World's End moved across the street in the old Neon Bottle/Defiance Nightclub spot. The owners have been fixing it up and now they have more seating and they have added pool tables, an air hockey table, skee-ball and some arcades. They bill it as a family fun center. We have been twice since they move and I don't know, the space is dreary, dark and very spread out (over three rooms). They haven't moved all their taps over so their beer menu is limited, but that is fine except they expect you to go to the bar to see the beer menu - there isn't a paper list or QR code at the table - which I find annoying. Also, If I want to pick up my beer and walk a few steps to play skee-ball this seems to throw the wait staff off. So I guess they expect us to eat, pay and THEN play - whatever - just run a card and let me roam! Oh and bring dollars and change because they don't have a change machine (and the games have not been converted for credit cards) and the one time we saw a couple ask the waitress to make change her attitude told me not to ever do that again. Yikes. Food is super basic. We ordered pretzels and they were literally super pretzels you can get at the supermarket that were barely nuked to make them sort of warm (for almost $9). We stopped going to eat here a few years back when they served me a gray hot dog - so the food is not for me. Beer is very fruity and some are good. They do have a wide variety of domestics and imports. I really wanted to love this place and I am guessing many will, but for me it is dark, food is basic and the new games are nice, but I wish they were easier to get change and just wander and play. read more

The beer was really good my partner said. He ordered the Octoberfest and the Revelation IPA. We started with the fried pickles. They were delicious with the blackened ranch dressing. My partner enjoyed the Pueblo Burger with onion rings. I had the chicken wings with split between dry rubbed with old bay and brown sugar bourbon. The service was spot on with a friendly and knowledgeable server. We will defiantly be back. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. read more

We're always excited to try new breweries during our travels, but sadly this stop was pretty disappointing. The service was friendly, although we asked several times for ranch dressing for our fried pickles & fries, but it never came. Ambiance was lacking as it felt kind of dark & dingy inside. My husband and I went with a friend so we were able to get tasters of every beer on tap. I think we tried close to 15 beers; only 2 of which were decent. The glasses seemed a bit dirty and it seems like maybe their beer lines weren't clean as each beer had an off taste you typically get from dirty lines. We got some appetizers. They were just okay. Very mediocre and a tad pricey for what you get. Basket of fries was the best part. Glad we tried World's End, but if we're ever back in this area, we would not return. read more

We were apprehensive to stop here due to the Yelp and Google reviews. We stopped here for drinks only with our dog and sat on the patio. The two of us ended up splitting a flight (I think it was something like 5 for $10.75 so very reasonable in my opinion). We got the Code Blue, Frost berry (blackberry kolsch), Kings Rona on nitro, Zugspitze (German Pilsner), and Jormungandr (fruited sour). The frost berry was my favorite although it did taste a little artificial to me (almost like a blue raspberry jolly rancher?). My husband liked the Code Blue which was a blueberry wheat that came with blueberries in it but I didn't care for the taste. The rest of the beers were solid. Service - waiters were attentive and timely, no complaints here! We were seated and able to order quickly. But when I walk in the front door...WITH CUSTOMERS FROM COLORADO JEEP TOURS, and you can literally scrape the grease/grime/dirt/bacteria off of the door frame, you really end up doubting why you even went in. This place has the perfect location for walking and hanging out on Main St. They have a great selection of beer and the menu is huge...almost too many choices. The guys got burgers and were very happy. I wanted something smaller to eat but all the appetizers were fried fried fried so I ordered a salad that was big enough for 4 of us to share. Anytime there is outdoor seating- the restaurant automatically gets a lot of points from me! Love the outdoor seating, love the service, the bathrooms were clean, and food very good- as well as prices super reasonable! I have a lot of allergies, and the chef accommodated these. Chesney- our waitress- was very attentive and made sure to check back periodically to ensure everything was okay. The restaurant is right on the main road in what is the rebuilt/historic area. Came here with the family while passing through Cañon City. The southwest steak salad was flavorful. The chicken panini was a favorite. Food was great as always but the service was terrible. We sat outside on sunday afternoon near the feont door in feont of a window. They were not busy, maybe 3 other tables. We didnt get water. Thw server took our orde, brought our food and drinks and never came back after delivering our food. The person who came with our bill- not our original server- asked if everything was okay. I said we would have liked water and another drink- did you forget about us? Instead of saying yes (which they clearly did) we were told there were two 6 top tables and people kept walking in. Honestly, I can't remember but I think they both had burgers. My husband said the fish tacos were decent. The salad was pretty typical too, not a standout. They had a great variety of beer so much so I had trouble choosing which ones to taste. The ones I did pick were good as well. My husband didn't like them as much, but I thought they were definitely above average and the flavors were creative. I always go for the sours and fruity beers so that is what I tried plus an imperial stout. One of the beers was a blueberry, which I thought was quite good. Came here for dinner on Easter Sunday. It was pretty much the only place open in town apart from the fast food chains and thankfully they served food. I had the blonde beer which was very drinkable and enjoyable. The non-beer drinker had their bottled Apple Cider from the next town over, Penrose and enjoyed it too. Between us we had the chilli dogs with loaded fries and the western nachos. The food isn't anything to rave about but it's good, goes well with your drinks. The nachos were huge as expected but tasty a little bit more toppings would have been good but I appreciated the layering so everything wasn't just on the top. We were just passing through Cañon City and thought, "let's see what their historic downtown is like..." Well, it's very nice, and you can sit and enjoy a view of it in this fantastic brewery. World's End has a large selection of beers, and every single one I tried was delicious! I'm not a fan of hoppy beers, so I don't get any of their IPAs or the like, but they have an amazing Mexican Lagers, great sours, and superb stouts. The food was good too! I do love my Buffalo wings, and theirs were cooked right, and the sauces were more than tasty. I recommend the mango habañero sauce. read more

