Had the absolute worse food I ever ordered. Ordered a turkey burger because I was really craving one. I told them not to grill it dry and to put very light mayo. The burgers was sliced in 3 pieces (I don't know why). It was so dry, that it was like a hockey puck. It was also drowing in mayo. I couldn't even eat it, I was so not edible. I thought I would lose a tooth if I ate it. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I would never order fromnl them again. This is my second bad experience. Fool me twice, it won't be a third time. read more

Beauty of NY can be its delis. The place is unassuming on the outside but the list of options is massive. Also, if you're looking for veggie options, there are tons! Prices are also super reasonable for the quality that you get vs other spots nearby. Service was super quick, I had my sandwich in 5 mins and was able to enjoy it in the sun. My first food in NYC bacon egg and cheese on a roll extra cheese. They made it bomb!! So if your not from NY you order the food at the food counter wait for it then you pay at the cash register. Definitely going back and trying other sandwiches before I leave NYC. read more

My bank had to cancel my card due to fraudulent activity from the business. They tried taking another $98 after charging $2.34 for 3 limes. Loyalty is my middle name. I go to the same nail tech, same eyebrow lady, same hair salon etc. (you get the point), and before I discovered the World Famous Deli, I was loyal to a different deli in the area (sorry y'all). So after bypassing World Famous often to go to my previous one, I gave it a try. One thing to note: old deli if you're reading this, blame Mother Nature because it was raining and I didn't want to walk the extra block to you (just came from the salon). Anyway, World Famous has a large selection of items you will not find at any other Deli in the area. They even have more variety and choices in brands (like Amy's, and Synergy) than the Stop & Shop that isn't too far away. Crazy right? And if that wasn't enough (which it was for me), they are super clean and a one stop shop (you can get food, beer, household items, fresh sandwiches, and salads etc.) Only negative so far is the chopped cheese is definitely not $5 - but maybe with my new found loyalty to you, that could be up for negotiation? read more

Breakfast sandwiches at half the price than most places in the area, and just as good. Staff are all very friendly. This place has a full deli and prepared section, salads, fresh fruit and vegetable, tons of other food (a few aisles of it) and all the munchies and convenience store stuff you would need. They make a really nice NY DELI sandwich. Love ham and cheese with mayo lettuce and tomato on a roll. Also the fruit salad are really good and fresh. The prices are also reasonable. Only issue is that it is so cluttered inside. I feel like I might trip on something all the time. read more

Starving one night I looked up Yelp delivery and was glad to know they delivered! It's a deli so they have an extensive sandwich menu that includes hot and cold options. Hubby went with the chicken Philly sandwich with onions, peppers & mushrooms. I went with a spicy chicken quesadilla. Delivery was great and our food was STILL steaming hot! This is a plus!!! The chicken cheesesteak came on a hero with melted cheese, hubby was happy. My chicken quesadilla was delicious and it had the right amount of heat. The chicken was seasoned and it was not dry. Happy to know this place delivers to me and they are opened late. Next time during the day will take a trip here and grab some food to go. Support the local businesses!! read more

Walked in here after seeing that Bergen Dean had closed down and was not disappointed. Incredibly friendly staff and a large menu of wraps, sandwiches and paninis. I got the Super Italian, which was quite large and very tasty. My wife got a turkey and Avocado sandwich, which was also really good. With two diet cokes and a bag of chips it came to $22.49. Good luck finding a better price in the area. If you're looking for a solid sandwich at a good price from friendly people, this is the place for you. read more

This is the perfect quick stop in the morning for me. I only have to walk five feet to access my favorite items: fresh fruit, Greek yogurt (including the whole milk kind, which many don't sell on single serving sizes) and lots of dark chocolate options. Was short-changed here 5 or 7 times a few (recent) years ago. And that was only once I got wise to them. They probably ripped me off for minimum $40 and possibly more. There were times I was short-changed $3 or $4, I then went back and called them out on it... and they then promptly short-changed me AGAIN within the next week AFTER THAT. Ridiculous, if you are going to rip people off, maybe space it out a little. Please, let's be honest, this place must be a front because how can a place like this with cheap canned beans and candy and cigarettes survive astronomical rents. I am 100% sure they shortchanged me multiple times. What that says about them being a front, I am not sure but they are definitely a shady operation. Best deli in the area. Food always tastes fresh, it's very clean, and the people that work there are super friendly. Their iced coffee is a million times better than Starbucks or any expensive coffee you would get at one of these cafes. They know your order and they make it exactly the way you like it. I'm particularly very picky about how I like my coffee and today the guy that works there showed me exactly how much sugar he was putting and made it perfect ( which I really appreciate).
