Review is for Doordash order: To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of classic burritos - the textures of the tortilla is too inconsistent (soft, rubbery, cardboard dry) and the beans and rice filling are often just too heavy for me. I do like a good wrap however,as the possibilities are endless and I feel you can get a lighter yet satisfying meal with the right ingredients. World Wrapps is in San Ramon City Center and definitely lives up to the name! They offer Argentinean (famous for beef!), Korean, Indian, Thai, Japanese, and yes Mexican-inspired wraps. Unlike burritos, the wrapping holding the food together can be soft flatbread, dried seaweed, or rice paper. They also add a good amount of pickled and fresh veggies to balance out the protein. The Furikake Salmon is probably our favorite. Its essentially a sushi-burrito but with roasted salmon and seasoned rice with Furikake seasoning and avocado. Its good-sized too and better than the rolls I've had at Origami in San Ramon. (5 stars) Also good is the Argentina Chimichurri Wrap, probably their signature item. Its a bit wetter and messier than the Furikake Salmon, but trust me that slightly tart sauce goes really well with the beef. It has a good balance of soft rice and lettuce so you get a pleasant crunchiness too with each bite (4 stars). Definitely including World Wrapps for our lunch rotation. They occasionally have specials like Paella Wraps and Impossible Meat wraps. Also, they can offer lots of customization for you. If you are looking for a health conscious place to try and want a meal that is bang for your buck, this is the exact place for you!! I have been to this location and its sister locations (santa Clara and Corte Madera) numerous time for lunch and dinner . My go to order is the furikake salmon, which I request as a bowl (+ $1). I have to say this meal is addicting. I could literally eat this meal every day for rest of my life. Rice (5/5): The rice is cooked perfectly and has an aromatic smell that goes well with the salmon and the veggies. Salmon (5/5): This is the key component to what makes this dish so phenomenal. The fish is cooked so perfectly that it is still moist and has an amazing bake char to it that pairs well with the mayo. If I could, I would order just the salmon alone to meal prep. Veggies (5/5): I would say the selection is truly amazing and goes well with the whole meal. Overall, I would recommend this specific dish. I have tried other dishes, but this specific one will get you hooked. I love that it is healthy and leaves you feeling good- not too heavy of a meal. On 6/11/2024, I happen to meet the owner of the store and he is extremely amazing. He was very welcoming along with his staff. He was very accommodating and made me feel part of the community. He gave me great recommendations on what to order and was attentive with me during my time dining in. I happen to come here around lunch hour and it usually is not too busy and the facilities is spotless. I love eating at this establishment and have been eating here at least 2-3 times a week. A great alternative from your greasy burger and pizza lunch/dinner. Food is always fresh and made to order. Don't be fooled by the few number of people dining inside, foot traffic is pretty high with customers constantly coming and going to pick up their orders. Staff acknowledges frequent repeat customers and checks up on those dining in. I've visited World Wrapps sporadically and it's only today I realized the guy who seemed like the front of the house is actually their manager, Ace. Great respect to Ace for having a proactive disposition by engaging customers walking in and making sure to be thanking customers after their meals. Food portion is plenty and I would typically save half of a wrap for a snack. My usual choice from the menu is the chimichurri but I was heavily convinced to try out the Thai chicken. Recommendation was spot on and now I have a new favorite. Both my picky toddlers enjoy the salmon teriyaki and rice (not on the menu but they'd sub if requested). Hmmm, this restaurant has 4 1/2 stars which I find really weird. Today, we ordered two entrées and a drink. We also ordered the Argentina Chimichurri with steak. The chimichurri sauce is on the salad as a dressing. He said if he orders this again that he'll have it with the sauce on the side. It was too saucy for him even though the dish has chimichurri in its name. I had to tell my order to the cashier multiple times and she was just looking at me with a blank stare. She was not a very helpful cashier at all. I ordered the Samurai Salmon which consisted of salmon, white rice, cucumber, red cabbage slaw, daikon sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, wasabi vinaigrette, and wasabi aioli. Most of the fish was not dry, but it had a lot of sauce slathered on top which didn't make it taste saucy so that was good. However, the sauce didn't really taste like anything. Entire dish had only one bite that had a slight hint of wasabi and there was no other taste of anything really. The two people clearing the tables were very nice and very fast. The one woman Who is wearing a French twist in her hair was very nice to us and she was the one who helped for this review to get to three stars from two. I wish you had more people like her working at this restaurant. I've always passed by this new place and finally decided to try it for lunch. The cashier was super nice and gave me popular item suggestions. I ended up ordering the Thai Chicken Wrap. The peanut sauce was definitely the highlight for me along with the super green flat bread wrap. The burrito was warm, which I liked, and very filling. For about $10, it's definitely a great price point for lunch compared to surrounding restaurants. Love the food here!! My go to is the furikake salmon wrap!! I love the sauce and best to eat warm. I've had it to go before and it gets a little soggy after. But fresh and warm is so scrumptious. The rice portion is a little on the light side; but they give a good portion of the salmon and veggies.the veggies are pickled and have good flavoring. It has nice pairing with the sauce. This is a busy plaza and parking may be hit or miss, especially on weekends and weeknights - there is usually more parking in their attached parking garage, rather than the parking lots around the building. This is one of those restaurants where you order and pay at the counter first. The food did not take that long to come out, and one of employees was friendly and she was nice enough to bring the food to the table for me, which I appreciated. I tried their Furikake Salmon Nori Wrapp. The size was decent for the price, but there was not that much protein inside. It also breaks apart easily and was a bit messy to eat - the salmon was a tad dry as well, but nothing a little sauce could not fix. this place recently opened up at city center bishop ranch so my friend and I were really excited to try it out! Grabbed a philz and had this for lunch. There was both indoor and outdoor seating; even though this is a fast casual place and we were sitting outside, we got asked several times how our food was which was really surprising and nice! The menu is definitely interesting because there's a mix of Japanese, Indian, Korean, Vietnamese, and Hawaiian flavors. They have boba as well. I got the furikake salmon bowl and thought it tasted pretty good + was a decent amount of food. The salmon and sushi rice were cooked very well and complemented the sauce. Its tasty, a good amount of poke inside, and deceivingly filling, even for me. I thought i'd be on the hunt for some nearby ramen to supplement my meal, but it was fine. First of all, it had an ingredient that was definitely rotten and made the entire meal not edible. We went back to World Wrapps for a second time this evening because we had a good experience the first time and the person who took our order today got our order wrong and was dismissive. We ordered the vegan Hawaiian Poke bowl and vegan Spicy Tuna bowl and mentioned vegan several times and it was as if we couldn't get her full attention. During our first visit, we were asked which ingredients we wanted and she did not ask us at all. It felt as if she wanted to just get us over with. We were the only ones in line and it wasn't busy at all. We didn't realize they gave us fish until we ate a few pieces thinking maybe it was a fish substitute, but we didn't see that you needed to order with the tofu option to make it vegan and I am thoroughly upset and very disappointed. We had to ask to check and the guy who helped us brought our order back and corrected it. What bothered me was that they did not apologize once. I've never experienced such poor service for a mistake like that before. The only reason I'd return is because the food is quite good, but it's upsetting to have to make sure they get the order right.
