The new Paramus World Market was such a good visit. It is much closer than the Woodland Park, NJ, store and carries the same inventory....except.....alcohol. It is located in the Bergen Town Center and has plenty of indoor and outdoor parking. You'll enjoy strolling up and down each aisle, and section, and finding everything from candles, sweets, coffee, books, and home furniture/decor. The staff is very helpful and the checkout is quick. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program and enjoy your purchase(s).

I'll stop into this Homesense store after I've shopped at the Trader Joe's next door. (If you're…read moregoing to brave the parking lot in this shopping plaza, you may as well hit up both stores). I found some cute home decor and seasonal items for the winter holidays and lunar new year. I also like the furniture pieces and lighting that are featured towards the front of the store. We've been browsing around to see what would look like a good purchase for our place. Homesense had nice pieces that you can touch/sit on. So even if we do not end up not buying from there, what they have on the floor was/is a good source of design inspiration.

Not quite nonsense -- and not exactly couture. Somewhere in between for me…read more Homesense is a riff on its "off price" cousins TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.

Dear Safavieh Customer Service,…read more I'm writing to share my very disappointing experience with the sales associate/designer named Debbie at your Livingston, NJ store. I visited the showroom in January 2025 and was introduced to Debbie (unfortunately, I do not know her last name). She explained that for her to provide in-home design services, I would need to commit to purchasing at least $10,000 in furniture or place a 10% deposit of $1,000. Per her request, I provided my credit card information. I did take her design suggestions and ended up purchasing over $20,000 worth of furniture. Debbie assured me that everything would be delivered within two months, and she also promised to be present at each delivery to oversee the process. Unfortunately, she did not follow through on her promises. For the first of several deliveries, she contacted me on the day of and said she wouldn't be coming due to traffic. While I understood the situation, it was disappointing. More frustratingly, the delivery of a sofa chair and king-size bed took nearly three months. During this time, I had no proper bed and was forced to sleep on a sofa bed. The sofa bed was a floor sample, so thankfully it arrived quickly, but I expected much better service and communication given the scale of my purchase. This experience has been stressful and frustrating, especially considering the cost and expectations set at the beginning. I hope you take this feedback seriously and look into improving the customer experience and follow-through at your Livingston location.

They rescheduled the delivery for April 3rd, and then canceled the day before as they were missing parts, I was told I would be notified within 3 days when they were able to reschedule. After hearing nothing, I called a week later and they said they would call to reschedule when they have to parts. It is now approaching the end of April and I still have not heard anything about them rescheduling the delivery. I have called to follow up multiple times. In addition to this, I also ordered a couch in March. About 2 weeks ago (early April), I realized it will be too large for my space. I called West Elm to cancel the order, as they did not allow me to cancel online. The woman I spoke to told me it would be no more than 3 days to hear whether or not my cancellation request was approved by the manager. Again, I heard nothing. When I called back today, they acted as if they had never heard that I wanted to cancel the order (now far less-likely to be canceled due to being further along in production). They again told me they would put my request through to the manager. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone that was able to get me no answers. I am extremely disappointed with their service. Their products are expensive, and the lack of communication and responsiveness after a sale is unacceptable.

They left the sofa in the loading area of our building, and we were forced to hire a third-party (at significant added cost) who was able to fit it into our elevator by simply removing the legs and cushions. The incompetence and lack of effort by the West Elm delivery team was beyond belief. To make matters worse, they delivered the wrong rug, installed bed frame legs on backwards, and have refused to fully reimburse me for added costs incurred. Shame on you West Elm!
