I took my child for the 1st time he was seen by Dr.Raja she told me my son had three cavities they scheduled me for a filling a week after so I went in the filling was not put on right a month passed and noticed my sons filling was put on wrong I took him in early in the morning and she switched the white filling to a silver filling I said ok just make the pain go away. We went home and my son was still complaining and crying about his tooth when I seen the X-rays his filling was put on wrong in the 1st place which most likely caused him to have an infection and broke since there was a little gap this lady doesn't know what she is doing they had to remove my sons molar he is on 6 years old. As a mother I feel so bad I let him down thinking I was taking him to the right place since it is a kids dental office. I have now searched for a well recommended dentist. Place sucks ! Hard to get apt ! And if you miss an. Apt it's a $25 charge ! And what type of place who book a miss apt for today for a damn cleaning in December! It's only September. I came across WOW KIDS DENTAL when I was looking for a dental care for my little one (two years of age). I didn't know what to expect but it was easy and everything was smooth -- from making an appointment to the confirming the appointment to the day of the actual appointment. The environment itself is kid friendly, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They answered all questions and concerns. Parking is somewhat limited but I had no issues with parking given that my little one's appointment was early in the AM. Overall, I highly recommend Wow Kids Dental - five stars! read more

Exceptional pediatric dental care! Brought my son in for a cleaning and cavity filling and Dr. Hothi was just amazing! She treated my son with such kindness and laughter making the whole experience a breeze. In the end we left with a little toy and a few friends! The dental office is well-maintained with a welcoming atmosphere for children. It has a waiting area we'll equipped with fun furniture and entertaining activities. The front staff/receptionist is very sweet and attentive making the check-in smooth and stress-free. As I took my son to the back, all the hygienists and Doctor made my son feel like he was a friend of everyones. I brought my baby to the office a few weeks ago and had the absolute BEST experience! My baby was nervous at first and didn't want to let me go but once the doctor and staff came in they were so caring and patient with her. Other offices I've been to in the past don't really make the effort to make both my baby(the patient) or parents feel comfortable but at this office my daughter wouldn't leave and not only that they make things fun for the kids and promote healthy dental hygiene by tracking and rewarding them on next visits with cute little toys. If you need a place where you don't need to worry and know that your kids will be taken proper care of then bring them in at Wow! If you take your son to this place, make sure they do what you request. I told them that my 5 years son is scared of Dentists and instead of using mask anesthesia to make him comfortable and not fully sleep no, they used local anesthesia making the situation worse and traumatic too. We went to the next appointment, and they tried to put crowns, of course, he was so scared that he cries like crazy, and impossible to complete the procedure! Now they suggested full anesthesia, without trying the mask anesthesia I requested from the beginning. I'm trying to find another dentist because I do not find full anesthesia safe. Also, make sure the appointment meets your son's needs. They put some gums to separate his teeth and they wanted to come back the next day! So I told to the receptionist to make sure If we should arrive the next day, I mean just one day the teeth will not be separated! read more

Super rude !! They are super rude!! They are not accepting new patients which it's fine but there is no customer service at all.

The dentist in this office does not deserve any star. My 3 year old daughter fell and one of her front tooth had a small crack on one side. I took her to this dentist office because it's closed to my home. They took an x-ray for my daughter and said that my daughter needs a crown for this cracked tooth and the 2 teeth that on the left and right of the cracked tooth need crowns as well because they have cavities. I was stupid enough to trust them. They tied my daughter up to do the procedure. Finally, my daughter had 3 crowns on a roll for her 3 teeth without needing the root canal. Two weeks later, she was in pain because her gum were swollen really bad (where the crowns teeth at). I took her back to the dentist, she said that she could not do anything to save the teeth. She had to extract them. My 3 years old ended up lost her 3 teeth. Later, I found out that my daughter did not need the crowns for the 2 "cavities" teeth. I want to find a lawyer to sue her. Instead of giving my daughter the crown for the cracked tooth only, she did the other 2 teeth as well so she can charge my insurance. God is up there and know what you are doing "Dentist", KARMA will come back to you or your children in the future. read more

