am very disappointed with my experience at East Bay Dental Surgery. I called two weeks in advance and clearly explained that my son has a nickel allergy and needed white crowns for both front and back teeth. I was told this would not be a problem and that they could accommodate him. When we arrived, the room was dirty, and the environment was not appropriate for a child with special needs. No X-rays were taken, and there was no proper dental evaluation done. Instead, after a brief interaction, we were told they could not help and were given a referral to UCSF. While a referral was written, the situation could have been avoided if the office had been honest from the beginning. The communication and bedside manner were very poor, and the staff came across as rude and dismissive. This appointment was a waste of time after confirming everything in advance. Families with children who have allergies and special needs deserve clear communication, professionalism, and respect -- which we did not receive here. read more

I called East Bay Dental and was really disappointed with the experience. The first time I called, someone picked up and immediately hung up. I called back again, and the receptionist answered with an annoyed tone. I asked a simple question--if they accept Medi-Cal--and she said yes, but added that they only see kids. That caught me off guard because everything I've read, including their "About" section and past reviews, clearly states they serve both children and adults. As someone who's worked as a receptionist for years, I can say this interaction was far from professional. A receptionist is often the first impression of a business, and unfortunately, this one made a poor one. If the staff isn't welcoming or informed, it reflects badly on the whole practice. I hope management takes note, because this kind of front desk behavior can really turn people away. read more

My grandson has surgery today and both of the doctors were kind and very informative before and after surgery and I can honestly say by the time my tears dried up the surgery was done, they even gave him the teeth they pulled so the tooth fairy can come. read more

We called this place because we had been referred from another clinic since our son is autistic. The operator in a very apathetic manner told us that they don't accept patients from the clinic they referred us to. We asked a few questions, to which the operator responded in a very rude manner. I understand that there may be mistakes, but what I hate in this case is that the person on the phone is so unfriendly. If she's not good enough to work in customer service, she'd better work somewhere else. read more

From scheduling her appt to getting treatment takes about 2 months: strongly suggest you to book appointment early because their appts get booked very fast. Here's an update for the New Year on my newest experience and horrible treatment from this place. I wrote a review back in October on how they treated me when I was trying to get my son seen here. In October, they stated that they didn't have any available appointments until January of 2024. Which was totally bullcrap! The female head dentist there was just being a mean person. So I call in January to try to get my son an appointment because at this point his teeth are loose and about to fall out. The secretary is going to tell me that they don't have any appointments until April! Like what in the entire HELL??? Are you serious right now? First y'all told me January back in October. Now it's April? This place is a total disaster! Then she didn't even give me a date for April. She just said April! I cannot say this enough.. But this is literally the worst dentist office ever! I don't recommend anyone to come here. The treatment on patients is unacceptable! And on top of that, they lie constantly. It went from pushing back my sons appointments. To them canceling his appointments. To them not having any availability for months at a time. I'm starting to think that they're being racist. I'm so serious! read more

Worst experience! Doctor barely explained anything and was not even friendly with the kid instead he was rushing to get done so that he can move to his next appointment. Just like another reviewer mentioned they ended up getting more teeth extracted as compared to what was originally planned. Same happed with us and Dr Ali didn't even bother to make us comfortable instead rushed us with everything . He rushed with anesthesia and post surgery. After my son's surgery he just wanted us to be gone because he had another patient lined up. They don't have any post surgery accommodations so that they kids can take time to be conscious enough to walk and handle their body. This doctor didn't care for my kid and didn't even provided any cloth for the bleeding. Such a shame to see that doctors look at patients as a big paycheck. If you care for your kids health think twice before you go to this place. read more

This was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Dr. Zadeh and his staff were nice and welcoming. Dr. Zadeh took his time and put great care into my dental work. He explained everything and let me know my options. He kept checking in with me during the work to make sure I was comfortable. The location is easy to get to and from Mountain View. Normally I'd prefer something much closer to me since I live in Sunnyvale but I was having trouble finding a place that would cover for my daughters general anesthesia because she had quite the work that needed to be done considering she's only 3 going on 4. Most of the places around here would not cover her the GA. So I looked up on here and I came about this place and after days of searching I gave it a go and I don't regret it one bit! I'm not sure what the receptionists name is but I went about 4 times and it was the same girl every time. From the moment I gave them a call she was so nice was very thorough on explaining that would happen following our appointment, when I would be able to meet the anesthesiologist so I can ask away anything I wanted. I think she noticed how nervous I was before the procedure that day, she made sure I knew everything that was going on and thank god for her because I would've gone crazy!.. I left a message over the weekend to see if I could come in as a new patient and book an appointment (I left my name, number, what insurance I have, and my dental concern) but received no call back. I called twice on Monday (9AM & 12:45PM), but no one picked up. I left another message for a call back and received none. I was trying to set an appointment for their office ASAP because of a concern I have regarding one of my teeth. My 4-year-old daughter needed dental work that required general anesthesia. She was too young for local anesthesia. I found this place on-line. I was having a hard time finding a place that takes Medi-Cal for her specific procedure. I called, made an appt. came in for the consultation. The place is very clean and looks new. The dental assistant, the woman that greeted me and provided the paperwork (sorry dont remember her name) to sign was very knowledgeable and sweet. on the day of our appt. My husband and I had a difficult time seeing our Daughter sedated, she talked to us in the waiting room during the procedure and made us feel very comfortable and assured us that everything was going to be ok. The procedure itself was fast and the instructions they gave after her procedure were very clear and concise. If I lived in the area (I live in SSF), I would bring my entire family here for all their dentistry needs! Highly recommend! read more
