I believe it was Mimi at the counter. She was fun, funny, happy and enjoyable to talk to. The shop was very clean. There was no one else there at the time so we had the run of the place. Tried both the honey habanero and the buffalo wings. The Honey Habanero didn't have much taste or spice, but I did enjoy the buffalo wings. The wings are fairly small and the price is fairly high. I kept hearing the hype about World of Wings from multiple people in my neighborhood and decided to try it one afternoon. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. You order at the counter and then grab a table where they'll bring your order to you. There's lots of TVs and tables to sit at. The wings are huge here. I ordered the lunch special that includes three wings, fries, and a soda for $10. I went with OG Buffalo style and my son ordered the naked plain ones. The fries are the huge criss cut ones and had a really good flavor. I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese too. It's the good home cooked kind that you have at a family get together with an awesome cheese pull. I'll definitely be back to try more of their flavors as they all sound amazing. To the owners: it's a nice space, but the prices are on the higher side compared to other wing spots. For the price of one order of wings here, other places offer a combo with wings, fries, a drink, and two free sauces. We ordered two 8-piece wings, one order of fries, and a green leaf tea, totaling $50. The fries portion was around 5 ounces, while most places serve at least 7 ounces. The wings themselves are a good size, but they lack the right amount of sauce--only one sauce for eight wings, making each bite feel underwhelming. This is Vegas--a city of lights, glamour, shows, and pool parties. People come here looking for deals, combos, and fun vibes. Old lady read about this place and it was close to the house. I will say that they're on the pricy side. That being said, after tasting them, they can take all my lil coins! We decided to do the sampler which lets you do 3 wings, 3 sauces, for a total of 9. It's close to $20 for just wings, and I wasn't given ranch, any crudités or anything. Tho I ate the wings wo ranch and they were fire, I think a homemade ranch could've set them off even more. We tried the ghengis which was a little salty at first. It started to grow on me. Lemon pepper had me HOOKED! And the southern fried had me nostalgic from childhood. I did feel like they could've been packaged differently so the sauces didn't run into each other, at the end I was rubbing them in the leftover sauce but I also appreciate a stand-alone experience, especially if you're trying new flavors. The place itself is very clean and shiny lol. The lady on the phone was very nice, all in all a pleasant experience and I love supporting small, minority owned businesses. Finally tried this place for the first time, and was warmly welcomed with one of the owners. I really appreciate the fact that she was able to assist me in choosing with flavors to try out and telling me how they're prepared. While waiting, had a fun time talking to her the whole time while waiting for my order since it was just me in there. I ended up trying the southern fried chicken and I loved it! Tried it with the WOW sauce for a few bites, but I did end up preferring eating it without. It was good eating it with the fries though. After seeing their reviews and high rating, I looked forward to trying their wings, but was disappointed. We had the classic buffalo and kiss of lemon and pepper wings. The buffalo wasn't bad, but not great - I would give it a 3 out of 5. The lemon pepper was dry and, aside from a bit of tart from the lemon, not very flavorful. I also ordered the Caesar salad and threw most of it away. They mention the anchovy in their description, and I usually enjoy a Caesar dressing with anchovy, but this dressing was awful. The wings, while rather pricey, are indeed excellent and rather large. Never frozen, cut to size daily, the varying flavors are plentiful! My favorite was the southern fried style with its light batter! The Indian style wings were really well done with that familiar burst of flavors from that style of food! Wow! I was so happy with how good this place was! I ordered the chicken fingers, and my husband got the wings. The chicken fingers were okay, but the wings were absolute fire! I'm super picky when it comes to wings, so when I tried one of my husband's, I was blown away by how good it was. There are only two places in Vegas where I'll eat bone-in wings, and this is officially one of them! Oh, and the Wow Sauce? SO. GOOD. Highly recommend! I decided to try the 9-Piece Sampler because you can choose 3 different flavors. My Big 3 were "Yah Mon" Jerk - Walker's Wood, Bayou Classic, and Kiss of Lemon & Pepper. Also had the Himalayan Pink Salt & Apple Cider fries with a piece of Lemon Cake (not pictured, I ate it immediately ‍). Look here...the jerk will activate all taste buds (dead or alive) and the nostrils. Ha ha. The lemon pepper was different from most others I've tried as it's wet and not dry. I couldn't put it down once I started, very unique flavor combo. The Bayou Classic is a spicy dry rub that reminds me of home (New Orleans), probably where the name comes from. The fries also hit different, that salt and cider combination was great. Don't ask me about the lemon cake ‍, I ate it so fast and it was so good. Ha ha. Flavor was on point for everything. Remember, these are bone in wings, you gotta get dirty and messy with these, so bring your favorite bib. Probably not going back unless I see newer reviews with pictures proving otherwise but the flavors are good normal wing flavors, but the one picture I could find before that wasn't Resturant taken the wings seemed a little sad, and same with my order not one piece of them had a crunch or ounce of crisp to them. For being a "world of wings" the wings were pretty sad I'd say as a self proclaimed wing connoisseur considering they're my favorite food. The other thing 22.50 for 9 wings and some fries is pretty pricy and again for what I go 100% not worth it. Hubby and I do take-out from here often. Their wings are usually very large. We usually get some buffalo which is mild enough that Hubby will eat one or two. I get a bunch of Lemon for myself; they taste like Chicken Piccata. I can't tell you how much I love those. I also like to get the Orange Bliss wings. We always get a bunch of the BBQ. Today's dozen are big and covered in yummy sauce. This is a literal "ma and pa" business. Husband and wife team; a daughter who helps out occasionally. I hope they can stay in business. I ordered the scorpion and dayum it was hot, the hottest thing i ate in years. It cleared up my nasel congestion I didn't know that I had. I happen to make wings really well, fried, smoked, jerked, buffalo'ed...you name it, so I know a good wing when I bite into it. I had their 'Southern Fried Wings' and they were fabulous!! Crisp, cooked all the way through and very tasty. Oddly enough, they reminded me of one of my restaurant favs, 'Kookaburra Wings' from Outback. The owners have a family member with a food allergy so they have really made the effort to ensure the wings are gluten free. The only wings you can't have are the Southern Fried Comfort. Those wings are in a separate fryer! So you can have the fries and sweet potato fries. They even told us they had waffle fries but made sure that they were dusted with rice flour. We had the sweet potato fries with wow fry sauce. Amazing! So good because I didn't need the entire small serving of sauce to finish the fries because they were not dry but also not greasy. Same with the wings, not greasy and overly full of sauce. You can even have the Asian flavor wings because they are using Tamari Soy Sauce, which is gluten free. The chef is really experienced and knows what he's doing so you may think the price is a bit high but these wings were large, flavorful, not greasy with too much skin, and the Buffalo wings were spicy but not dripping with sauce. I had the 3x3 sampler and each one was amazing. Peaceful Journey wings were seasoned with turmeric and some other Indian spices, possibly cumin and ginger. It came with a green sauce that was like a mint chutney. Next I had the Kiss of Lemon and Pepper and these were so juicy and delicious. Trying out World of Wings for the first time today. They just recently opened up in Anthem & it's a must try. Tried the kiss of lemon & pepper flavored 5 piece. Oh my gawd! So good!! Had me making yummy noises with every bite. The fresh made ranch & blue cheese put it over the top for me. 10/10!!! Mimi up front at the counter is super friendly & her husband is cooking in the back. She told me all about how they got started. Now the wings did take 15 minutes, but I'm not complaining. I had the Bayou (picture attached), and it was phenomenal. A dark mustard dipping sauce is included that really adds to the flavor.
