't here. I explain I am here to test drive that specific car because that is the one I would be purchasing. I'm sent over to another manager who is helping me now because he said he "can't find Tyler" (who I just saw walking around eating and chilling one moment prior) Now the second manager I'm talking to is recommending I drive the newest year of the car I was looking to purchase. Again, I explain I'm only looking to test drive what I would be willing to buy, don't waste my time and yours. Finally he admits it isn't here because it's on the side of town I came from. 2 hours wasted on miscommunication because you never had the car you told me you had, pushy managers, and unprofessional sales people. I purchased a vehicle from World Car Nissan in San Antonio as a gift for my fiancée, and the entire experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. What should have been an exciting and positive moment quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal. The dealership failed to communicate properly with our bank and repeatedly refused to provide the documents the bank requested, creating unnecessary delays. After completing all the paperwork, it took the staff over an hour to locate the keys to the vehicle. To make matters worse, the car was not clean or sanitary when we finally received it. The lack of professionalism was unacceptable, and the manager, Stephen Shafer, was particularly unhelpful and dismissive when we tried to address these concerns. For a major dealership, the service and organization were far below expectations. The absolute worst customer service had an appointment to bring the car in for service that they had not fixed because they always said they did not have a lease card to loan us at top-of-the-line car that we own four hours later. They finally gave us a card to drive home. They had sent someone to get gasoline and it said we could go 7 miles on that gasoline had to go back in and start over on getting gasoline. I was unsatisfied and disappointed with the way things were handled on Saturday 08/23/25. I bought a 2025 Kick and within two months, the dashboard had bubbled up. My car was purchased in Dec 2024, it now has less than 7000 miles, in immaculate condition. I went to trade it in for a Rogue due to needing more space and the sales person was great however, the general manager that was helping me make the deal he only offered me 18000 and was asking me to put money down as well. Now, needless to say I traded in my 2003 Toyota Camry with 37000 miles and got 27000. They never got my Kick appraised. He just said that that's all he can do. They never took it to the back so they can have it inspected or appraised. Really ???? After being there for 4 or 5 hours, I went home disappointed, frustrated and yes, I felt like I was being wronged. At the end of the day the Rogue that 30,000 ended up being 42,000. That is wrong in so many ways. I did not get it of course. I will never refer anyone to a Nissan dealership. The first time was great, this last time I went was horrible. I'm going to keep my car and probably take it to Toyota and hope they can help me get into a mid-size suv. People should not take advantage of people that way. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with getting my car repaired at World Car Nissan. We took our car in to have the transmission oil changed on a Thursday. Somebody tried to call me and left me a message on Friday but I could never get in touch with anybody. My husband and I both tried multiple phone numbers multiple times on Friday. on Saturday morning I went in there in person to see if I could talk to somebody. It looked like they only had one advisor working. Once we got everything straightened out, they proceeded to do a couple of other things to our car. They were waiting for parts and he thought they would be in and installed on Monday. I never heard from anybody on Monday or Tuesday. I finally got a call from somebody on Wednesday asking how things were going. By then I was pretty upset because I hadn't heard a word from anybody. If my Nissan ever needs any more work done to it, I will NEVER go back to this shop. The fact that they go days without communicating with their customers is unacceptable. And the fact that both my husband and I left voicemails with multiple people and still no communication is bad business. read more

I purchased a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from this dealership in Oct 2024, the experience was pleasant but was promised things that were not given to me afterward. There was no key to remove the wheel locks, no spare key fob which I was promised. I had to pay $200 dollars to a jeep dealer here to remove the locks and install new locks. I was promised by THREE sales people at the dealer that the spare key fob would be send to me. I finally had to pay $535 dollars for a new key to be programed into this vehicle. I have send a email to the salesman to please be a gentleman and reimburse me the money I have spent and to contact the supervisor to give me that money mentioned above. Worst service center ever!! Drop my vehicle off at World Car Nissan on Wednesday evening to fix 3 recalls. Get back in town Tuesday(yes 5 business days later), go check on the vehicle and NOTHING has been done. They had no idea why it hadn't been touched. Leave it 1 more day (6 business days they've had my vehicle now) and still nothing has been done. Their excuse these last 2 days was the network is down and they can't reprogram it. So