I've stayed at plenty of WorldMarks in my day. The rooms tend to be much bigger than a hotel, the parking is easy, they have little kitchnettes and overall they are pretty good but not exceptional. This was an exceptional stay. I was excited when I saw a Studio was available the week we wanted to travel, so I booked it. I did not realize the unlike the others rooms, the studio only has a murphy bed. For my wife and I who always sleep in a king at home, it was less than ideal. I looked online and they didn't have a Single available for the rest of the days of my stay. I went down to the front to see what they could do. The manager Cody was great. He moved some things around and was able to get me a single. The single is easily twice as much space. The bed was comfy, the unit had AC in both the living room and the bedroom. Given how sold out West Yellowstone is this week (the other places we looked were like $400 per night), I appreciate them working a miracle and getting us a room we could enjoy. Add into that, its like three turns and less than a mile to get into the park, I would definately come back. Amazing location, amazing service and a very nice room. read more

We had a BBQ with family and friends who had a vacation rental at Worldmark Resort by Wyndham at the south end of West Yellowstone WY. (Jul 2026). It was clean and up-to-date, with a large lobby, a nice pool, some cute décor, and a large outdoor area with several gas grills. There's a small convenience store at the reception desk. We liked the facilities, and had a good time. But it felt more like a timeshare condominium complex than a "Resort". The front-desk host seemed unwelcoming in all but the most brief check-in and check-out encounters. My guess is that, for us, it was a resort hotel, but unknown short-term-rental guests need more attention and security-awareness from staff than timeshare owners need. My suggestion to travelers would be, yes, come here for a vacation rental, but don't expect resort-like courtesies. It bills itself as a resort, but the staff is managing time-share condos. For Worldmark, consider that your members are offering these short-term rentals, so either welcome guests, or restrict them. We were guests of renters, using the pool and bbq yard. We felt tolerated, not welcome. Update: The Worldmark commented on my review within a couple of days. To me that means they wanted to do better and will try. They didn't ask me to, but i added back a star for trying to do better. read more

This is my second time staying at Worldmark. My first stay was all right, but this time was phenomenal. I came with two of my friends and our room was spacious and next extremely comfortable. The kitchenette made it easy to save some money on food. I love how the staff open a text thread for you. I did have an issue where the first room I check in smelled strongly of smoke but the front desk was extremely responsive and switched us right away. A wonderful and memorable trip. As a timeshare owner, West Yellowstone Wyndam did not disappoint. After renting a room for a night in Jackson Hole, I couldn't be happier with our 2 bedroom. It is up to date, clean, and comfortable. We were on the second floor and we have always found people with heavy feet above us. I did request the third floor but Roxanne said there weren't any twin beds up there. I'm not sure why she thought we had to have twin beds with an adult daughter in a two bedroom?!?! Anyway, there is no option of a midweek cleaning and you must take your own trash out, but the good still outweighs any negative. Literally at the entrance of the park and at one end of town, you can walk to everything you need. It is fully functional with everything you need to cook, if that's your thing. You may need to with the prices here. There is coffee and hot water in the entrance and free DVD's available for snow days. Happy camper here! read more

I'm assuming April is not a good time for customer service at this hotel. Front desk was very rude and condescending when asking about the Park and how to get around. Not great feeling stupid when you are a customer. There are very few guests here in the hotel with us and they stacked us all on the same side of the hotel on different floor. Its are last night at 10:30 and there is a whole family above us making crazy noise and when we tried to call the front desk no one would answer the phone. When I finally got through the man said he was the only one here. None of this is acceptable at any hotel but you are a Wyndam. We are suppose to stay one more night here but we will eat the cost of our last night to stay somewhere with customer service and better hospitality read more

The construction of this place was well thought out. Coming during the off season, it's very quiet and the service is incredible. Unless you need something, you are left alone to enjoy yourself. There's a beautiful pool, hot tub, gym, game room, and spacious lobby. They play movies and have a bingo night for their guests as well! read more

Who builds a hotel without AC in this day and age. It's ridiculous, and it's making what should be an amazing vacation pretty miserable. It's 2:00 am, it's 50 degrees outside after being 87 degrees today... the walls are still radiating heat. With the windows open with a box fan blowing in cold air and it's still 76 degrees in here. We've been Worldmark members for years and never been so disappointed. Other than that, it's a nice property. Nothing crazy but better than most in the area. read more

