Craved for a sandwich. Found this place that I haven't tried. Showed up around 2pm and no line. Had a few choices that I wanted to try, but decided to go with Baja Chicken. The sandwich was great and I guess it's normal for a sandwich to be $14 after tax now. The guy behind the counter asked what kind of bread. We asked what kind is available. There were three choices- pictorial listed at the very top of the visual menu board. Who can see that? The three choice selections should be placed eye level. That would definitely speed up the ordering process. White, wheat, & sourdough. Every sandwich comes with The Works. You can do the Meal Deal - fountain drink with a bag of chicken for additional $3.50. Today was definitely a labor shortage day - one order taker & one sandwich maker. Hubby timed it. It took 20 minutes from when he placed our orders to when our sandwiches were made & our # called. This is my second time coming here. It has been well over a year so I'm glad I'm in the area to have another sandwich. The place has outdoor and indoor seating right now. Indoor dining they have the information about the county requiring the vaccination or proof of negative tests so if you plan to eat inside don't forget to bring this with you. The place is really clean and at the time I came it wasn't busy at all. It took about 5 minutes to order and get my food. So they are pretty quick. The facility has restrooms around the corner from the bagel shop so that's a plus as well because there wasn't a bathroom inside. I got the highly reviewed sandwich the hot pesto turkey sandwich on Sourdough because I wanted to see what all the positive feedback was all about. I must say I'm glad I got it because it was amazingly good. The bread was warm and fresh and they are not stingy with the vegetables and meat. I definitely want to come back and try another sandwich the next time. If you love sandwiches like I do I recommend trying this place out. It's been too long since I've been back to this nice little sandwich shop tucked away in the Magnolia Square Center. My friend and I were in the area and hungry. I had to get reacquainted with the menu. I didn't realize they offered so many sandwich types like the Classic, Signature, Hot and the Vegetarian. This time I decided on the Sinatra on white which is almost the same as the Godfather, without Italian Prosciutto. The Sinatra is my favorite. It reminds me of the old Togo's #15 removed from their menu many years ago. Togo's closed in San Ramon so Sandwicheez has become my local favorite to support. This place is bright and clean with indoor and outside seating It's a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy a good sandwich for lunch. To top it off the chocolate chip cookies were so gorgeously good and gooey, i had to take home a few, maybe the earlier the better but I doubt these will ever have a bad day. They have this location in San Ramon and plenty in Oakland but this was the closest location to Concord, so I say for locals in this area give this location a try, plenty of parking! I've been traveling so much the last 4 months, it's been hard to keep up with the recent boom of new restaurants in the Tri-Valley. For a while retail eateries have been stagnant with many empty spaces. The influx of restaurants not just the City Center has given us a bunch of new choices. Sandwicheez is a new sandwich shop in the Ulta/Petco shopping center. The menu has 18 different sandwiches 9 hot or oven toasted. They also offer salads and wraps. I had the Godfather, Italian Prosciutto, Ham, Salami, Mortadella, and Provolone cheese. Regular size $9.95. The Godfather sandwich was good with freshly sliced ingredients. I had it on white bread which was huge so took out 1/3 of the excess bread. Next time I'm gonna ask for just half the bread. Nice friendly service. Parking between 12-30 and 1 pm on the weekday is hard to find with all the restaurants in the center. Tip: Park in the back side lot on the other side of Petco. For beverage, I had the refreshing Pomegranate Lemonade, as well as some "Dirty" Potato Chips. Food came out in a reasonable time manner despite it being pretty busy. Out of the three we ordered, my favorite was the Chicken Florence. The ingredients within the sandwich were fresh and complimented one another, the bread was warm and chewy, and portion size was generous to share with my fiancé. Forewarning though, the sandwich did get a bit messy to eat, but still tasty! The restaurant is located in a plaza with parking both in the front and back. It is on the smaller side with limited indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating, which will be perfect for the spring and summer time. Tables were clean and decorations were minimalistic and modern. Lastly, service was great! All the staff I encountered were warm, welcoming, and helpful! Located in a plaza with a few other businesses, there's plenty of parking. Upon walking in, I noticed how spotless the place was and well organized. You can also choose what type of wrap you'd like/I opted for spinach. There's not a lot of seating but outside there are more tables that can be used in warmer weather. Hot pastrami with Swiss cheese, add onion: it was cold (we ate five minutes after picking up so had not been warmed at all), had no Swiss cheese or onion. 2. Super caprese did not have roasted peppers and the avocado was rotten (see picture). The "super" upcharge was for the addition of roasted peppers and avocado, so it was a total waste. 3.