I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue and the license plate were delivered to this dealer..upon them getting the plates, I was called to come in and have them put on the car..I went in and they only installed the rear plate ..I asked and was told the car didn't have a front license plate bracket and they couldn't install the front plate..I voiced my displeasure and was told it's the sales,and responsibility not ours, you're out of luck..then the guy said just leave it on your dash and it will be OK, you won't get a ticket...these two employees were useless and gave this dealer a very poor review..no help at all...so last night my daughter was pulled over for not having the front license plate and was given a warning..thankfully not a ticket..how can this dealer , WORLD CAR NISSAN sell a car that violates Texas traffic's code laws ? Dealership LOST $50,000 Cashier check. Blamed me for its loss, demanded I return the vehicle I purchased PROMISING TO HOLD THE VEHICLE until I was able to replace the cashier check (90 days due to bank rules), returned my trade in vehicle damaged by their people, relisted the new vehicle for sale a week later. General manager claims I canceled the deal. I did not and was in near daily communication with finance manager. Case was transferred to a "Sales Manager" who took listing down for 2 weeks while I was still trying to replace the lost cashier's check. No communication beyond initial call with "Sales manager" Vehicle relisted again despite promises to hold vehicle. Manager told me I was out of luck AFTER RELISTING WITH NO WARNING. Not their problem. I STILL dont have my money, they have damaged my existing truck, and cost me almost a 1000 dollars in damages, lost parts\keys on the existing vehicle and fees to correct their issue. My Murano was towed to this location on a Friday. Saturday morning I was assured by The service rep, it was there and he had the key. It would be looked at sometime on Monday. On Monday evening, he informed me it's in diagnostics. On Tuesday, the same update was offered after I finally got in touch with him. Wednesday he was off. I requested an update from the service manager at that time. Thirty minutes later, he confirmed what I already knew. The alternator was bad. I then received a quote for $1786 based on $565 in parts (reasonable) and $1221 for 6.6 hours of labor (completely unreasonable price gouge). Reluctantly, I authorized the work. Then, nothing on Thursday until I once again called the service rep who told me at that point the car would be ready Friday evening. After I called back again, I was guaranteed by the service rep it'd be ready by Saturday at 1 pm. At 2:35, he texted me saying they found a coolant leak during the post repair test drive. I would need it diagnosed before an estimate could be given. Enraged, I told him I'd pick it up in an hour. I drove it home and have driven it several times over the past two days. In 100 degree temperature. At this time, there is NO SIGN of any coolant leak. I intend to have it evaluated later this week at a different shop. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT consider this dealership for any service repairs. The outrageous pricing is one thing, the terrible service advising/customer relations is another. read more

Came in from out of town to purchase a used Armada. Sales seemed to be responsive initially, but the vehicle did not match the description of cleanliness as discussed. Prior to my arrival it was unclear if the vehicle was available for my purchase or not. I thought we had a deal, then we didn't, then we did. It was very confusing. The sales person was very nice and even picked me up at the airport and took me to the dealership. We test drove the Armada, and it was satisfactory as it is a certified vehicle still under manufacturers original warranty. I pointed out to the sales person I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the vehicle at the test drive so they re cleaned it. Unfortunately an hour later it was not much better. Also, found random trim piece in the door well, which does not instill confidence on the 187 point certified inspection process. read more

Bought from their "huge selection of used cars". I used their warranty. $50 deductible, not bad. Dropped my car off December 30th, 2022. It has almost been a month now with ONE TEXT update stating it had to be moved to another dealership because nissan techs can't work on Dodge. Ok, no worries I'll get all their info too, right? Wrong. Sitting here wondering when and where my car is at! Any attempt to contact them has been met with 13 minutes of holding only to have the call hung up OR actually speaking to someone then getting a "Hmm, I'm not sure let me call you back." They were friendly when I came in, but even the person collecting my info was going in and out of the building because "they couldn't find my car in their system" when I provided the VIN. I took my car to get serviced and they told me I could get a shuttle back home. They asked me to go wait for the shuttle. TWO HOURS go by before anyone even asks us how we are. Then they proceed to tell us that they already sent their shuttle drivers home for the night. What a joke. All around terrible customer service. If you want to be treated like you don't matter this is the perfect place for you. I do t know why I keep putting myself through the pain that is the Service center. every visit is worse than the last. I have been trying to get our vehicle serviced for the recall, yellow caution light with the auto hold and electronics going hay. I call and they never respond to you. after 3 months they finally made a appointment for the car. got there before appointment time and of course you go unnoticed by the service personnel. they are all very young and have not even one instance of customer service. my car waited on the starting line for 1.5 hours then it disappeared. 