Michelle from the Kingstown reef location never called me back either

So long story short I booked a weekend stay for my daughters first bday at the WorldMark reunion location. Upon check in they hype up this extravagant sell to get you to spend time taking a tour and in return for your time they'll gift you a certificate for an weekend and seven night vacation on them. The tours are at the Kingstown reef location. Honestly nothing was wrong with the tour all except they claim it's 60-90 minute presentation and it's really not. We were there for over 2 hours. Also once you decide to not buy they keep sending more and more ppl to convince you why you should. SO NOW: if you are staying at any of their resorts I recommend not doing the tours Why: when you try to use your "gifted" stays they tell you that you Must take another 120 minute tour of a property or you will be charge $150 usd a night ..... they claim I signed an agreement stating these terms..I've asked them to send me a copy because I'm not one to sign without reading something....so I get placed on hold she looks up my profile using my phone number...(her name is April btw) she explains that they don't have the paper for me and that I'm right I didn't sign a form stating such. She tells me that her manager Michelle would reach back out to me. However no one ever did. The reason I'm leaving this review here is because I've called multiple times now I've been talked to crazy by the staff, giving bs answers, refusal to escalate calls to management because "my supervisor told me to tell you....." completely unprofessional. I have been lied to about emails and call backs and I think that's very unacceptable. So please do not be like me and waste your valuable time for nothing.

Thanksgiving Family vacation 2022 For our family Thanksgiving vacation I booked a 3-bedroom presidential suite good for 8 guests. Everything was in great order and clean condition just as we've come to expect from our WorldMark resorts. We stayed at Building 4 Azalea. Aside from the master bedroom there were two other bedrooms, one with 2 Queen beds and the other w/ one Queen. The sofa in the living room was a pullout bed. All rooms were equipped with their own flat screen TV's. The fully-equipped kitchen was nice. We ate dinner together one evening and occupied the dining table... football fans in our family enjoyed watching a San Francisco 49'ers game on TV. The free laundry machines in the unit were convenient. The unit was spacious! The exterior surrounding was clean and the grounds well kept. Parking was not too far from the elevator. We stayed here for a week. Registration was quick and easy. No pressure on Owner update meetings. A sales pitch would've totally brought this experience down to a 3-Star review. We didn't have time for it... we had the family with us making memories in Orlando. The resort is located on International Drive... just minutes away from Orlando's all major theme parks, water parks, dinner theaters, shopping centers, and golf courses. Closest theme park to us was Sea World and 0.7 miles from the Chocolate Museum & Cafe (that's a 15 min walk yo). Excellent location! We had a great time in this resort facility. Review #2782

This is out second time here. First time was great. No problems. We got our room right away. On check in, at 3:20, 6/23/21, Bridget asked us to wait until the room was inspected & released to us. Check-in time was 4PM, so we understood the wait. However, at 4:15, we continued to wait for our unit. The supervisor needed 15 more minutes to check it. By 4:35, we had the keys to our unit. When we got to our home away from home, the dishwasher was running. But when we went to empty it in the morning, nothing was in it! When we made coffee, coffee grounds were still in the pot. We could not make eggs and bacon right away because we could not find a frying pan. Kit delivered it 20 minutes after we called. Good service! But our unit was "checked" before we got the key. So why was an empty dishwasher running, with coffee grounds in the coffee pot, and no frying pan? The bed was comfortable, and no sunlight creeped in to wake us, due to black out curtains. All of the furniture was comfortable. Both flat screen TVs worked, as did the remotes. Kitchen had everything we needed - once we got the frying pan. We liked having the balcony, and used it to sit and watch lightning storms Thursday night. We had plenty of outlets for charging devices. We did not have time to enjoy putt putt golf or the pool, but enjoyed the pool in October 2019. Only if you are a resort owner is the internet free. The staff was friendly, and apologized about late check in and lack of the pan for our breakfast. We do recommend this resort. It is 4 stars for small inconveniences.