I called to confirm my reservation two weeks prior to my stay and all was good. The hotel called me at my wedding rehearsal dinner to let me know they overbooked and canceled my reservation two days before my arrival for my honeymoon. Worst customer service. I love this hotel. Been here couple of times and I would come again if I were to go to Yellowstone again, which is very likely because as we all know the park is the equivalent of Disneyland for nature lovers. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the west entrance of the park. It has large suites, and a pool and jacuzzi. The staff were more than helpful when we were there. On our second visit, It snowed right after we got there and the car was buried. Not knowing how to deal with they got the maintenance personnel to clear all the snow off of our vehicle and provided a handy ice scraper for our windshield, which I still have as a souvenir. read more

Our group of 5 stayed here for a week in February to go snowmobiling. Resort staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and comfortable beds. Kitchens were fairly well appointed. Free coffee in the lobby. WiFi for the week for 2 devices was about $15. There are 2 hot tubs and a pool. The hot tubs were a welcome luxury after riding all day. Plenty of parking for our snowmobile trailer. And, we could leave on our sleds right from the resort. I would stay here again if I came back to West Yellowstone. read more

My friends staying here and I stayed for a day the hotel is probably the nicest in WEst Yellowstone and it's walking distance to McDonald's and other attractions are right across the street.the lobby is real nice and rustic with free coffee and flavored water they do have a little gift shop with the normal items. To be completely fair, I'm still not entirely sure how we ended up here. We tried to find a house on Airbnb, apparently the property we wanted wasn't available so somehow we got rerouted to the WorldMark, a time share property? Nonetheless, I'm gonna review it for you. First of all, there is no such thing as a luxury hotel in the Yellowstone area. There are decent hotels, there are rustic hotels, and there is straight roughing it/camping. WorldMark is definitely on the decent side, and will do just fine for your time at the park. And to be quite fair, I spent most of my time in the park. WorldMark is not a vacation destination itself, or the type of place that you spend copious amounts of leisure time hanging out at. Ideally, it serves as a launching pad for your other activities. And in terms of that, it does just fine. The room I had (which I'm assuming most if not all have) had a functional kitchen, a living area, two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one king/two twins) and a murphy bed pull out in the living room. It could have slept 5, easily, and for what it's worth, the beds were stupidly comfortable. Like most timeshare properties, the room itself is not spectacular. But a lot of times what I've noticed about timeshares is that you sacrifice luxury for space, and WorldMark is no different. I definitely prefer the latter, so it worked out just fine for me. Not to say that the property is poor. It's certainly adequate, but don't expect to come here and have a Jackson, Park City, Aspen experience. One thing you may find bothersome is the lack of control of the thermostat. There is no air conditioning, but realistically unless you are one of those "always hot" people this shouldn't be an issue. At night it gets quite chilly, and heat can be remedied by opening a window. Otherwise, from what I gather there was a jacuzzi, pool, and a basketball court. A small gift shop that has last minute gifts and emergency toiletries. The staff here were fine, interacted with them once without problem. All in all, it's probably the best game in town. For its intended purpose, it's just fine. read more

We went in August and much to our surprise this place doesn't have an air-conditioning unit. The room we stayed in got very hot. The staff was friendly and did bring in a couple of fans, yet the rooms were hot. The furniture in the room were super cheap quality, the couches had a wooden plank under the flimsy cushions to sit on. The Wi-Fi had to be paid for and so were the DVD rentals. The lounge was the only area that had an air-conditioning unit. The indoor pool, hot tub and the wading pool were great. The room came equipped with a kitchen and washer-dryer. These are the only pro's I can think of. read more

In terms of customer service this place is 5 Star, no annoying owner pitches or hassle to go to meetings. Also we appreciated the linen exchange to your door instead of having to drag your dirty towels around the hotel for clean ones. In terms of size its 3 Star, hence the four star rating. We have stayed in tons of different locations and this was by far one of the smallest Two bedrooms we have seen. There wasn't enough space to wheel the light to the closet in the twin bedroom! The master was better but I would've been embarrassed if I wasn't putting small kids in the twin room. The living area was also very small. Not much they can do about it now but just know these rooms are meant as sleeping quarters and not roomy luxury suites. We didn't spend much time in the room so it was OK for our needs. Also no BBQ on the decks, a community BBQ that was being used every night. Bummer In regards to no air conditioning. We came in late July, it got to be 30 degrees most nights. We cracked our windows and then closed them in the morning. Even after it got to 90 the room stayed cool all day, ceiling fans in every room as well. read more

