Turkey & Provolone Sandwich (plus banana peppers)

Rock solid local gem of a breakfast and lunch spot. I've never had anything less than good here. Most recently, I got a turkey and provolone sub with banana peppers and a Greek salad, both of which were great. The ingredients in the sub were fresh and flavorful, with quality turkey and slightly gooey, melted provolone. It's hard to make a notably good turkey sandwich, but they did it here - I'll definitely be getting this again! Same goes for the Greek salad - again, very good, fresh ingredients, a generous amount of feta, olives, pepperoncinis, and a great dressing makes this another standout. I'll be back soon for these and more!

Good local deli. It was clean. No frills but the sandwich was very good. The service was very good, friendly and prompt. I got the club sandwich. I definitely go there again if I'm in that area at lunch time. I recommend coming here.

I finally tried this place after working from home for 9 months. Previously, I am always at work while they are open. I have been twice now. Italian Cold Cut- very delicious. Definitely stood up to another favorite of mine at another deli. Turkey, swiss and bacon with thousand island dressing- my boyfriend's all time favorite BLT- plenty of bacon Bacon, egg, and cheese on white toast- love the breakfast sandwich Philly Cheesesteak- wow. Better than I have hoped. It has sweet preppers, not a typical topping, but tasted amazing with it. Great place for breakfast and sandwiches.

Very nice and cute deli. Don't let the interior deter you from grabbing a bite to eat here. I actually quite enjoyed the food. The first time I had Wow Deli, my coworker offered to grab me some food. I skimmed through the menu and decided on the Grilled Chicken & Pesto Wrap with no tomatoes. It was very good and very filling! The chicken was fresh and I enjoyed it. Because I enjoyed it so much I wanted to give them another try. I was craving something sweeter like honey mustard so I asked if I could customize my own wrap. At first the woman behind the counter seemed a little confused but she eventually let me. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with provolone and honey mustard. Plain and simple! Although it was very small (my fault) and was only a little filling it was so good! The chicken was again fresh and the honey mustard was delicious! Exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back to this deli. It might honestly become my go to work spot. They also have a large variety of drinks and snacks to choose

This is a great local spot to grab a sandwich. I was recommended here and wasn't let down. It was a good sized wrap and a bag of chips for under $10. I ordered the French and it was loaded with turkey. My only recommendation would be to try and get some of the sauce in the middle of the wrap; it was primarily at the ends and dropped out early on. I'm going to definitely come back and try a couple other things. Their meats and veggies tasted very fresh! Keep up the good work!

Grabbed lunch from here with a couple co-workers. It's in a shopping center on Gaither Road that's pretty busy during the work day. The gentleman that took our order was friendly. We ordered chicken fajita wrap and a couple tuna salad wraps. Both were good, but nothing super. We will go again and try something else. They have items on their specialty list that sound good.

I walked by this place while eating dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant (name escapes me now) and was intrigued by the cheesesteaks sign in the window. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I had to go, and I was very satisfied. The cheesesteak was delicious and large enough without being overwhelming. I also added the fries and soda combo, and the whole order cost $10.32. Not bad in this day and age. I will be back to try the other sandwiches on the menu, but I think the cheesesteak here is better than the ones sold by South Street Steaks in Gaithersburg. If I want a cheesesteak, I'm coming here. read more

If you're in the area and looking for a good breakfast, head to Wow Deli, order the breakfast cheesesteak, and throw some sriracha sauce on that bad boy before you walk out the door. Eggs are made fresh with your order, the nicely minced up steak is some of the best I've had outside Philly, and the roll was the perfect density to manage the filling without going soggy or dominating your bites. read more

The food is SOOO good at Wow Deli. Over the past almost 10 year I've gone here at least twice a week (sometimes more). The staff is always super nice and friendly. The food is always fresh and there is so much verity on their menu. June and David really know how to make delicious food. Delicious salads, wraps, burgers, turkey avocado sandwich, ruben, breakfast sandwiches, Chipotle chicken sandwich, etc. A lot of times there are lines, but during peak lunchtime it gets as busy as any place that's worth going to.The lines also move quickly --Jack read more

I love this deli for lunch. The food is always fresh and fast. They are pretty busy at lunch and there is not really room to wait for your food to be prepared. I recommend going just before noon or after 1:00. Try the tuna melt! It is my favorite and is great every time I order it. read more

I had the Sophia chicken sandwich. It was really good I guess maybe the only bad thing was the chicken was slightly dry. Otherwise it hit the spot and was a really good size sandwich. The roll was delicious and fresh. I left satisfied and happy. read more

Fresh food, well-prepared, and in big portions. The Wow has become my go-to lunch place over the past few years. Their roasted turkey is excellent. My fav is their Turkey Avocado, which comes in a pita and never gets old. I also like their subs (philly, turkey provolone), wraps (chicken caesar & wow club wrap), and their california dream, which is a veggie pita. Gyros are also very good. For breakfast, their sausage, egg, & cheese quesadilla rocks. A friendly, family run place. Very inexpensive. The parking lot is not great (I usually walk), and they could use more seating (a price of success, I guess), but I eat here at least 2 times a week so yeah, I'm kind of a fan. read more