Had recently taken a weekend trip to Orlando and had stayed at a relative's timeshare at the Worldmark Orlando Kingston Reef. We had called in advance to let them know that we would be arriving early as we had taken a red eye flight and would be checking in by 10. We had arrived and unfortunately no rooms were ready and could not provide us a time frame of how long it would be until our room was ready. We gave them our number and went on a run to grab groceries and lunch. We came back in about 2 hours and the room was still not ready. We did have plans to go to Disney that day as we were only there for such a short time. We waited in the lobby/check in area. The property gave me Key West vibes with the bright colored building and white shutters and balconies. The lobby area was a really cozy living room with a fireplace. Really felt at home. They did try to offer the timeshare presentation l but because we were there for such a short time we had declined. When our room was ready, it was very clean. We walked in and it was an open floor plan and it was the dining area, kitchen and then living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. We were only 3 people so it was a lot of space for us. The kitchen comes stocked with pots and pans, plates, utensils, dishwasher, and everything you would need. There was also a washing machine and dryer and yes we did laundry! The property is really well kept and the pool area was clean and not too crowded when we went. This location was ideal as it was located about 15 minutes from Disney and Universal Studios. There was also plenty of parking spaces close to the buildings and there was security around during the evening. Very cozy and comfortable stay overall and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a few days in May until we could get into our Bonnet room for the week. There was a bit of confusion at check-in, as my husband had asked to add one day to be double booked for one day at the end of our stay so I would have a place to stay to work remote. Reservations instead booked two separate stays with two days overlapping. The front desk manager suggested we get the days straight to make sure we would be eligible to cancel the second reservation before check-in, once check-in occurs, it's set and no canceling afterwards and no return of points either for unused rooms. After a phone call it was all straightened out. My husband had to log online to cancel the second double booking himself. They have a pool, playground and mini-golf and big chess board too. We grabbed our key and got directions to get to the room. We are staying at the Magnolia. It's an orange and lime green building. The elevators is only by the Magnolia sign for the floors. We checked out the tiny studio. Small, but functional kitchen, nice bathroom, smaller, but also workable. We had to take a double take when we couldn't figure out where the bed or bedroom was located at. There was a couch against a shelf and wall. We pulled the couch and realized it was on wheels. Low and behold the bed is hidden in the wall. I have to say I know such a hideaway bed exists, but this was the first time ever seeing it in person. We pushed the couch against the table the kitchen island and found the pillows in a bag in the closet. Nice use of space in this compact room. I am only glad we are only staying here two nights. It's quite a drastic change going from our very spacious 1 bedroom suite to this company mini studio. It's fine for what we need for a couple of days. My husband loves the coziness of it all. Me, not so much. It's quite noisy outside as every little noise can be heard and seems amplified as folks play outside or walk by. The fire alarm went off at 4:54am on our 3rd morning, what a rude awakening! We all exited our rooms before 5am to watch the fire and the security going around our Magnolia building to find out the source of the fire alarm. The fire truck rolled out by 5:25am. They are still trying to figure out how to shut off the alarm. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. It's worse when it's in the middle of the night. The alarm is still raging on an hour later. The alarm is still raging on an hour later. It wad finally turned off by 6:13am, but then went off less than a minute later. We were never able to go back to bed once it all settled.

We stayed at World Mark this week while in Orlando. The staff was very helpful, whenever we needed something they were just a text or a phone call away and handled all requests promptly. We stayed in a two suite first floor room in the Veranda. There was plenty of space for my large family. While we were there as guests and not owners we did the Wyndham presentation and tour. The newer suite they showed us is beautiful and has a ton of space. The facility had a swimming pool, playground, mini golf, and daily activities. When you check in you are given a list that provides the local grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment in the area. They have washer and dryers on different floors in the older models like we were in and washer and dryers in the room of the newer buildings like the one we toured. The facility allows you to do express check out with a text message. We enjoyed our time here.

Stayed here March 2021. Staff is ok about whole COVID precautions--they won't annoy you with "mam! Put yo mask over yo nose please!" Pool area is nice and clean. I did find someone's hair in our suit when we arrived in the "clean " towel area so housekeeping could improve their work a bit-- therefore one star off. Another star off for annoying us with inviting to timeshare presentation. We told receptionist we're not interested in wasting our time on it --yet still they called us everyday trying to convince us to come--ANNOYING!! Other than that beautiful place, gorgeous sunsets--nice and relatively quiet stay Oh and i loved the fact that they planted some fruit trees on their property. We discovered this delicious fruit and kept picking them over and over-- super yum