For the price points this place overall this place hits the mark for an extended stay. There are many reasons to stay here...proximity to Yellowstone is the biggest event reason. The next are the extras which includes the heated pool and two hot tubs...definitely great after a long hike. The rooms are a good size with the basics for cooking and laundry in the room. Our biggest complaint was the heating...we couldn't control it and was very warm...around 80f all day. Sent from my iPhone I'm at West Yellowstone trying to talk my husband out of packing up and leaving! We took the 14 hour drive here and was greeted by a rude receptionist. She couldn't tell us where the nearest market is and suggested for us to read the information on the walls of the elevator. Our room doesn't have any air. We have a rickety old ceiling fan that wobbles like it's going to fall and makes lots of noise. In the morning I realized we didn't receive coffee filters so my husband went to the front desk and asked for some. The lady at the front desk was rude and told him he was "pushing it!" This is how you want your company represented? I don't. I spent lots of money investing in this company and I for the first time don't feel welcome here. I want to speak with the manager of this place! I did speak to someone in charge as they don't have a manager at the moment and they desperately need one. I was told that the person who was so boldly rude to my husband would be spoken to. Unfortunately that didn't help us at all. We continue to get crappy service at the front from the same lady. In addition to that my husband called the front desk to ask for toilet paper as our room didn't have any spare toilet paper. (All the rooms should come with one spare for each bathroom) the desk told my husband that it was too far for housekeeping to come and gives a roll that should have been in the room in the first place! I hurt my knee yesterday and my husband couldn't walk to the front as he was on the toilet so I hobbled over there to get the TP! WTF is my dues going to? This is unacceptable! read more

Overall: In West Yellowstone, it's probably the largest hotel and it's reasonably updated. Service was lacking though and needs more training. Accommodations: 3 stars. 2 bath, 2 bedroom, kitchen, Murphy pull down bed, and living room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was functional but outdated. Fireplace didn't work properly. Prices: 3 stars. I booked through AirBnB for about $400 per night. Service: 2 stars. The initial front desk experience was bad. It took the person awhile to find my reservation, and then said it was cancelled (which I didn't cancel). Waking up to construction and constant banging in the hotel is definitely not the most pleasant way to wake up. Especially when you come to Yellowstone to get away and refresh from the craziness of the city. I wish they let us know this before checking in or placed us in a room where the noise isn't so loud. Not sure why Yelp doesn't have this place listed, it's been around for a while now. Worldmark by Wyndham as most know by now are timeshare condos. We spent several days here just before Labor day, the resort is large, having a nice size indoor swimming pool and two spas that each held about 12 adults. Pool temp was just right, the deep end was about 5-6 feet deep, they also had a nice size kiddie pool. Outdoor basketball court is on property with "bear" protection fencing, shopping and eateries were within walking distance. The rooms were fine, they are styled in a "western rustic" look, my better half felt they looked old from the colors they used for the interior and floor rugs. Only real gripe I had was the fact there wasn't any AC, and once you ran the clothes drier or fired up the oven it got toasty warm in there, such that we needed to open the windows. Each room has ceiling fans but they just weren't enough. I suppose heating is a bigger issue than AC at that elevation. Plenty of parking, but still the number of elevators is this place, like all Worldmark locations, is lacking. We got lucky and stayed on the 1st floor, 2 elevators for these places is just not enough. Knocked down 1 star for having to pay for WiFi, as with most Workmark locations there are "business" centers for Internet access, but I feel in-room WiFi or a Internet connection would be better for privacy sake, and in this day and age, should be free. Overall enjoyed the location, staff were nice, towel swap out and lobby were a nice touch. read more

We booked a 2 bedroom suite. Unfortunately, it was not ready by the 4pm checkin. Another customer was told it would be an additional hour. That put a haze over our stay. Luckily, everything else went great. The room was comfortable and spacious. My kids enjoyed the pool. Although we booked this on vrbo - it has a hotel feel without the hotel amenities. No ice machine and such. In addition, they would take better care of the outside of the place. It's all in the details. Overall, not bad. read more

We stayed in a condo here thru VRBO. The location is good, just outside of Yellowstone. Unfortunately the wifi went down right before we arrived and it eased down the entire 5 days we were there, so that was a major problem. The DVD player to TV cable was broken, therefore we were unable to watch any of the movies we brought. The kitchen had a full set of pots and pans and dishes, which was great. They also had a little spice rack available. They had no shampoo, conditioner, soap or lotion. And we ran out of toilet paper. But they did have a small packet of laundry detergent and dishwashing soap available. While it was pretty cool at night while we were there, last this summer when it is hot, just be warned there is no AC. The exercise room is small and only contains cardio equipment, but is open 24/7. read more