My oldest daughter has been coming here since elementary school. I recently called on 7/8 to make an appt for my 3 kids. 14, 4, and 1 1/2 year old. I have been calling them regarding appts for all 3 together for a while, but they're always booked and busy. I get it. But I was finally able to make an appt for them on 7/8 for 8/24 this Wednesday. But today I got a call from their office manager who was confirming appts for only my 14 & 4 year old. I told her it should be 3 appts. For my 3 kids, she said I'm sorry there's only 2 and we have no record of your son. I told her I don't understand how I gave all the Information to your receptionist who answered the phone that day and she told me 8/24 was the earliest they can take 3 of them together. So I took the day off so that it would hopefully calm my son since it's his first dental appt. She said she can not add on another appt they are completely booked. At this point I'm already pissed. I booked this almost 2 months out so that they can all go together. And she said there's nothing she can do, no accountability for the mistake their office made. She just went on saying they're looking for front office staff so they've been having a few new people come and go. That should not be a burden to your patients as this is an internal issue you're having. She said she can reschedule or cancel their appts, doesn't help. I said no. I want to keep their appt. So she proceeded to tell me she can schedule my son for 9/8 at 1:30, now I don't know about their other patients parents but I work and my schedule is pretty tight as most working moms. Then she said 9/22 5 pm. Another month out. At this point I said I'll just take the 9/8 if I can't make it I will reschedule on Wednesday when I come by with my girls. She wouldn't take my appt since I don't have his insurance card. I'm at work I don't have my kids information, but since it's a mistake on your office part you should at least try to accommodate me since I am a returning patients mom that has been with you guys for many years. She made no effort to rectify the situation. At this point I'm just fed up. My kids won't come here again. The professionalism of this office has went from 10-0 for me. Don't get me wrong, the doctor my daughter had was always amazing. But this did it for me and it was the office manager I was talking to. read more

Do yourself and your child a favor and don't come here. I came here with my two sons for a few years because the staff is friendly and I thought we were getting good care for our sons. I was wrong. I didn't learn until, it was too late that their x-ray equipment doesn't pick up on smaller cavities at every angle. I was charged for cavities they never filled for my 5 year old son. They brushed paint on them that was supposed to prevent the cavities from spreading but, they didn't work and he had to get a tooth extracted. They put a sealant on his permanent teeth because he is cavity prone but, that was done inadequately. The dentists didn't take the time to help us figure out what he was eating that caused cavities since he mostly drinks water and doesn't eat a lot of candy. I think they get paid more when cavities get worse so, they can bill more to the insurance company and that's a shame if, it's true. Thankfully I found a dentist in Castro Valley that not only rescued my sons teeth but, educated me on other sticky foods like bananas and oranges that my son loves to eat but also, causes cavities. Tough lessons learned for our family and I pray that you find a better dentist than this one for sure! read more

Took my son here for his first dentist appt. the location is easy to find and the staff are nice and know how to deal with kids. The appointment was quick since he's only 2 years old but so far so good. There's a tv and some toys in the waiting area to keep your kids occupied. The parking lot is small but since they are only opened on weekdays, it's enough parking. read more

I called them to schedule an appointment for my 3 year old daughter, and the lady on the phone that said she was the office supervisor. She asked me what insurance i had and if I've been there before. I answer the questions and she goes on to say " were accepting new patients until mid September, try calling mid September" first off, that made no sense. 2nd, i'm calling to make an appointment before mid September so why would i call mid September? They don't have any knowledge on what they're talking about. I don't understand if they're accepting until mid September or of they aren't accepting until mid September. They need to definitely go over their lines before answering the phone. read more

I just took my son here for the first time. I was very nervous about going back to the dentist ever since Covid, but this place was so exceptional. The receptionist was super sweet. My first impression of this place when walking in was it was very clean. They had Paw Patrol playing. The person who took my son to do Xrays was really great with my kid. He responded really well to her. With cleaning she was very patient and was slowly introducing each item to him to get him familiar. My son had a pleasant expierence. When I brought my 2 1/2 year old and 5 year old for their initial check ups I loved the place. It was clean and organized and the staff is incredibly friendly. As it turned out my 5 year old needed some work done so I made the first available appointment. It was only a two week delay between the initial appointment and the procedure appointment which I thought was great. The reason I am giving this place 4 stars right now is the fact that they do not allow parents access to the room where the work is being done for caps and fillings. My son was terrified when he came out of his appointment and was very upset about the fact that I was not allowed to be near him when this trauma took place. For the most part I still think this is a great kids dentist. But I do not approve of parents not having access to their children during procedures. I hated feeling helpless while I knew my child was struggling through a serious dental appointment on his own at only 5 years old. read more

They understand that the foster youth who are sent there have experienced trauma, and they take great care to be mindful of this. They were patient and kind with the kids. The worst place ever! They are NOT KID FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF, I went there with my 3 year old . What kind of crook business they run that they don't allow parents to sit with the kids , also they told my kid didn't have cavities in one particular tooth then they charted her chart with cavities !