I was in town for the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. It was my first time staying here and I was booked for 6 nights. It was easy to find and located really close to SeaWorld. The check-in process was excruciatingly slow. There was only one person working at the counter when I got there and about 3 other groups also trying to get checked-in. I'm not sure what the hold-up was, but this was by far the worst check-in experience that I've had since becoming a WorldMark owner. Thank goodness another person showed up to check me in. Another thing out of the norm was the concierge was not there to invite me to some owner's complimentary breakfast, educational presentation, and the inevitable sales pitch. I was actually glad that that did not occur as I always have a hard time saying no to those things! They did leave me a vague phone message one evening, but they never followed up. Oh well. My room in the Veranda building was very nice and spacious. Everything was also very clean from the kitchen to the bathroom as well as the bedroom. It was much more than I needed as a single guy. It was definitely much better than the usual "value" Disney resorts that I usually stay at when I'm in town for their races. Overall this was a very nice stay even with the bad check-in experience. There was plenty of restaurant options nearby as well as a Publix supermarket if you want to save some money and cook your own food. Just remember to wash your dishes! I will definitely be staying here again in the future whenever I'm in town.

My friend and I spent all day traveling to Orlando, then we had to get our rental car, and when we finally arrived in the later part of the night to check in we just wanted to drop off our items and eat. The front desk was prompt but then we were referred to a "travel" kiosk which was actually just their timeshare desk which I told the guy I may be interested later in talking about his deals but we were in a rush then he proceeded to keep talking and I had to interrupt him because after being up since 5am and in a plane all day I wanted some food. My friend and I were there for a bodybuilding competition. I had brought some of my own food and snacks like rice cakes, honey, protein bars, etc. that could be left out of the fridge, however, I noticed a swarm of small ants all over my honey jar that was on the kitchen counter, hence the screen shots from my videos. Mind you this is real actual honey from my family's backyard not some cheap honey I got from the store. I threw it out because they were all over the sides and although it was sealed tight I didn't want to bother opening it in case they got stuck. Anyways for my sanity, I put all of my items in the fridge, freezer, or on the dining table except then they traveled all the way to the damn dining room table! Seriously was peeved and annoyed because I didn't want to deal with a bug issue, so when I brought it up to the front desk when I checked out they asked why I didn't say anything during my stay. Well, our room phone wasn't working. Anytime I made contact to the front desk I had to call using my personal cell. There were also a bunch of spiders in my bathroom and I hate spiders. Felt like I was constantly getting creeped out by insects and bugs when I was either trying to relax or consume a meal. On another note, for some odd reason the walls are paper thin. Additionally, you can hear the noises, I mean stomping and yelling from the top floors. Some of the guests were very inconsiderate I'm talking about during the very wee hours of the morning walking loudly across the floor. I know not to trust anytime there's a mention of a gym at a Worldmark resort or Wyndham hotel because they tend to be a joke. Sadly, I was not wrong. This "gym" is super tiny, has a few cardio machines, dumbbells, and a cable machine which is why I ended up purchasing a week pass at a bodybuilding gym. The thing that irked me was how cramped it was in there, but the kicker was that it was extremely muggy and hot. No a/c, I believe it was just a ceiling fan. I managed to finish an hour long cardio session in the humid "gym", which was extremely uncomfortable and gross. The other situation that peeved me was I had a massive headache. Again, I called with my cell to contact the front desk for some pain relievers. The man who answered said no, and to try some convenience stores or gas stations. I waited a bit to see how I felt after I ate, and didn't feel good enough drive around and look for advil. I called again and reached a woman. She said the same thing and I asked, "Don't you have a first aid kit? I'm positive that any first aid has some form of pain relievers." I also requested for some more laundry and dishwasher detergent. She had me wait while she looked, mentioned she found some, and asked if I'd like someone to deliver them. In my head I was thinking that it was pretty clear that I would like someone to bring them to me because my head was hurting but don't think she made that connection let alone did she really want to help her until I was extremely persistent about acquiring some pain relievers. This was a bit of a letdown that the receptionists were not trying unless what seemed like they were being bothered. At about 5am on Friday 12/17 I noticed that the fan and the clock were off. This was the morning of my show and I was afraid my tan would melt. I called the front desk to find out what happened and there was a power outage. It lasted until about 8am, and was a bit stuffy in my room so I had to open the door. During the time I tried to nap I noticed that the neighbors were obnoxiously loud again (adults and kids too). There are several items I would like to note that are positive about the resort. I like that the units are spacious, providing appliances, dishes, dishwasher, silverware, laundry and dryer machine, pretty much all the typical expected things at a resort. There are multiple pools and hot tubs, plus plenty of free parking spaces. Although this wasn't a huge issue for me since I brought my food cooked to Orlando, but there wasn't any cooking oil or spray in the kitchen, so future guests should bring or buy their own. I'm primarily giving this location a 2 star rating for quality , rather lack-thereof cleanliness, sanitary, and customer service reasons. For a destination location I have way higher expectations. People pay high amounts of money for their timeshare and maintenance fees yet this stay was not 100% what it should have been.