We are still here, with five more nights to go. I'm surprised at some of the less than stellar reviews (mostly on Trip Advisor). This is the fourth property we've stayed at, since we bought our Timeshare. While not as beautifully landscaped as the Indio, CA property, it's still a very nice property. We arrived at noon, knowing we were four hours early. We are used to the 4pm check-in policy. We got a call, on our cell, that the room was ready at 1:30pm. The front desk staff was very friendly. Great start. The room is very nice. We are on the third floor, facing East. The rooms are very clean, well-appointed with Montana style furniture. The pool is indoor, and has a very strong smell of chlorine. Minor drag on the chlorine, but they do have adult swim hours in the morning and at night. We are too busy sight-seeing to use it. I wish Worldmark would offer free wi-fi, but we accept that's just the way it is. The location is perfect. We can hear the wolves at the Grizzly and Wolf Center, howling at night and early in the morning. We like it! The property is walking distance to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. So far, we have zero complaints-- well, a/c would be nice, but the ceiling fans are okay. It's in the mid-eighties, but it's a dry heat. This is our first visit to Montana/Wyoming, and we are having a blast! read more

We stay at a Worldmark property somewhere for almost every annual family reunion. This one would rate 5 stars (no annoying owner pitches or sales meetings) if it had decent Wi-Fi, but the ResortNet service is last-century in its speed. We tried to Skype relatives who could not make it to this year's family reunion, but the picture resolution was lousy because of the low bandwidth. Forget trying to stream ANYTHING in real time. ResortNet -- you should be ashamed to charge anything for the "service" provided here. The location is fabulous -- an easy walk to both grocery stores and the town's top tourist attractions, and very near the park's western entrance. read more

Room was very comfortable and spacious. The distance to the park was super convenient and a huge bonus for sure. The bed was nice and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The only downside was there was no aid conditioning, so unless the windows were open, the room would get a little warm. Other than that, very please with out stay. We stayed at the WorldMark in West Yellowstone for 8 days and 8 nights. It was beyond comfortable to say the least! The receptionist that originally greeted us was extremely welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. There were 4 of us staying there, all adults, and they made sure to convert our two twin bed room to a king right away. We were given maps around the hotel and the National park and all the directions we would need were described well. After checking into our rooms, we grabbed some ice cream, movies and jammies from the small gift area. We also had to pay a small fee for wifi for the 8 days we were staying. The lobby had water and coffee, and one of the colder days they had a crockpot full of chicken soup available for guests to eat! We were snowed out of the Park one day, and the hotel had a craft planned for the day, as well as movies and other activities other nights of the week. Any additional coffee filters or salt and pepper we needed were provided promptly! I do have to say the furniture in the living room is not the most comfortable, but we weren't in the state of Montana to sit on some couches!! Oh, and bring ziplocks, Tupperware and ketchup! read more

They Cancelled a Paid Reservation at the last minute!!! Paid 4 months in advance for a 2 bdrm 2 bathroom. WorldMark called 4 days before our trip to inform us that our room was not available and the only recourse was a 1bdrm 1 bathroom which would not work for our group. We scrambled for other accommodations. Paying prime rates for less than adequate accommodations because of having to book at the last minute. read more

There is no air conditioning and I thought that would be a problem, but fans are supplied and our stay was very comfortable. We recently held a family reunion at the WorldMark - - which included more than 20 people and ages that ranged from young toddlers to senior citizens. The staff did an amazing job responding to all our requests from extra towels and fans to ice-maker repairs. They were efficient, friendly and always courteous. We used the party room on multiple occasions for family dinners and the bar-b-ques were clean and easy to use. The entire resort was family friendly with a wonderful indoor pool, two jacuzzis, and children's pool along with the outdoor playground / basketball court. The location made for an easy to walk to downtown and the other activities in West Yellowstone, in addition to a short drive to the park's west entrance. We cannot thank the West Yellowstone WorldMark team enough for making our stay so wonderful. We absolutely recommend this resort to other families planning a Yellowstone vacation. read more