Fine establishment with fast service. I was happy with my lunch order, but I just can't give it 4 stars. I would eat here again without hesitation... but only if I was nearby. I wouldn't drive 30 minutes out of my way for a sandwich here (I will do that for some sandwiches). If you're nearby, this place is at least 50 x better than the subway around the corner. read more

I can't believe I've lived in Gaithersburg my whole life and jus found this place recently. It is the best deli I've probably ever been to. They have amazing sandwiches. I usually get the steak and cheese. They also have all good dessert bars and really friendly staff. read more

I've come twice for lunch and once for breakfast. I've gotten the New Yorker, Chicken Cheesesteak, and French Toast breakfast, all of which have been superb. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the sauces/cheeses enhance the flavor so well. Since it's located in a relatively corporate area, a lot of office workers go there on their lunch break, but the wait isn't bad (5 - 10 mins) since the spot is still relatively hidden from the masses. Only downside is it's closed on weekends. Great, friendly service. Koreans know how to put out good food! read more

I have eaten at wow a couple times a year. I had the Philly cheese steak combo. I thought the sub had great flavor and the French fries were well seasoned. I remember why I don't eat there often because the parking is awful. The service is ok but if you want a good Philly steak you should try wow. read more

Stopped in based on Yelp reviews, and enjoyed a Thanksgiving preview turkey-cranberry sandwich. There were lots of other attractive options, including burgers, wraps, and hot sandwiches, but the turkey-cran was an excellent choice. The real sliced turkey breast, fresh baked roll, and tasty cranberry sauce made a delicious combination. This place is way above the chain sandwich joints... a solid 5 star lunch stop. read more

I love this place. I wish it were open 7 days a week. I have gone for both breakfast and lunch. I would gladly pick this place over an IHOP any day for breakfast. There cheese steaks are phenomenal and they have a great variety for such a small shop. I plan on going for years. read more

I have been getting lunch here (and sometimes breakfast) at least once a week for the past 5 years. The sandwiches are always consistently prepared and there is enough variety not to get tired. I particularly like that the turkey is fresh and not supermarket lunchmeat quality. The fries are seasoned with old bay, and excellent. They have plenty of condiments and toppings available, and are good about substitutions and requests. They remember the names of all of the regulars and they move the crowd well during lunchtime. read more

Wow that was a bad Cheesesteak. The meat was tasteless and so was the cheese. The veggies inside were too strong for the low key meat. When someone says famous Cheesteak I hold them to it being at least okay. This was subpar for its cost range. Their other sandwiches might not be that bad. read more

Probably the best deli in MoCo. Really great prices but the food is off the chain. From their breakfast to their lunch menu it's all great. All fresh and cooked right in front of you. Family owned and it really shows. My only complaint would be it's limited hours. Not open weekends and only open during the day. I think it's the long commute I read about in the Post Magazine. read more

Purchased pastrami on pumpernickel bread with a large fry combo. Good, but nothing I would get addicted to. Good portions, good ingredients, but nothing exemplary. That being said, I wouldn't mind eating here again. Fries were better than I would expect and the staff are helpful and friendly. Nice place to find off of Gaither Road. read more

This place serves the best breakfast for the money in the area. I always order the eggs. scrapple and home fries platter. It is the only place I know of that serves scrapple in this immediate area. Its not fancy but good. I also have tried their Philly Style Cheesesteaks with the sweet peppers and they are pretty good as well. Too bad they don't open for dinner and weekends. If they did, I would give them 5 stars. read more

Their chicken gyro is to die for. I work across the street from Wow and I could never get tired of going here. The cashiers are super nice and the food is awesome. Everything is fresh including their fruit salads. I don't believe I've ever had a bad experience here. Love them! read more

This place is a hidden lunch spot in Rockville. Truly a locals favorite. Wow Deli is a big favorite of the office. Love their sandwiches and the fries are awesome! I would recommend the Italian sub or the club sandwich. Both are excellent. Prices are pretty good too. read more

Cute Deli, many drink/cookie/chip options, but the sandwitched are subpar. I got a veggie sandwitch which was supposed to be full of different vegetables and hummus, and all it turned out to be is a pita full of lettuce. Maybe there was a smudge of avocado in there somewhere, but i didnt find it. Tried some chicken sandwitches there as well, wasnt impressed. read more

The rolls were very meaty with complex overlapping flavors from the sumac, pomegranate, and molasses. The spinach pie let the tart bright flavors of the spinach come through, and it was a nice way to follow the rolls. They do catering here, and I could see these being great finger foods to serve at a party. The cooler has yogurt sodas and there are many frozen homemade dumplings and other items to take home. I had to rely on adding guac and some salsa for flavor. I was hoping the veggie would have some flavor without having to rely on sauces. Al Pastor - was very good. Guacamole - comes "market price". The side we got was $3, which I think was a good value. The guac was flavorful and was a nice portion. I am glad I had it to supplement the disappointing Veggie taco and the dryness of the Pollo. The corn tortillas were good. The place is nice and comfortable.

We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.