Well, this hotel was fabulous. I literally only have two small-ish negative things to say, and it…read moreprobably doesn't affect everyone. PRO's: -Nicely sized rooms - not huge, but not small either. I was assigned to a room with two queen beds, but it was just me, so I had an extra bed to put luggage, etc. on. -HUGE bathrooms, including a separate shower and separate bathtub, and nice amenties. -Excellent customer service - I had some ice packs I needed them to hold on to, in their freezer, and they were able to do that at the bell hop desk for me. -Ridiculously nice pool area - I was staying here for a conference and brought a swimsuit just in case, but as soon as I got to my room the first day - which they upgraded me, to a pool/lake room view, even though I don't have status with Marriott - I knew I had to try out the pool and waterslides. Luckily I had a spare hour before my conference started so I literally ate lunch and then jumped on a water slide, ha. ----There are three water slides: one you require an inner tube for, and the other two you just lay back while on it. CONs: -The area between the toilet and the toilet paper roll is super small. I am not a small person so this is probably why I had an issue, but I ended up just taking the toilet paper off the roll, because it kept hitting my thighs when I unrolled it. -The shower has a handheld area you can use or just the regular shower top (? I forget the name for that). The regular top doesn't have great water pressure, so I ended up using the handheld thing and just keeping it pointed towards me. They have a sign up in the lobby saying that Forbes chose them as one of the nicest properties in the world, I believe, and I can see why. They also have a few restaurants on site, as well as a Starbucks, but most of my meals were included at my conference; I did get Doordash the first day I was there, though. Be aware that for the Starbucks you cannot order ahead on the app, though, and the lines are often long (especially with conferences going on, and there were two while I was staying there, including ours!). I would definitely stay at this hotel again - I wasn't paying for the bill this time but I believe it is rather pricey normally, though.

The JW Marriott definitely looks and feels like a high-end property. The hotel is polished,…read moreattractive, and has the upscale atmosphere you expect from the brand. That said, the price point is definitely on the high side, so expectations naturally go up with it. For me, the biggest disconnect was the service level, which felt more fair than exceptional. Nothing was terrible, but it did not really match the luxury pricing or the overall image of the property. When you are paying premium rates, you expect service that stands out, and this felt a little more average than memorable. Overall, it is a nice hotel, but at this price level I was hoping for a stronger service experience.

Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .

The food: the bowling alley is probably one of the best food options on site (other than the Starbucks) - the salad there was actually quite good and not crazy expensive (though, everything is expensive). We also enjoyed milkshakes from the malt shop. The room was fine - we had a suite with a little kitchenette and it was spacious enough for a few days. **My only real complaint (and the reason for my lower review) was the quality of the furniture. My daughter was leaning against one of the end tables to plug something in on the other side the night before we were hitting Epic Universe early, and it collapsed below her. She fell on top of it and some portion of it punctured her leg (we think a metal pin that was poking out from one of the broken legs). We contacted hotel management, and they came with hotel security who did some basic first aid and took away the broken tables (the other one also broke from her fall). We're grateful she wasn't injured more seriously (at least that we know of yet), but it could have been so much worse if that pin had punctured a more delicate area of her body. It also definitely made the next day at the park a lot harder for her with leg pain, etc. They really need to upgrade/inspect the furniture to make sure it's safe for guests.