Stay somewhere else ! Worst stay ever! It started with the manager waking us up at 6 AM w/ phone 1st morning cuz we were supposed to move rooms... We had arrived at midnight so 6 AM was not appreciated. I immediately unplugged the phone &went back to sleep. Hey manager! slip a note under the door if you want to communicate with your guests. Do not call Before a reasonable hour! like 10am They could see that we checked in at midnight in their system so no excuses! Next there was the Mr Pervert! who kept coming into our room at 7am, 8 AM and into the day. He barely knocked & never waited for an answer. He open the door, knocked quick & walked in all the way into the room! Truly a shit head! No reason to clean our room nor give us an unscheduled wake up call in person nor to walk into our room. He's lucky... my husband is huge & he always waited until my husband left to get coffee before Pervert walked in. He did this every morning. he's lucky! another guest had a gun & if I had one... hummm. We have a daughter who is diabetic & had cancer and chemo and so peace & quiet & sleep r very important. He was part of the staff &very good looking & apparently thinks he can get away with anything. We were giving no apology from the manager for this. Apparently Worldmark is too far out in the country to hire Qualified staff. Hello Worldmark! did you know you could get college students to come work for you ...like the lodges and they'd be a big improvement from Mr. Pervert!! FYI get rid of Mr. Pervert!! We're planning to come again, not stay with u, so I will check and see if Mr. Pervert is gone. Here is a description of Mr. pervert ...you can't miss him: He's very good looking, dark blackish hair & he is late 20s or early 30s & is not over 6 foot tall... and He has a very nice build. He is nice to look at for the ladies & the gay men. Really! Only one on staff thats good looking. Also, There were many families staying several days & The manager put them right next to the laundry room?! & so we had to listen to the staff talk loudly from 6 AM & all day. Apparently Employees takes their brakes there too, so the conversations were loud & sometimes inappropriate & they were bad mouthing us as well as other guests. So I don't think that's the best place to put people who are staying more days... But maybe they didn't want 5 different families to give 5 bad reviews. So maybe I write 5 bad reviews for each day with Mr. pervert who greeted us inappropriately. You know after thinking about it... we should've just called the police/sheriff because the management wasn't not helping us with Mr. Pervert. & also we should've called Worldmark management directly& immediately after the first event. I did talk to Worldmark after & they apologized profusely and They said they would call them. Also, I am Not sure if Mr. perv did it ...but our hotspot disappeared. We'd been to 6 different hotels/condos with our hotspot & it was sad ... it disappeared at Worldmark West Yellowstone. Little odd,but Mr. pervert was in our room inappropriately when we were there, so No surprise if he was in our room when we were gone!!? You would think the theft of the hotspot would be a bigger deal but we just turned it off. But no Mr Pervert was the biggest complaint!! Also something that Worldmark & Wyndham and their hotels need to fix... On the morning that you check out... They think they can come into your room, at any time, to wake you up and they don't care... They have some stupid policy that you can leave the card at the desk or in your room & then they'll come randomly and bust into your room at whatever time they desire on check out day. You could say this might've been Mr. Perverts problem but this reason could only be possible on 2 of the events & the other 5 don't qualify. Worldmark! Do Not give Guests Unscheduled Wake Up Calls! & don't allow Mr. Pervert to come in guests rooms whatever he wants! It does not make you look good as a provider of hotels & condos in this market! At one place, we were the only car in the parking lot & you have to tell them which car is yours At check-in & we checked in at 1 AM & the system shows this, So there's really No Excuse for some idiot walking in your room at 6-7am to give us a personal wake up call that was never scheduled. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you have a "do not disturb" sign on your door or not. They just walk in! & I have kids w/ me, so my 1st thot is defend! It's sad because Worldmark & Wyndham & RCI set the guest up for a bad stay & they set up their employees to possibly get injured with their bad policy. Until Worldmark & Travelodge & Wyndam & RCI fix this policy... Maybe stay somewhere else. FYI - Hampton does not have this policy & neither does Hilton or Holiday Inn express & you can get a good nights sleep! Pervert free! I am surprised at all the good ratings for this site. The unit that we were given was not that clean, the dishes were not clean and two bowls had encrusted food in them. The service desk was not very helpful, although there were a couple of people they did not seem to want to help when all we wanted was to check out. We were charged about $25 for occupancy tax for the week that we stayed which was just a timeshare excchange. Then we were also charged $3.09 on our credit card. When I called to find out what it was, I was told by the manager named Peggy that it was for a movie rental. She insisted that we did because she has the movie rental slip, our unit number and a signature. To give her the benefit of the doubt, I asked my husband if he had rented a movie and he did not. I also did not recall renting any movies and my husband and I were together the whole time. The manager's attitude got uglier while sheinsisted that we rented a movie. It was not worth fighting over $3.09 and so I asked her to send me a copy of the rental slip. She said that she will mail it.
