8 Pack Dumplings & 6 Pack of Bao
    Bradley J.

Not bad! We got them delivered so they weren't as fresh as I'd like but the filling on the dumplings and bao's were super yummy!

Teriyaki chicken bowl, with maybe 2 ounces of chicken. $10. Avoid!

DO NOT ORDER! Like other reviewers, we were shocked at the small portion sizes for the price. We ordered 2 bowls and got about 2 ounces of chicken on a small bed of rice. Each bowl had maybe 2 spoonfuls of chicken, hardly enough to justify the $10 per bowl price. Do yourself a favor and skip trying this place. It's not worth it! The menu images are complete lies.

Had to scoop the meat up to make a better picture, but there was just a tiny scoop there :(

The Bao and potstickers were delicious and if you ordered just that, you'd be fine! What was less-than-impressive for me, and many others on this page, were the bowls. When we opened up our order, it looked like they just gave us this tiny cup of just rice? The meat mixture was a tiny scoop on the side of the bowl so you couldn't even see it at first and it was pretty disappointing... especially when all the pics corporate shows are these beautiful loaded bowls with all kinds of green onions and veggies on top. After mixing it in the rice to meat ratio was too great, and you'd just get bites of plain rice... Which was disappointing because the meat stews were all super flavorful! I got the chicken teriyaki and my husband got the spicy kung pao. For $15, it just wasn't worth it to me at all. The Bao were large and fluffy, and I liked that they came with the paper on the bottom to list what flavor they were since my husband and I ordered different ones. But we both loved the spicy mongolian beef and the chicken teriyaki bao. The BBQ Berkshire pork was okay, but we preferred the flavors on the other! This is my first time trying Bao, and all the dough was interesting to me... Maybe a little dry? I'll definitely have to find a local, non-chain bao place to try and update how they really compare! As for the potstickers, they were a teensy tiny bit overcooked, but the filling was good and they were delicious... You can also get 30 of them for $30 so you know where I'll be next time I'm eating my feelings!

5 Pack Dumplings + wrong dumplings from shareable bundle
    Dominique G.

We ordered the shareable meal for 2 and 5 dumplings. The buns are soggy and mushy. The filling is honestly tasteless and mushy as well. We were supposed to receive 3 different types of bao but only got one (possibly spicy Mongolian?). Received no potstickers with our order. Despite the dumplings looking disgusting, they are also soggy but the flavor wasn't that bad. If you are a texture person DO NOT buy this food. Matter of fact, no one should eat this food. It's honestly inedible. I ate 1 bao and 3 dumplings and my stomach is in knots. Believe the reviews and do not purchase. 2/10 (also I wouldn't go to any "wow bao" because I have heard they are all the same)

This was my first time ordering and I hasn't had bao since high school. I think that are are a few bad options when ordering and it could cause someone to not have the best experience. The veggie bao was not good. It tasted really bad. The Kung Pao chicken bowl was 3/4ths rice, but it tasted fresh and was delicious. The bao was still warm when it made to me!

I love baos so I'm not surprised how much I enjoyed these. A fair price and they were delivered quickly to my house. Definitely worth trying.

This is how the potstickers were delivered. Unbelievable.

The restaurant features an extensive drink menu that will suite anyone's pallet. We chose to start with the bread service which was killer especially the honey butter. All of the apps look d amazing but went for the dry rub duck wings with home made ranch. My only critic was I wish there were more than 3. Finished off with the shrimp and grits. Although, I wasn't in New Orleans the spiciness took me back there. The wait staff was great. Even though we were late for the reservation we were seated promptly and had multiple people taking care of us. Spoke & Steele is a must if you are staying in the hotel but also if you want a cool vibe for drinks and great food I would stop by and take a look.