From the amazing staff in the roaring Fork quick service.; her name is Carolina, she displayed exceptional guest service to the highest level. She assisted my mom and I make coffee choices as well as she told me I had a cute hat. I mentioned she could find the hat in animal kingdom. We also dined at Roaring Fork last night and I had a great Mediterranean salad with chicken. After eating at roaring Fork, we went out to gyser point for some late refreshments and snacks, which I will be doing a separate review for those. The cast members to mention are Josh the chef, Anna the server from geyser point, and Josh the bartender from Geyser Point. The hotel grounds around the property are serene and have a calming quality. 10/10 Definitely recommend this stay cation

However, after MK fireworks, the boat is infinitely faster than the monorail to the TTC. So if you're here for fireworks and want a hotel that's easy to get to but cheaper than the monorail hotels, this is for you. The theming is also beautiful. It reminds me of Animal Kingdom Lodge in the richness of the theming. There's a 9 am tour of the resort to learn about the art. I didn't take it but that tells you how much amazing art there is. There is a splash pad and two pools. Pretty standard for a Disney resort. The rooms are beautiful and if you're lucky you will have a view of the castle and can watch the fireworks from your room. We stood off floor 6 and watched from a hotel window. It was pretty epic. Even rope dropping the boat was pretty quick and not super busy. It actually is a pretty convenient mode of transportation. I would definitely stay here again.

It'd Italian, I know, but it's also constructed by Americans, right? So to me it was a mix of Italian, but also kitsch. Entering the lobby area, I had a similar feeling. Ornate, grand, but slightly gaudy. It kind of reminded me a Real Housewives circa 2011. Definitely unique to Universal properties, but also a tiny bit dark. There was a bit of a wait at check-in but the staff was on it! So many different needs and questions, and they handled it all. Kelly checked me in and she was awesome. I loved her authenticity, helpfulness, and honestly, she really reset my energy after a long trip in. I didn't get into my room until around 4:15pm. I did request a room in a the West wing, and would probably skip asking for that in the future if the wait will be so much longer. I didn't get to try the restaurants I wanted, I was just so tired. Sal's deli and service was really cute, though! But I wasn't crazy about the sandwich (for another review). The winner in Portofino for me? The pools. I really, really loved the quieter pool away from the big pool with the slide. Now that truly felt like I was not in Orlando. The slide in the other pool is fun! The energy is high, playing top 40 hits and such. Great for kids. But the other pool? Playing old school italian music, with mostly adults, and a true villa feel. I think I would go again with family just for the pool. Though finding your way around can lead you to many stairs and a bit of a "maze" feeling. That part did feel authentically Italian, though! Ha.

The resort was easy to navigate, and there were no shortages of dining options. The room was gorgeous and had some thoughtful touches that I appreciated, including pillow spray, a clothes steamer, and even a weighted blanket. It's the little things that make a work trip feel a bit more like a vacation. My biggest complaint? The gym was about the size of my thumbnail. Thankfully, it still managed to squeeze in everything I needed for a solid workout, so I can't complain too much. The conference food was good, though nothing particularly memorable. The late-night food offerings, however, were a welcome surprise and definitely earned bonus points. This is a fantastic property for hosting large corporate meetings and events. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. They did have to move some activities indoors due to weather, but everything seemed to be handled smoothly. Overall, a great resort that balances business and leisure well.

There's a lot to love about this resort. The jogging trail and overall scenery are genuinely beautiful and make it feel like a relaxing escape after long park days. The freestyle soda machines were a nice perk, and the food quality exceeded expectations--it felt thoughtfully prepared rather than typical cafeteria-style resort food. Our room was very clean, which always makes a big difference, and the variety of transportation options to the parks was convenient and flexible. For what we paid, the value felt fair, especially considering the amenities. The pool area was also a highlight, and throughout our stay, the employees were consistently professional and helpful. The on-site laundry room was another underrated bonus--it made it easy to head home without a pile of laundry waiting. That said, there were a few drawbacks. We did notice gnats occasionally making their way into the room, which was frustrating. Transportation to Magic Kingdom in particular was inconsistent--the bus took a long time and caused us to miss early entry one morning. One bus driver interaction also stood out, as we were repeatedly corrected about our stroller not being "fully folded" (even though it was), along with strict direction on where we could stand or sit. Additionally, depending on your room location, the walk to Centertown Market can be quite long and inconvenient. The resort is also a bit far from any off-property convenience stores if you need to grab last-minute items, and the lack of a fitness center may be a downside for some guests. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, this was a fun and enjoyable place to stay. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and I would recommend it--and would stay here again.