4 hours later I started to feel sick because of my distability and asked if they could f out what is happening. the young guy went outside and came back in 15 minutes and did not even advise me. I told him per policy I was supposed to get a loaner vehicle. he had no clue. then I got pissed and asked to speak with the General Manager Leon who seemed to have pulled a disappearing act. this was my final attempt at getting service. they said my car was in the work area with the technician. lie I saw my vehicle sitting outside in the hot 110 degree weather. I just said bring me my vehicle now this is ridiculous. the only person who even attempted to help was Clay the New Service manager of 2 weeks. this guy had been dropped in the hornets nest. I left without any further interaction. I am not a complainer I try to be level headed because of my profession I am a nurse and all I want to do is help people but I be damn if I am going to keep being treated like this. they don't tell you that their service plan is only good at this location and none of the other world car location's which has to be a joke. I will just take my car elsewhere and pay for the service. if all locations are like this I will NEVER buy another car from World Car Nissan. they throw the bait and reel you in and you end up on the campfire skillet. read more

They had my car for two weeks giving me the run around. Told me that there was a claim submitted through my warranty but two weeks later I decided to call the warranty myself only to find out they had never been contacted and there was no claim submitted. Also turned out that the lady working with me from the service dept had quit. It's no wonder they have their service employees quitting and having a quick turn around. This dealership has a good selection of cars at good prices but you should be warned about things that I experienced. 1. I found a vehicle I liked online and called a day in advance to setup an appointment. Two things I didn't like: (1) I texted the sales guy the day of the appointment to let him know I was coming a bit early but had stopped for lunch in San Marcos (coming from Austin area). He messaged back right away and said he'd take his lunch at that same time so he'd be back by the time we made it to San Antonio. We actually beat him back and had to wait 10 mins. Not terrible, but a little annoying considered it took us a good hour or more to get there after contacting him. (2) When we got there to see and test drive the vehicle, it was completely covered in dirt/dust. If you're trying to sell a car, wouldn't you at least rinse it off so it shows better?!? 2. During the test drive, I noticed the steering wheel shaking a bit at higher speeds. I called it out to our sales guy that they'd need to balance and rotate the tires if I decided to purchase. Didn't seem major, so a minor adjustment would have corrected the issue. I did end up purchasing the vehicle and while driving it home noticed the steering wheel was still shaking. In hindsight, I should have got it down in writing to be addressed before driving it off the lot. 3. The dealership took the time to rinse the car off before I made the decision to purchase it. Again, annoying this wasn't done before I test drove, it took all of 15-20 mins. Once I saw it rinsed, I decided to move forward with buying it. I was told it was going into full detailing as we began all the paperwork process for purchase. After 2 hours of discussing price/financing, signing all the paperwork, etc. I ended up waiting an additional 45 mins - 1hr for detailing to be finished. Honestly, when I walked out to the car it looked no different than the first basic rinse they did after I test drove it. What took 2+hrs to detail?!? 4. The next morning after purchasing the vehicle I decided to take the car to Discount Tire myself to get the tires rotated and balanced and take it to get professionally detailed. Discount Tire told me immediately that all 4 tires were completely shot (1 had 5/32" of tread left, the other 3 tires had 3/32" and 2/32" tread left). $730 later, I had all 4 tires replaced. And then spent another $100 to have the vehicle detailed correctly. I got a car we love, but didn't have a good enough experience with this dealership to ever want to go back unfortunately. read more

Buyer beware, believe that. Don't believe in their multi point inspection. Used car buying 101, always take a used car to a trusted mechanic, no matter what they say. They said they did to my truck, the engine area was so dirty. There is no way anyone looked at anything. After a week, I looked at the air filter and it was so dirty. They said they did an inspection and oil change, find that real hard to believe. Gave me only one key, and pretty much told me that I was SOL on the other one. And if you know about getting another key done, it could run well over $100. Do yourself a favor, learn from my mistake. We agreed on a price with the assistant sales manager Mike Cummings. At 10 am on May 3, they had sold the car from under us without informing us. We had an inspector coming to do a pre-sale inspection at 10:30 am and the assistant manager could not find the car. The