The seating? Intimate. The lighting? Soft. The whole space feels like a quiet luxury moment tucked right into the city. Now let's talk about what REALLY matters, the food. The shrimp & grits??? Listen... this wasn't just a dish, this was an EXPERIENCE. The grits were creamy, smooth, and perfectly rich, but that sauce layered on top?? Whew. Flavor on flavor on flavor. You've got that deep, savory, slightly smoky profile with juicy shrimp, sausage, and those pickled onions cutting through everything with the perfect tang. Every bite felt intentional. Like somebody knew what they were doing in that kitchen. And can we talk about how beautiful it was plated?? Because yes, I absolutely appreciated the aesthetics before I even picked up my fork. Paired it with a simple coffee moment, sitting by the window, and honestly... it felt like a reset. Not rushed, not loud, just good food, good atmosphere, and a chance to actually enjoy it. If you're looking for a brunch spot that feels a little more elevated, a little more intentional, and delivers on both flavor and experience. This is it. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back!!!

The fish was so fresh, and you could genuinely taste the nori, which makes a huge difference. We branched out and tried the Kumamoto oysters too. Worth it. They're tinier than your typical oyster and came with a range of flavors from the seasonings and sauces. Honestly, we wish they'd been served more simply because we wanted to compare them to the ones we've had in Japan, and all the sauce made that tough. Still a fun order though. Skip the Seafood Pot, in our opinion. It tasted like Bird's Nest to us and just wasn't anything special compared to everything else. Bottom line: come for the sushi. It's the standout, and it's what'll bring us back. With ramen, hibachi, bubble tea, and a full bar also on the menu, there's plenty to explore on a return visit.

The staff, drinks, food, music and overall atmosphere are consistently exceptional. The cocktail menu is fantastic. My personal favorite is the painkiller - a delicious blend of coconut, rum, orange, pineapple, and nutmeg. It's served in a skull glass and tastes absolutely perfect. I also appreciate that they make their noodles in house! Have you ever had a meal you can't stop thinking about? That's exactly how I feel about the shoyu ramen. It features their noodles, truffle zest, pork belly, egg, veggies and chicken in a deeply flavorful broth. Order a side of rice and dip it into the broth and thank me later! Patio seating available.

I had the mocktail Nohito and it was sooo cute and delicious! The others had cocktails and a bottle of coke (yes glass bottle)- cute right?! Now we had the Karange tofu and I need that recipe! The crispiest most flavorful tofu outside and nice and soft inside. Couldn't tell it wasn't chicken! We also had oysters. For dinner I had the Katsu Curry and it was on point! And the leftovers were just as delicious. My sister had the Tantanmen and it was sooo good!! I could drink that broth. They do give you options for rice instead of noodles and broth if you like options. We also shared the Glazed tofu and yall it will change your LIFE!!! Cute monkeys hanging out everywhere with beautiful string lights and a classy understated tiki vibe. Please go here if you haven't yet. You'll thank me later

Both of us landed on 1/5. Here's what we ordered: the Mega Bowl Ramen (Chashu & Shrimp) combo with Thai Tea and a Pork Bun, the Fried Squid Tentacle, and the Pork Belly Kamameshi. The ramen was salty and just didn't taste good, which was a real letdown given the crowd. The noodles came out firmer than what we're used to at places in Texas and Japan, and the chashu was the single best part of the whole bowl. The Thai Tea was a complete miss--it looked good but was overwhelmingly milky, like 85% milk, which isn't what Thai tea typically tastes like. The Pork Bun was drowning in sauce and overwhelming to eat. The Fried Squid Tentacle was the highlight of the meal, though it's comparable to what you'd find elsewhere. The Pork Belly Kamameshi was the worst item by far with a tiny amount of rice with a huge amount of sauce piled on top. We got through only about a fifth of the pan because it was too intense and far too little rice. To be fair, this spot gets a lot of love online for its broth and its novelty robot server (can be found in a lot of Japanese restaurants) so tastes clearly vary. But for the two of us, the meal was salty, oversauced, and unbalanced, and we wouldn't come back. 1/5.