This was one of our first post Covid-19 restrictions dining out experiences. Two days after the restrictions were lifted. We arrived without reservations and the staff was accommodating to provide us seating outside. We ordered the BLT and the Chicken Panini sandwiches and enjoyed both but the Chicken Panini had more flavor. We order two beers and enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air. I've fit some pretty large things in my mouth and this one is maybe top five. I had the Tropical low and Dragon spit which were just Only missing star is because during my stay, all I could hear was the manager barking away about nonsense. This place was a disappointment. I ordered a simple Caesar salad with salmon and it was terrible. The salmon was a pre-frozen, reformed pattie that was chopped up and sprinkled over the top. It was dry and not good. I sent it back because I couldn't avoid the awful salmon chunks. The waitress said they would take it off our bill. I asked for a menu, intending to order something else, but then she came back and reneged on what she said and then stated the best they could do was to take 25% off for the salad I didn't even eat. At that point, we paid and left. I'm incredulous. What a classless way to handle this. This is not how you provide service. Update: the owner intervened and credited back $10 for the salad. I still don't think I would go back, but appreciate the attempt to do something meaningful after the fact. read more

I would not recommend this place to visit for food or drinks. The food is incredibly poor even for bar food and the beer is such low quality as far as taste. No one in the kitchen wears hair nets even with long hair and beards. The two bartenders we had were not our favorite as one was incredibly rude to the rest of the staff and the other was leaving work to get high. Such a great addition to Cañon City Main Street! Great selection of brews & food! The ambiance is casual and low key. They're open 11am-11pm daily, nice to have an options in Cañon! However I think there's some improvements that could be made to make it a more lively scene. There was no music so you just heard everyone else's conversations & there are TVs but no sound. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately our experience started good and ended pretty poorly. The hotel staff recommended this spot to us for dinner. We sat inside by the window since there was a long wait to sit outside due to limited seating with COVID. There were quite a few flies around us. They have a pretty solid list of beers that they brew and they have great prices on beer flights! I really enjoyed the Code Blue and the EF-5, they were very light and refreshing. The acrylic beer flight holders looked dirty though. The waitress was friendly and hustling but new so a little all over the place. When it came to ordering food, they were out of quite a bit of items which was frustrating. We got the peel and eat shrimp for appetizer which was good. We couldn't order any fish because they were out of all fish. I ended up with the BLT and my partner got a BYO burger. When the food came out, we still hadn't received any silverware and we had to ask twice for some waters. My partner's burger was very burned AND didn't come with half the topping he ordered, they claimed they had run out of bacon but my BLT had so much bacon on it (the bacon was delicious though). I wanted to like the interior of the restaurant but there was something odd about it, I think the carpeting threw the whole vibe off. Carpet should not be allowed in restaurants. This restaurant has great potential but it feels like the owner needs to step up. read more

The employees here are super friendly and gave awesome recommendations. I got the panini which was absolutely perfect. I did a beer tasting and the super sweet and helpful bartender, Tim, set me up with a great selection. The fairy dust under a light is amazing. The Code Blue with blueberries was very tasty.