sales agents wasted our time and another professional's time. This is about what I call deceptive business practice. Monica Marx was our salesperson. I can't say enough about how good she was to us. We had some very specific features that we wanted in our new car and she worked to find us a new vehicle that met our needs and wants. The low rating is due to the Finance aspect. We secured our own funding (pre-approval) from Navy Federal Credit Union. They issued us a draft; the Sales Manager saw the draft that was clearly marked "Navy Federal Credit Union; only after we were starting to sign our paperwork did he casually mention that they didn't take bank drafts and we'd have to go back to NFCU to have them issue a Cashier's Check. Derrick in Finance, after we had signed more paperwork and as we were finishing, he casually told us (regarding NFCU), "Don't let them run a second credit check on you". He then told us that they've "tried" to do it to other people. We thought that sounded odd but we went ahead and went back to NFCU. When we went to NFCU they told us that since our loan was approved for a certain amount and the purchase order we were given by Derrick was for an amount that was almost half of what the draft we took to the dealer. Bottom line: We HAD to have a SECOND CREDIT CHECK at NFCU. They told us it's a new loan. Now we have 2 hits on our credit report.. DERRICK KNEW WE WOULD HAVE TO GET A SECOND CREDIT CHECK! I FEEL HE DECEIVED US! Had we known that we would have picked another dealer. IF YOU GET A PRE-APPROVED AUTO LOAN FROM NFCU, DO NOT BUY FROM WORLD CAR. After causing us a second credit check, MY ADVICE IS DON'T BUY FROM THEM AT ALL! Derrick in Finance told us when we brought a cashiers check back that he talked to someone at NFCU that he had "fixed" it for another customer. NFCU. NFCU said they run a second credit case in these instances, PERIOD! Derrick is untruthful or he doesn't know what he's doing. Terrible customer service! Can't get a straight answer from the people that work there about the status of my car. I dropped it off to get a Multi-point Inspection. I was given the deadline of same day. So I agreed. Feels like once I agreed to the quote, my car repairs were no longer a priority. I called 3 times today, and was given a response of "from what I know, the car might be ready" "I have to keep the car until tomorrow because I'm still going through the paperwork". All non-committed responses. When I asked to speak with a manager, the manager was "in a meeting". The guy on the phone said he was only telling me what he was being told. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE. We dropped off our Nissan Sentra for a really back ticking sound. Our service technician told us that he would update it and the car would be done within three days. We got NO updates during those three days and when we called the dealership no one answered. Our car has been here for a week now. Our technician is no where to be found so we got a new one to help us. The mechanic finally has taken a look at it and states that there is nothing wrong with the car. DEFINITELY getting a second opinion. read more

I took my car to get looked at and even when i dropped it off they said i was in the wrong area, did a circle, and then i was in the right spot (but it was the same spot) then they told me my car would be ready by noon, then noon came, and i wasn't notified about my car I HAD TO CALL for them to tell me the person that was working on my car wasn't available but they would relay the message, FOUR HOURS later I CALL AGAIN and they tell me the same thing BUT AJ invoice was emailed to me( i didn't receive an email, junk mail or priority) My car has been there almost two days with nobody telling me anything about what's going on with it. My husband bought my 2023 Nissan Rogue from yall in January. Shortly after purchase, a malfunction error kept popping up regarding the blind spot. The first appointment available wasnt until March 28th. During the time, a rubber strip fell off from over the tire and was hitting the tire. I turned my car in on March 28th at noon. Shavonna asked me if it was okay to keep my car until the 29th around noon. The 29th comes and after many many attempts to get through to them I speak with someone who says that they had to order the part and it would be in on Friday but would depend on what time the part came in if it would be done friday or not. Again, nobody would answer the phones so my husband went by there and was told that the part came in but the car wouldnt be done till Saturday till 4, likely earlier and they would call. Today, nobody called. My husband called multiple times, left messages and even spoke with someone in the sales center who said he would notify a manager. Nobody called back. He called again and got someone who said they put the part in but its still coming up with the error so we need to keep the car for the weekend. My husband told her no as they had my car almost a week and i need my car this coming week for meetings. We go there and they then tell my husband that they didnt actually put the part in they ordered the wrong part then had to get the correct one and didnt get a chance to put that in. On top of that, they didnt fix the rubber part that had come off the car and its just sitting on my passenger floor where they put it. I am extremely upset with this crappy service and had we known it would be like this our very first time needing assistance we would have bought our car from a different Nissan dealership.
